Found this one with alislaur today, we were a bit worried about snakes in the perfect snake weather but I'll place our good luck in not meeting one down to our steadfast stomping Found the cache alright and it was bone dry, but the notepad was rock solid as if it had definitely gotten soaked through and then dried out a few times in its life! TFTC )
My first cache in a while ad it wasn't too difficult with the hint. TFTC. The log book has signs of water damage in the past and it could do with a pen.
#4856 My third attempt at this cache and I had been oh so close the last couple of times.Round 3 was much more successful and name now on log. TFTC
Unfortunately I could not find your cache today. Thanks scruffyblake, for giving back to the game.
I had been here before but didnt get too deep. This time I gave what I thought to be a pretty thorough search but couldnt spot a container.Cant win em all.
Full moon tonight! So of course that means some slightly chaotic behaviour…
…so that included me deciding to go for this cache after the sun was down, not really expecting ground zero to be such a challenge! I parked up and jogged for about half a km to GZ only to discover this cache was particularly well named.
On went the phone torch and away I went, sifting a passage through the obstacles and trying desperately not to lose balance on the damp logs. After a bit of faffing about in the torch light, I refined my search after reading the clue and soon after had the cache in hand. Didn’t sign due to a damp log but have sent the CO a pic as proof.
Was able to extract myself safely and run back down to the car as the moon shone through some light cloud cover, laughing at me every step of the way. Thanks for the cache and mini adventure!

Previous logs were very generous and made the find very straightforward, in an area with dozens of potential hiding locations. Wasn't able to sign due to wet log, so providing a picture instead.

Definitely not in the same place as the clue but is nearby. Somewhat difficult terrain…
Log is saturated so only a photo.
The landscape has changed. The approach is now rather a 2.5 than a 1.5.
So, if you are - like me - dealing with a ruptured ACL take care. I was glad I had a hiking pole to assist.

Had to have a good read of the previous finders logs for this one. Gz a little off. took me a while to understand the good balance reference, but made sense eventually.
Cache very wet and required a bit of TLC
Thanks for the fun.

Big day today! Was chatting with FejerFam about caching last night and he suggested that we could do Majura Cycleway. Great idea! I have been eyeing them off ever since I only did 8 previously. So started at 11am where I met up with FejerFam in Dickson. Then ride up the CCT Trail to get to Majura Cycleway and then we profit. The sky was quite cloudy and we did end up getting rained on quite a bit. Took shelter at 27 Majura Cycleway where we fuelled up too. Then kept going until we reached the end. Then took a ride down to a nice burger place where we ate up at 4pm. Then FejerFam had to go and gave me the option to come in the car with him which I declined. I have a lot more caches to do! Then spent another 3 hours going around Canberra picking up more caches as I go. Good day!
All logs signed as EE + FF except for the ones I found by myself
Thanks to all the COs for placing and thanks to FejerFam for accompanying me!

19/12/21: With my final chance to attend one last event (not including my CITO) before the end of the year, I decided on taking it. So after church today, I headed over to Canberra to attend it as well as find some caches around the around the area. The event was great fun and all the Geo-talk was great as well. Afterwards, I (and others) found a few nearby caches before we headed off. KFC for dinner tonight sounds great.
20/12/21: I wasn't prepared for today's caching adventures. Snakes, mud, damaged containers, dodgy coordinates (mainly due to tree cover), DNF's and issues with geo-apps, were all had today. My first cache I attempted was where I encountered the snakes, walking through knee high grass didn't help. No, I didn't find the cache, even though I was at GZ for 20 minutes waiting for it to be safe. Once it was, I moved on. I then found a couple of nearby caches before heading to lunch. After lunch I learnt about 'Palmerville Village' before leaving Canberra. After that, I found the next lot of caches in the Flags of the world series before heading home. A great couple of days out but now time to rest up for four massive days at work (leading into Christmas).
TB visit. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to the caching community. TFTE and TFTC's!

A quick find today with sophiescout, an interesting bit of history nearby that I knew about but had never gotten around to seeing. TFTC
With a trip to Terabithia, I found it.
However, the log book is completely wet and a bit tricky to sign.

Found while on a bike ride from Kingston, through the wetlands, and then doing the circuit around to Kings avenue back to Kingston. The ulterior motive was to get one of the caches on Dairy Farmers Road, and this was the one I chose, as well as information gathering for the multi here. I was a bit confused when I looked at the area and the hint, it’s changed a bit since placement. After reading some logs, I realised I needed to go deeper. I then had cache in hand quickly, while awkwardly balancing. Thanks for the cache on an interesting area scruffyblake!
Third of 14 finds on a morning walk through the wetlands and around the lake. From reading previous logs we knew this could be almost anywhere. We spent way too much time looking in the wrong places then enzo went for a balancing walk and there it was. Don't use the hint for this one players! So good to find a cache of this size, TNLNSL TFTC

The clue is a bit out of date. Had to go in a little deeper but was able to access without going into the brambles.
Found while completing an AL in the area. Hint is a little out of date, but cache located in good condition in the obvious location about 8m away from where my phone thought it should be. Thank you.
1st find on a counter clockwise afternoon walk around the wetlands area with a mate. He made the find while I kept an eye out for the muggles...
Log book slightly damp. Returned cache so lid is facing downward to reduce water intrusion.
Was super cool finding this one, took me way longer than it should have haha! Although I think the hint is a bit out of date - look at the name more so the hint... By the brambles.

Lovely winters day, took my scarf off to avoid getting hooked on brambles. Spotted cache from a few meters away. TFTC
Another cache marked off the nemisis list!!! Woo hoo. This is going to be a satisfying night of caching. Thank goodness for the excellent team.. GLISS! soon had the cache in hand whilst I caught my breath.
Out on the hunt for some post-op exercise (and the odd cache) with GLISS! And K8tybee Tftc

Out and about with Nibletricecakes and k8tybee. This was a nemesis cache (along with one of today's other targets). Today it was quickly spotted and retrieved. TFTC
The Rats was after a roadtrip to gather a few more numbers to the caching tally so off we went down to Canberra for an overnight trip- plenty of caches found and these days also plenty of labs located. Some nice pleasant weather and plenty of finds.

Decided to get out and do a bit of caching with steeba before the nation was locked down with COVID-19 or any other pandemic the government throws up. As good compliant citizens we kept out distance from others as we moved through the burbs finding a plethora of caches over a 36 hour period.
A bit tougher to find in the dark
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches we found. This may be our last finds for a few months LOL

Oh I love finding caches of this size. I dropped in some swag that I hope someone will appreciate.
I was out exploring the wetlands so continued to grab a few more in the area.
Thank you

Found it.
A few metres off the mark, and not quite in accordance with the hint. Bit of new deadfall in the area.

Second day of a long weekend caching. Today is all about the ACT. Australia day, so there will be muggles around, but it does not spoil the fun. Focus is on lab caches and whereIgo, but all other close caches were grabbed as well.

On this cool and cloudy evening I went out to try for a FTF. No such luck but I had great views of the setting sun behind parliament house with the cow paddock in front. What a sight. And I found two caches out here I didn't get to finiah last time I was out here (also for a FTF
This eluded me and F5 last time as the coords where just not quite convincingly sending us into the thick here. This time I luckily spotted the cache from a distance and made for the retrival.
Thank you scruffyblake for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

The Hint is vaguely correct. There is a fence post hidden behind a fallen huge branch. Tftc
The hint was nothing like the hiding place but the GPS was accurate. The size of the cache makes this an easy find but the brambles make it a little tricky. TFTC
Walking up to this there is a nice established cacher’s trail which made locating the cache very easy, then it was just a matter of dodging the blackberries. TFTC
Found whilst stopping by for part of the Adventure Lab. Ignore the arrow, ignore the clue, follow your instinct.

that was the funniest. Hubby stabbed his head then lost the cache. We had a good laugh. Thank you
