Out this way to clear a few caches. Stopped by this one. Had a very thorough look around for this one but could not locate.
Out on a mission today, to collect as many caches as possible toward the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. With very few unfound local caches, a decent journey was required. Left at dawn and covered over 300km through the winding gravel back roads of Northland, passing through Twin Bridges, Donnelley's Crossing, Waipoua forest, Omapere, Opononi and Taheke, before the heavy rain finally set in. This heavy rain, combined with the sunset, put a halt to further searching, so had to settle in the end for 29 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.
Second stop was here. They even had traffic lights set up on the bend, so unexpectedly had muggles stopped and watching what this stranger was doing up the bank in the bush in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, despite a thorough search, nothing was found in anything matching the hint location, so with time marching on, flagged this one away for the first DNF today. Thx anyway

I tried for this one but gave up as the ground was very slippery form the overnight rain.
I am unashamadley after numbers at the moment so a trip to Northland with Vistra was planned, Saturday up to the Cape staying in Kaitaia then heading to Paihia for a late lunch event.
Quick grab on the road heading north after our minor excursion down a mini powertrail. This was a quick find after scambling up the bank and using the trees to pull me up to GZ. TFTC

I teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 for a weekend of caching around Northland. After meeting early in Whangarei, we then drove to Kaikohe via Mangakahia road. Parked across the road and made a quick find of the cache here. TFTC!

Out with the geohubby for a long drive to visit his dad. We stopped along the way to pick up some caches. The roads were very busy so we only managed to get 15 but all of them were found quite quickly. TFTC
Parked on the outside bend, traffic today on this Saturday, day after Waitangi Day, was almost non-existent! A short climb into the trees and I had the cache in hand. Cheers Fox 369.
Woo this took a while to find wasnt wearing appropriate GC clothing for the climb. I pass this place once or twice a year. Awesome to find some caches along our journey.
Wow this is one busy bend...muggles driving past probably thought we were puha picking lol. Trackables and geo coin dropped along this road in memory of our dad.
The gps goes crazy, therefore tried to navigate using my GC skillz to find this one. Hint colour is not a plant...
Out caching today with GraciesGPSfun. Picked this up on our way home. Definitely lots of bends around here. Thanks for the caches on this road

We thought to do this one on our way home as parking is better heading north. Quick find once gps coperated. TFTC.
Travelling home via back roads for a change and remembered there were a few 'still to find' caches in the area. Only time for one today. After a scrabble and rummage I still found my GPS to be 12m away from potential hiding places. Some earlier trampling of vegetation gave me a few clues to GZ but I still required a 'nudge' from BB. Got there in the end! Loosing my caching senses! Cheers!
Driving by so stopped in here. Found after a wee search and did notice only two other names on signed log at gz even thou more have logged it as found on web. Tftc
