We left our guesthouse quite early to do some geocaching near Telegraph Station before it get's too hot. We started on the Bradshaw Walk and enjoyed the hike, combined with looking for the caches. We found almost all of them except one.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
On our travels we stayed in Alice and decided to walk to the telegraph station, we took the hard way up of course and when reach the cache was craving chocolate, thanks for placing this cache
Today we visited the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. Then we thought let’s grab one of those traditionals nearby and we found Mrs Bradshaw. After that first one, we decided to walk the full trail and collect all those traditionals.
Many of them are unfortunately in bad conditions. Mostly the boxes are broken but not all. Nevertheless all caches can still be found. Thanks for hiding all those traditionals and as always TFTC,MumDad2000

Nice to find a cache that is not micro spew. A good walk and a quick find. Unfortunately I didn't have my swag bag as this was an unscheduled stop. I shall have to come back to put some swag in.
Thanks for the cache

After returning from walking the Larapinta Trail end to end yesterday, we decided to go out for a gentle walk without the packs, and grab a few caches along the way. We passed by this series on the way out to the start of the trail, but doesn’t have much time up our sleeve at the time. Today we managed to find 6 out of 6.

Glad Mrs Bradshaw had a constitution (whatever that is), as that means there are caches to find. It was so peacefully quiet this morning. Glad for the shade between the rocks to sit and rest with a nice breeze blowing. Great day to be caching in Alice. TFTC...eatmorchikin from Brisbane
We have been travelling around this great country, calling into see many different places,
now is a quick chance on the computer to catch up with logs and to put some smileys on the map for where we have been.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo along the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka, then through central Queensland to Quilpie, Blackall, Barcaldine, Hughendon and Ravenshoe to Cairns. In Cairns I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend and spent three weeks on Cape York Peninsula before making our way back to Cairns and Mareeba. From there I headed on my own back home via Normanton and Karumba, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and back down the Stuart Highway through Alice Springs to Adelaide. All in all I spent six weeks on the road, visited many out of the way locations, enjoying the scenery and finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Alicecaching!
First geocache at the start of the Larapinta. Possibly not the greatest idea with 15 kg on your pack unbalancing you as I scramble over rocks but nevertheless glad I scored this one.
Having a nice walk along the trail and stopped by for this one. Did what was required to reach GZ and spotted the cache. All good here. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks to the Alicecaching for placing it here.

Having turned back from #10, we decided to try for one more, so headed up the track to this one. We passed several roos sitting under the trees, and at gz made a mercifully quick find of the cache. The rusty lid took some getting off, but managed it in the end.

Round and round I went. It should be hard to find a cache that’s this size and purple. But the last finder had put lots of camo on it so it wasn’t easily spotted.
Thanks for the cache Alicecaching.

As we wander the great land seeing the sights, this is one of the caches we have done.
Thanks to Alicecaching for placing the cache for us to find.

Back in Alice and happy to have completed the spectacularly fabulous Larapinta Trail with buddies. A day off on the bike and seeing some art at Araluen today. And to finish the journey with a few days of the Desert Song Festival has made every day a great day. TFTC Left a TB

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
This traditional Cache we hav also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

During our walk we were even able to encounter some kangaroos - which was really great!
Thanks a lot for hiding this Cache!

Little Squirell
We were held over in Alice for a little bit longer than expected with mechanical difficulties and heard that Little Squirell were still in town so a message was sent and we arranged to meet at the Telegraph Station for coffee this morning which was very pleasant after which we decided to go for a walk to find some more of Mrs Bradshaw's Constitutional series which Mr Crackers had started back in 2014.
We really enjoyed the walk around this area with Little Squirell locating the caches along the way, some gave us more trouble than others but we didn't have any dnf's although we thought that we may have had on a couple.
We were surprised how many people were using this path today and with chatting and caching before we knew it we were back at the Telegraph Station with all 10 caches being found.
Many thanks Alicecaching for setting up this little trail of caches in a fantastic area.
Apologies for the generic log as we were too busy chatting to take any notes.

Thanks so much for this trail. It's been a great day: walking, caching, and learning about the telegraph station. That's it for me, 17 finds, 1 dnf. TFTC.
On our second and last day in alice springs we went for a hike to the old telegraph station and a little beyond to catch a glimpse on what outback hiking along one of the outback trails would mean ... we were very impressed by the scenery and enjoyed the caches alongside the way although always being very careful where to place our hands and feet thanks a lot to the owners for leading us our path through the caches
Found by Mary & David at 1137. Long may this "streak" continue. Still going well and finding the caches in good time. Our thanks to Alicecaching.
Found at 9:27 AM GAFF1 in the company of Liz and Bruce.
