Logs
It's close to a month since I posted my note and seeing I can't post a Needs Maintenance log on an already disabled cache, I guess the next step will be a "Needs Archive" log. I'll give it another week and see if the CO responds.
I was just checking the map and noticed this one has been disabled for a very long time. I'm just wondering what the CO intends to do with this hide?
The cache area has been damaged in the recent storms, so until I can get down to Rofe Park to maintain the cache (and possibly archive due to bad area), I'll have to disable it as I don't want anyone on a wild goose chase. It should be up and running sometime in the next week.
Apologies for any inconveniences,

Stopped at Rofe Park on the way to Crosslands Reserve. Made my way near GZ and realised that my chances of finding the cache were really none or Buckleys being as the area had basically been demolished by last weeks days of torrential rain and strong winds.
I made my way carefully over the squishy ground and around the fallen trees and bingo, the cache is still there!
The log is almost unable to be written on but I managed to leave my mark.
I don't expect this to remain as the council workers are slowly getting round the park clearing up all the storm damage.

#198 found it easy find but log was damp didn't have a spare ziplock bag to replace the log in. Signed & replaced as found
Quite easy. First looked at wrong tree then looked at photo and found it easily.
Decided to go on geo adventure with geo girlfriend at midnight. Didn't take too long to find but the geo spider guards were a little off putting. ;p
While here grabbed the second cache as well and found 2 Baseballs in the process. Yay. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Maintenance performed. The swaps and info page are now in zip-lock bags too. Now the sogginess should not come back.
#1379 (4 of 4 today)
Decided to head up north today before returning to visit my mother - wonder how many I can grab before I need to head back?
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
An obvious find when I arrived at GZ, but there were two elderly muggles in the nearby shelter. I'm sure they were suspicious of me, but I made both the grab and the replace quickly, so hopefully they're non the wiser.
Hopefully the phone call I took while completing signing duties was a sufficient smokescreen.
The log was quite damp, and I couldn't physically sign it, so I dried it while talking on the phone. By the time the conversation was over it was good to go.
What a production that one was!

This was a nice easy cache on our way back to the cross lands reserve where we were camping! Though the log has been severely water damaged and probably needs to be replaced as we where unable to write our names on the list! TFTC
Quick find after riding down on a pleasant Sunday morning. Logsheet a little damp - those mint tins not quite up to this hide. Thanks for placing!
A quick easy find. Interesting watching the setup for the big Christmas event this evening. I hope the storms pass quickly.

Nicely blended into the landscape. You'd never suspect it unless you were looking.
I was passing by here with Opa-Bob today, grabbing a few roadside caches along the way. He'd already collected this one on a previous trip through, but found a spot to pull up alongside the park so I could grab it. There was a huge school group just finishing in some sort of carnival or something just as we arrived, but I figured I could ignore them for the moment and headed toward GZ - once I got there, I realised I had no cover, and it was immeadiately obvious where the cache was hidden. In fact, I wasn't even at GZ before the camo was spotted, and i thought, "No way, no one would be stupid enough to put a cache right there like that" - I went over and gave the camo a kick and sure enough revealed my most hated cache container...I really couldn't believe what I was seeing - I quickly grabbed it and stood right there and signed it - by now hundreds of Muggles passing by had seen me, so I figured it didn't matter - it then took me a moment or 2 while I worked out which of the little bits of folded paper in the cache was the log - no, that's the cache note...that's a random receipt....train ticket....ah, log sheet. Signed it, then couldn't get it back in there for all the rubbish and what not - removed a few bits of rubbish for the bin, but not all of it, and squeezed the log back in. Replaced as found and returned to the car - I think the first thing I said was "I'm surprised that doesn't get Muggled 3 times a week". Thanks for the smiley geojo32, coz in the end that's all that matters, but this got my 'crap cache of the day' award. Sorry.
Just found my first cache took 5 mins to find not too bad for my first go ! Signed the log and left something yay!
Quick park and grab for the steak they are getting further and further away TFTC
It's pretty hard to ignore a roadside cache as you drive by, so naturally I made a stop here while travelling to Windsor via, for a change in scenery, Galston Gorge. This one proved to be a quick and easy find even with muggles around ... the camo hiding the cache from view was very much in view as I walked towards GZ, so I made a quick grab before moving to a nearby picnic table to perform logging duties.
Thanks for placing this cache, geojo32.

I've been avoiding 1½/1½s but decided one wouldn't hurt now and then. The last time I was here I was collecting frogs that Yurt had hidden here. Cache is fine but I wonder if won't get accidentally found and muggled . Anyway, thanks again grojo32.
Back and found it this time. Etched name in log book as only pen didn't work and left stamp at home as weren't planning on cacheing today.
Don't know how I missed it last time.

Log book replaced in a new bag. The cache should now be a bit more weather resisitent.
Got a feeling this one is no longer. Searched for about 30mins. No sign but their might be some trees missing as well.
The park was crawling with junior muggles today, playing all sorts of footy codes. Luckily none of them were near GZ, so it was a quick easy find.
We went looking for this after rofe rock, and I beat Geoson 1 and 2 to this one ) thanks again , lots of fun close to nannas with nannas dog
I introduced some friends to Geocaching today with this one, just a short walk from their home! They were completely amazed. TFTC!
Down the thin black line again this afternoon to visit some friends at Glenorie, couldn't past up on the opportunity to find a couple of caches on the way. Nice cache. Have to agree with past logs the plastic bag and container need replacing. TFTC
I'm pretty sure there used to be a cache here, almost in this very spot. Far enough away from a couple at a nearby picnic table that I could make the grab unseen. As Calypso62 noted this container won't keep the water out and the bag that someone has added is one of the bank ones with a hole in it so may not help that much if Sydney ever gets some decent rain. Thanks geojo32.
After finding #1 we rode around to #2. On approach it was clear where the container was likely to be, and this time Geokid9 was able to make the find. TNLNSL, then went to find some of the Munzees we hadn't already. TFTC
A quick detour up here after work to keep the streak going.
Good coords and hint led us to a fast find in fading light so we left #1 for another time.

I always thought there should be caches in this park, though I did find one some time ago not too far away in the adjacent bushland. I also think there were some Munzees here, and they may still be in place, but I just can’t get excited about them.
The rain eased-off for a brief period allowing me time to grab this one without getting too wet.
Thanks geojo32.

Nice park. Noticed from earlier logs it needed a zip lock bag so we put the log in a bag to protect it. TFTC
Thanks for the suggestion Calypso62!
Will hopefully get round to placing log in ziplock bag.

On a very wet day this area seemed to be fairly dry so we drove to the park and headed over to GZ. Although there were a lot of softballers on the oval, no-one was nearby so we were soon signing the log. I was surprised to find the unprotected log still dry. Thanks to geojo for the hide.

I drive past here most days so stopped to make the find. The coords took me straight to the spot. No muggles playing tennis today. I think you might have to place the log into a small ziplock bag as these types of containers are not waterproof. Thanks geojo32.

3/06/14. 7:15 AM. Cache #1591. I noticed this park on Sunday as I drove past, heading from the event in Galston to the Central Coast. I wondered at the time why there weren't caches here (I did attempt "Not a Hospital" before it was archived). Little did I know 2 new ones were here waiting to be published the following day! Of course as I was at work on day 1, I had to leave it until the day after that.
Easy park & grab; just had to time the grab around muggle walkers. Off to Rofe Rock next. TFTC }:)

Lots of muggles about but found it rather easy by geokids without being spotted.

I was just leaving the scene of my FTF at Rofe Rock when this was published. No one can beat me to this one I was sure. Drove to the other side of the park and went to a familiar spot - have found and hidden moveable caches here before. A quick find with good coords. Struggled to get the log out but then signed as *FTF* - two in a row. Four minutes from publishing to finding is my new record!
Thanks!
Thanks!
We had taken a little while to see this one published as the earlier ones had been a little too far away from us. After being out we saw this was still unlogged so decided to go and have a look. We parked as suggested and made our way to GZ where we made a quick find to discover we where 2TF. We completed the signing duties and re hid. We thought about going for the other one but then saw it had been logged already so decided to keep it for a spare day. TFTC
