haven't got time to properly look after this cache anymore - will archive and hopefully someone else uses the spot
A growing list of DNFs and a suggestion that there has been work done at GZ. krunchieskrew might want to check up on this one and the trolls
No luck with this one today. We checked both sides and all the crevices. Might need a check up
No luck here today.
The bridge looks like its had some refurbishment lately so hopefully the cache wasn't removed.

We're in Australia (from the U.S.) having a great, road-tripping/geocaching holiday!
This was a cache of convenience, as we happened to be in the area with some time to kill.
We approached this cache from an odd bearing, and therefore upped the terrain rating by two full points!
Thanks for the hint - it proved quite helpful - L.L. had exactly the right idea after reading it!
Beautiful views from up there... very nice indeed!
We''re having a huge amount of fun, and cachers like you help make it possible, so, Thanks!!

Found with Roogles!. We took a break from driving and decided to check for nearby caches. This one seemed like a reasonable walk and we started out. I don't know how many stairs was on the route Roogles! chose, but it seemed like 100! Once we arrived at GZ, it was a quick find. The walk up those stairs was hard, but the view was fabulous! We signed the log with our team name, Team SoExp. TFTC.
TheCatBandits family day out caching on this freezing cold rainy day. We went to the bakery before visiting here and enjoyed our lunch whilst enjoying the lovely view. Found cache no worries TFTC
Another great view.
Thanks for the stop here and little bit of history.

Attended a wonderful weekend event at Roonka "Let's Camp and Kayak". Reached my 2000th cache at this event and had such a ball with a great group of cachers. This cache was obtained during the weekend. PERFECT weekend.
This was a nostalgic cache for me as a long time ago- well not that long- this was the final to a Multi we had called Step-Up GC101PY - now archived. I'm glad someone else has placed a cache here. It appears that the cache itself has long gone missing so I replaced cache and log with an eclipse tin.

Sorry folks, couldn't find it either. Happy to replace if you let me know what kind of container it was
Read the clue, spent a while looking with 8 eyes, did not find. Thanks anyway. The spot is well worth a visit even without a cache!
Hunted around after climbing the lookout, to no avail. At least there is a nearby seat for lunch looking over the cliff.
We went down and back, over around down and back. Too cold for climbing the tower today. Thanks for bringing us here.
4th time we have crossed the Murray by ferry today. Our GPS wanted us to access this cache along the walking trail but a look at the maps suggested we could park a lot closer. Unfortunately we noticed a sign that pointed to a lookout so headed up there. Then we walked back down to GZ to see a perfectly good road only metres away.
The cache was quickly located and then we climbed to the top of the lookout platform to check out the views. Enjoyed watching the cows across the river walking through the water. They seemed very cautious on the very short crossing. Thanks.

Easy find. Great view over the mighty Murray with lots of active birdlife.

Found with the geo-crew during a cross country run from Morgan to Hay. Must spend a bit more time here when we are next in SA. Many thanks krunchieskrew
Luckily no trolls were about. A quick find after trekking up the track that tried the legs out from the ferry terminal. A tidy well maintained cache. Thank you.
A quick drive and find although we were a bit surprised that the cache was hidden at the one place out of all 4 corners that you are on view from the nearby houses while all others you are out of sight.
Cache #6561. TFTC krunchieskrew

Last day in the Riverland and picking up a few caches in the area as we make our way home

Today is day three of our trip away. We set off for Berri to spend 3 days caching the Riverland area, joined by earthlight and Gwen from The X-Trailers. This was a good opportunity to find (or DNF) caches while trialling out our new tent and camping accessories, gearing up for when we head off to the QLD Mega at the end of March. We started out in temperatures of 38ºc before that first evening brought light showers, although not enough to dull the 41ºc temp for day two. Day three was a much nicer day as the day cooled down to a nice 28ºc. We managed 200+ finds on this trip. On day two we found caches in 3 states in 1 day being SA, VIC & NSW, that was quite a highlight. No snakes were spotted, guess it was too hot for them but we had one roo bound slowly across the road in front of us. Next trip back here will be with the boat, there are plenty of river caches to hunt for and naturally all the ones we didn't have time for. This one was a fairly quick find for us after we realized the GPS wanted us to go the other direction away from the hide. This place has changed a bit since we last visited .
Unfortunately, there also seems to be an increase in the muggle population using the area as well [8)].
TNLNSL.
It's nice to be back and have the chance to take in the great views [^].
Thanks again Krunchieskrew.

CP was keen to stop here, which seemed to be no ordinary lookout.
A bit of development made the walking trails more accessible to the avid explorer and walker keen to observe the local sights.
I checked the local history while CP hunted the clue.
Thanks for the cache krunchieskrew

Great to see a cache here once again after the demise of the previous multi located here. Cache #2,064.
I have found that eclipse containers are very hard to get the log out of, and so they get destroyed quickly- as was with this cache.
I have replaced the Eclipse container with a similar sized plastic cache that should be easier to manage
I have also replaced the destroyed log book with a new one

Good hide. Went up the tower great view. As long as I did not look down. Love the TV aerials in Walkerie
A tricky little cache in a great place ! But this pair of grumpy little trolls found it TFTC
Ah. Tricky. Also needed to approach twice before spotting the hide. Nice place for a quick look over the river lands. TFTC
Another secret Waikerie spot that only a geocache can reveal
But I wasn't here to see the views
The only thing I was interested in was the ... ahem, ... underside of that bridge
And after missing out on finding the cache first time, I ended up taking a stroll to the top of the lookout for some fresh 'thinking air' and the view
My second visit to troll central was a bit more fruitful, or should I say 'cache-ful'
TFTC and views behind the Supermercado !!

I was using the phone to find this cache. The phone got confused, I got confused ... and a muggle found the cache for me.
Found while riding the BikeSA Annual Tour.
Thanks for the cache krunchieskrew.

Riding through the area on the Bicycle SA Annual Tour, travelling from
Adelaide to Renmark and stopping at various towns along the way with 200
other riders.
Riding day 4 from Morgan to Waikerie, a short easy ride only 50 km.
Have to beware of muggles with this one
An easy find

Like all good geocachers, we didn't rush up to the top of the platform.
It's just what you do!
Lovely views from down here
Found with the WAFF group - teams[blue] Waldron & Astro, four-fun and Freddo [/blue] on a weekend full of fun, dust, plastic, and clear blue skies. The boys used their combined geo-skills to locate and carefully replace this cache and some of the others nearby.
Clear skies to krunchieskrew from TeamAstro.

What an amazing view. This is why we love caching. TFTC. Somebody in SA has eaten a lot of eclipse mints.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped for a few days at Holder Bend we decided to head out and explore town. We started off visiting the tourist info centre then to the Cholcolate shop... Oh wow, oh wow. [:X]
Then off to explore the surrounds and some history. Took a few photo's here. Thanks for sharing.
Sadly there were a few DNF's today but such fantastic weather.
Thanks for the cache and for helping us explore the local area.
