Damn, a sunbather right at GZ. With the weather so delightful today I dont expect them to move any time soon.
Finally can turn a few DNFs into a find! This one kept me up at night wondering where it could possibly be. I think the assumption is that it could easily be washed away in the rains but now seeing the hide I can assure it cant be. TFTC, favourite from me. Good luck to future geofinders.
Even with the recent find, still swung by to double check cache still in situ (and clear maintenance request from HQ). As always, cache safe and sound in its hidey hole. It has a high Difficulty rating for a reason, though when found, it's not that hard at all.
Found! After 30mins of sticking my hands where they shouldnt be what a beautiful spot! Definitely a fave for me. Thanks heaps
Oh we gave this guy a fair go.We spent 20+ mins here searching Up and down, poking, feeling and no luckWe would be back
Spent a long time searching but to no avail not sure if still there post recent storms given the recent number of DNFs
Finally so glad to have this knocked off. After quite a bit if searching we paf who pointed us in the right direction. Got it. Very tricky. Tftc
FINALLY we can change our last DNF to a find. We did have to PAF for a little help. Very sneaky hide. TFTC
After seeing the quality of the cachers that have been stymied by this one, I navely thought I could have a crack at besting them. About 45 minutes later, and having checked every likely and unlikely position and found myself increasingly venturing into terrain that was well beyond that marked, I relented and reached out to the CO for a clue. As it turned out, one of my initial ideas had been the right one, but just not thoroughly pursued to its conclusion. An extremely good hide and camo and more than happy to have been bested by this one before ultimately coming up with the goods. Definite favourite point from me.
Came here after finding the nearby Dawn of a Legend. We spent almost an hour searching all the nooks and crannies, reading up previous logs, restarting our phone, just in case, all to no avail. We are sure that a lady who was sitting nearby in view of our shenanigans must have been a bit disturbed as she moved on after a while. We must have checked all the possible places atleast 4 times. Finally as a last resort we emailed the CO who responded after a while with a hint. 3 hours later we returned to GZ, and after another brief search, found the cache in a place we had previously checked. We were relieved to have found the cache finally.
It's a real shame that muggles destroy such a beautiful spot by leaving their trash behind. What is it that as a society we are so callous that we cannot leave a place so others can also enjoy it.
Thanks for placing this cache here and for the beautiful story. Cache gets a FP from us. Thanks mizmaz.

Photographic proof provided today by local contact (my brother) that cache is still and has been in situ all along. Re-enabling but please take note of logging request above when a smiley cannot be claimed due to "could not attempt" rather than "could not find".
Cache always in place when checked (it's rated hard for a reason) but will confirm next time I'm in the area or get a local contact to swing by sooner. A lot of dnfs, which trigger reviewer or HQ action, seem to be due to muggles preventing a search rather than cache itself being missing. Request that a "write note" instead of "dnf" be used in these instances if you wish to log an attempt.
Hi mizmaz,
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Sadly there’s too many places where this could be but I wouldn’t put my hand there.
Despite PAF and searching in a spot that is littered with garbage I could not find the cache
DNF again, I have a particular set of skills, that are not working, the odds are not in my favour for this one... I will be back and I will find you...
Walked down the non slippery stairs while watching the great sunset, together with smooching couples, and many dog owners. Oh is there lots of rubbish here, looked quite a while, but did not find, another time perhaps.
We were nearby with friends visiting Sydney, wazza9 wanted to come have another look & to change the DNF. Walked carefully down the rocks/stairs trying not to slip, wazza9 looked in one place, than another and there it was, it's a long time since anyone had found that cache container. Stamped log and replace. Thanks to mizmaz for a great hide.
TFTC,
What a great pleasure to be able to return and turn a DNF into a found.
Tripping around the southern side of the Harbour today with caching friends increasing their LGA visits.
Visited trackables.

11044 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Nana Nell and Wazza9 at 1540 on our urban caching drive to pick up some of the GC caches and some LGA's. Slippery on the very wet moss and rocks. SL Tnx mizmaz
In the area this morning so swung by to check, ready with a replacement cache just in case. Found there was no need for new container as the original is still in situ (just stuck a little) and in good condition. Also note, after descending the stairs, there is no need to go beyond or climb over any rocks where the rubbish and muggles seem to mostly accumulate. However, still take care and time your visit for stealth. Cache on!
Gah should have checked the logs. Obvious spots seemed to be empty. Fantastic spot though, another time geo caching had brought this life long Sydney sider somewhere new and beautiful
Due to number of DNFs (some due to muggle issues) going back to it's last CO check and a CacheHealth request from HQ, this one is on my radar to check as soon as I can. Unfortunately due to house renos taking a bit longer than expected, my next trip may not be for a few more weeks (month or so at the tops hopefully). Won't disable for now if anyone wants to try at muggle free times (and it is a tricky hide) but keep a watch for the upcoming confirmation that the cache is still in place or replaced.
Another attempt and another DNF. Will try again next time I have dinner in Roselle.
Garbage around here is appalling.

Not our day,
Expanding our caching area as we continue to work on the personal challenge set for us by Grub Fred to lift our caches found per day to 10.
I only needed 2 today but Nana needed 5 so we decided to get help from doing an Adventure Lab which started near here.
Our GPS units had us over the edge and we both looked in some dangerous spots. Walking away and I sent a message to the CO who responded when we were at the car. Back to GZ to check out the hint but no luck. Back at the car again and our earlier PAF got back to us with an amazing description which was about 4M from our search. Back to GZ and another search without any luck. Probably there but to good for us, added to my watch list.

To difficult, I think I chose a wrong day planty of people around, don't looks to me lockdown
Searched all the holes and found it
Ftfc amazing views, even though I live not far I probs would never have come here if not for this !
P.s. there were other fellow hunters there as I arrived, hope they find it too

Cache checked and maintained with fresh log added. Please return well hidden (as intended) to protect it's secrecy as this can be a popular hangout for muggles.
Whilst doing an AL in this area, we attempted to find this but failed. Too bad. Certainly a nice location for a cache. Thanks mizmaz for placing a cache here.
mizmaz I found your cache White Horse Point on 17/3/21, 11:25 am. This is my find 2994 and find # 4 today. A smiley face for my DNF from 2 years ago. Sent a message to CO then and gave me a clue. Today came back and after a 20 minute search, had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Spent 30min in what seems like the correct location according to cords and previous logs. No luck though, hesitant to put my hand in anything as there’s quite a bit of glass. Tried everything as previous logs indicate a clever find but no luck today!
A truly sensational spot, particularly at sunset, and it definitely attracts many muggles as well.
I felt somewhat odd picking my way down past the many couples enjoying the vista, but was quite pleased to find the GZ mostly out of view, and mercifully free of the delinquents who clearly frequent the spot.
I spent some time searching around and about before realising I was exceeding the T rating a touch, and started to reassess.
With the light fading, I tried one last spot that I’d initially discounted and there it was.
What a great hide!
Took a moment to take a selfie for some of my caching buddies and replaced the container moments before the riff-raff arrived. The backpacks clinking with the telltale sounds of alcoholic beverages.
I therefore made a hasty retreat up the rocks, re-enacting Captain Thunderbolt’s climb.

Searched a little. Read some previous logs. Searched a little deeper into the various holes and found it. TFTC. Nice view
Sneaky sneaky sneaky! Loved the camo. I was a bit perplexed at first but the coords were spot on. Great views here, shame the local rif raf are destroying the place.
What a horrible trash heap.
So much garbageincludinv glass and needles made it unsafe to search with our gloves.
Sad to see such a mess in an otherwise lovely spot.

A little time to spare before. Launching my canoe, so visited this lovely park

Wow what a cracker of a cache. Came to GZ and was scrambling all over for at least an hour. Sat down in a huff and all of a sudden it was in the last place I checked and it really is great camo TFTC and have a FP. Sat nearby to enjoy he lovely ocean for a while in the sun
I visited this cache some months back, and only later found a reason I didn’t find it was that it had been withdrawn for a while due to the Covid lockdown. Now in freer times, another visit yielded a more positive result. The immediate area is obviously a spot where certain illegal activities take place. The cache itself was, as previously flagged in a damaged camo, but not at all obvious if carefully replaced.
TFTC; wonderful views from GZ.

I found the camo broken into three pieces and the container, so, with permission from the owner, I’m logging a find.
What a lovely spot for a picnic.

Found ages ago with epic finder but didn’t have premium to log. Never new of this cave seems like a good kick back spot for kids.

No find here today. Looked everywhere I was comfortable in searching. Engaged bush turkey mode and dug around a bit in the foliage. No dice.
We searched for a decent 20 minutes but felt uncomfortable because of the surrounding bongs, used syringes, broken glass and copious amounts of rubbish. Would not recommend taking children here.
With social restrictions easing and reviewers agreeing it’s safe to start publishing new caches, I’m re-enabling this hide (subject to ongoing monitoring of the situation). As we get out in the field again, it’s up to all of us to stay covid free so please continue to take precautions while playing the game… for yourselves and others.
Despite warnings to stay home in a global health crisis, I’m amazed at those continuing to venture out and log finds, especially new account holders (evident by 10 or less smileys to unknown names). As a responsible CO, I am temporarily disabling all my hides (urban or remote and unloved) until “social exposure” guidelines are lifted. This is for the safety of the finders, those that follow you and those that think it is ok to venture out because someone else did. Any finds recorded before the cache is re-enabled will be deleted so your risk will have been for nothing. Thanks for understanding and stay safe!
Champion spot, beloved by many, and searched by many by the looks of it.
Finally twigged to the clever camo and hiding spot.
Thanks mizmaz

We'd come close to looking for this before, but GZ was occupied by a couple lustily engaged and we had no reason to interrupt their mutual enjoyment. Today we searched and searched, at times in unnecessarily precarious positions. After reading Jackscruff's log. we were sure we hadn't seen anything that fitted and then probing a previously discounted spot a bit more deeply, there it was. Thanks mizmaz.
Just arrived in Sydney this morning! 16 hour flight and now a day of geocaching with our new Aussie friend MizMaz! Stopping for a couple caches on our way to Lane Cove. What a beautiful view! Great place for a hide. TFTC SL
A quiet Boxing Day outing with the geodog to clear an area. Taking heed of the description, we cautiously made our way down the steps. Checked a few spots, amongst all the rubbish some locals have left, but nothing appeared when I poked and looked around. A PAF then assisted and I soon uncovered the good camo and had CIH. It was well out of sight with leaf litter providing extra camo.
A top spot with great views, but the wind nearly blew us off the cliff. Have a FP. Now to see if I can win gold like Our Dawn did! TFTC

Had a brief look around, but our stomachs were grumbling, so we decided to head off for some lunch - will come have another look on another day
We took a look across the bay and marvelled at Thuderbolt’s determination. Meanwhile we were grateful for the hint that got us to GZ safely and out of sight from a few picnicking muggles. Poked around a bit until we found something a little different looking. Inspected it closely and it revealed the prize! Great location, interesting history and clever container. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Finally got this CIH! A well constructed camo with the added challenge natural cover made this a tricky find. Weather was cold and gloomy which thankfully made the area muggle free....also, the CO kindly gave me a steer in the right direction. Still took me a bit of time to find though. Awarded a favourite point for a challenging, well made cache in a beautiful spot
I’ve tried this one a couple of times, but persistence hasn’t paid off will keep trying.
This one is a very sneaky hide. It eluded us the first time around. We were not going to leave without signing the log today. We searched high and low. I kept going back to a very plausible spot, but came empty. Anominous Sign came over and had a look. The cache was right there! I touched the camo 3 times without realising it's right there! A favourite from me for the sneakiness. Thanks for the cache!
Today, sandysa and I were doing some caching around Rozelle and decided to start with this one. Having DNFed it before, we weren't going to leave without a find. Our initial searching wasn't looking hopeful, but then checking something that we'd checked a few times already revealed the sneaky cache! Thanks!
Out on a maintenance/caching today with the CO we stopped in here to take a look, mizmaz stood back and watched me search the likely place with a stick but no luck,I dug deeper and unearthed something, the cache...CO was very pleased it was still in place,it buried itself over time but now maintained and replaced.
Beautiful point to visit and an enjoyable story about the cpt.
Thanks mizmaz for the cache!

Finally made the trip to check on cache for myself and found exactly where it should be (albeit a little more concealed). Took opportunity to swap out log with a fresh roll and replaced as intended. Cache on, with care!
While I have a few previous finders checking on this for me (but getting muggled out), I'm in the process of making a standby container and will temporarily disable until I can get up there myself. Won't be until end of Feb/early March at earliest unless someone can confirm it is still there. It is tricky but also a popular spot for muggles.
We saw the note about the cache possibly being missing, but this cache was on our walk for today so we gave it a go. We checked high and low and even lower. However, we did not find a cache. We'll have to come back another time. Thanks for the cache. It's a lovely spot for a search
We saw the note before the search, but we were already here. There were lots of rubbish around, but we didn't find the cache. However we did enjoy the nice view of the harbour. TFTC.
Following a number of dnfs and a quick check on my behalf by a previous finder today without luck, this one may need a closer check by myself. As it's an 80km one way trip from home (usually have a closer maintainer living around the corner who is currently overseas), it may take a few weeks to do so. Sorry for an inconvenience but feel free to keep searching in the meantime if you wish. I will update as soon as I can.
