Did not find today. Looked in all the places a geocache could be hidden with no luck. A hint could have been helpful especially for due to high muggle area...
No luck, not even in finding a soggy plastic bag. This is either not there, or not a 1.5 difficulty. Either way the CO needs to check this out
Could some water logged holes and cracks and couldn't find treasure today on way to taupo
Tricky little number to find and searched in a few wrong places before having a last crack. Pleased to have found this one as it was challenging and also a terrific spot and worth visiting. TFTC.
Found ot on the way down to Taupo. We quickly figured out the likely location and there is was! Tftc!
Had to stop so mum could use the ladies so wandered down to the pine man to have a look. As I knew the cache wouldn't be visible I looked in the most obvious place and there it was. Super quick find and back on the road again. Thanks for this cache
First time we've managed to stop for this one and we couldn't find it! Gutted.
Had my doubts about the Pine man after recent DNFs.
But the little nano was a quick find.
Cheers

Early trip to Taupo so was the ideal time to look for this one. He is certainly an impressive sculpture. Thanks for the cache.
Passing through had to have a comfort stop so grabed a cache as well...sneaky hide well camoed magnificant carving well worth the stop tftc ☺☺☺
Took us a while but we persevered until we found it. Thanks for bringing us to The Pine Man. TFTC. Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaii.
Mr CD found the nano replacement which we signed and returned. What a fantastic statue. TFTC
last potential find for the day and couldnt find it.

No luck here today for goldielover and I. Spent quite a bit of time checking it out. Looks like it may have gone.
Found what looks like parts of the cache... I think this one needs a maintenance, definitely.
No sign of the cache, nor the replacement bag, so Corunnaroad replaced with a nano.
No plastic bags there so replaced with nano until cache owner can check. Thanks
Found the poor log book in this state!!! No container, just the log in a plastic bag... Have removed this log and replaced with a waterproof log which is double bagged. I didn't have any small enough containers to fit.
A great town and some history to go with it.
The log here is unfortunately soaked and unusable.
Can happily tell anyone where it is, but here is my picture of the location to show I was here.

A stop close to my destination...I remember grabing a cache here in the past...soon found this one and was on my way again. Tftc
Quick easy find as the cache was slightly exposed tftc, the pine man looks great in his All Blacks getup.
This was the fifteenth day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega. The place was crowded with bus people, but I still managed to find and replace the cache. TFTC.
Had to wait for foreign muggles to take their photos. Easy find. Log was wet inside but since it is waterproof paper, it was fine to write on. We held the log and bag up in the wind and managed to dry it out a bit before replacing. TFTC
Couldn't find my pen but took photo of proof of my presence... he's all kittes out for the rugby it seems
Caching from Taupo to Hamilton today. Heading north to find the Icon and Kiwi Art series. However I discovered a Challenge cache in the Manawatu so I am also collecting minutes of latitude as I go.
S38 13 - tick.
I like this carving. rather cool. Dressing in All Black clobber at the moment.

Oh, what a man. What a man he is. Amazing giant with such a huge chainsaw . Really neat to stop in this great timber town. Had a Trademe pickup close by , so pulled on the hubby's hand brake and made a quick find while admiring the carving detail. Oh what a man, what a man. Tftc fav point from us.
Log still wet so left dry paper in new plastic. A quick find thanks. Great to see these carvings in Tokoroa.
On our way home from Taupo, a quick stop, found fairly quickly, but definitely needs a log redesign as this one isn't working. So not able to sign log.
Bags logs are put in are really trashed and wet and resemble the consistency of wet toilet paper. Could not read any logs let alone sign. Needs Maintenance. Liked reading about the pine man. Took a bit of "trying to look inconspicuous" look to find the stash.

We are on a round trip, visiting caches in the area of Tokoroa and Mangakino, then back to Hamilton. We just decided that we will find our 2000th on geocaching's 15th birthday, next Saturday. We still need to find 77 before then!
This is our fifth for the day. We added a waterproof log in a plastic bag, but left the old log in its PB, both in the outer bag.
We are most impressed by Tokoroa's public art.

Had an early morning trip over to the Hawkes Bay for a meeting with a new client, so on that note set out exceptionally early to collect a number of caches on the way there and a few more on the way home.
other times that I have stopped by here there have always been a plethora of muggles but today in the rain I had the place all to myself. This was a quick stop on the way north at the end of a very long day.
Thanks for the placement

found today while on a bus trip from Auckland to palmy, stopped in tokoroa for lunch
After living here and playing around this statute for years, would not have suspected a cache to be here. TFTC
thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our way to Tokoroa, Putaruru and Te Puke ... a lot of nice caches, beautiful surroundings and lovely walks!
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
