After leaving the King's Canyon area we went for the Mereenie Loop and further to Alice Springs and of course we did look for some caches on the way. And we found several including this one. This original one gets a favorite pount from us.We enjoyed the drive and the different stops on the way.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
After a lovely time at Ormiston Gorge this was a nice surprise on the way out. The little bunnies decided to stay in with the air conditioning while Dad made the find and enjoyed the fun theme her. TFTC.
Stopped in on my way to Ormiston. Loved this cache, it brightened my morning. TFTC
I can see why this one has 77 favourites! Its early one from me too!! Thanks for the cache!!!
Great container. Found with SJG66 on a spectacular day spent checking out the West Macdonnell Ranges. TFTC.
No Market for Me!1.5/1.5 Regular Traditional Cache Terrific day with Bug and Co targeting Stuart's Pass to complete my 12th Loop! Went to Glen Helen Gorge as well, even though I've already done the cache there, but it was closed due to wildfires. Also learnt from American adventurers we met at Glen Helen's Gorge entrance that Redbank Gorge had a closed sign too. We went as far as Mt Sonder Lookout then back and tried Ormiston Gorge. Visited Serpentine Dam and Gorge and the Lookout while in the area.Thank you for the cache griffs90. Cute container!
A quick find with E .Road was closed so we only grabbed this one quickly and away we went .Awesome cache container .Cheers
A quick stop as we headed back to Alice to check into our digs
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

We had parked close to the main road and had ridden our bikes in. On our return to the car and caravan I set off first as was going to get the cache and my partner would go straight to the caravan as the day was getting on. I found the cache with ease and was hoping to make it to the caravan before him. But he rode past me while I was getting this cache. I liked the container, very cool.

Quick easy find. Love this container. Best I’ve seen so far geocaching. Dropped a trackable for someone to move along. TFTC
This is the coolest cache container we’ve seen! We’re travelling around, so we’ve picked up the TB to help move it along. Found with FredLuskan. TFTC
Really surprised of the container pretty good prizes insides-Sophie:):)

Spent the day travelling to the various sights around Glen Helen. On the way out of the Gorge saw.there was a cache. I had noticed the cattle yards and suspected that the cache was related to this feature. So drove in off the road and parked with the engine running and muggle friends sitting inside. Wandered over to GZ and after a short search discovered a great cache. Had to take it back to the car as I had left my pen there. We all had a laugh as I signed the log and took it back to the hide. Now the cache name made sense. Fave for the well constructed cache.

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to griffs90 from mogni

nice themed container here. quick find. fav point
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

@Davidwazza and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday in the infamous black jeep. We took a route through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. It was then onwards to visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuṯa (Olgas), Kings Canyon, and then drove the Red Centre Way aka. Mereenie Loop Road to see the Tjoritja (West MacDonell Ranges), calling in to see the various highlights. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges, before heading home in a more direct route through Palm Valley, Owen Springs Reserve, Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia, and finally Coober Pedy.
Today, we set off from Kings Canyon, along the Mereenie loop, making it all the way to Glen Helen Gorge

We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing
As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you griffs90 for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Thanks a lot for hiding and many greetings from Germany.
On our two month travelling trip through Austrialia, we are enjoying all the wonderful places and scenery. We will stop on the way to visit some nice caches as well. This one we could find in old MacDonalds farm!

After spending four days travelling up on my own from Adelaide, I met up with FeatherWaite in Alice Springs for a few days of travelling around and caching.
We visited various places in the West Macdonnells, including Hugh Gorge, then went out to Kings Canyon, up the Finke Gorge track to Hermannsburg, into Palm Valley, then back to Adelaide, taking a week in all. We saw, and camped in some fantastic places, although the late September weather was a little warm!
Another quick find. Thanks griffs90 for the cache.

Oh Gorgeous! What a lovely way to break up along days driving - with a smile on the face!
We were visiting from Tasmania and spent a night at Ormiston Gorge. We missed this cache on the way in, and were pleased that we stopped to find it on the way out - it brought a smile to our faces, not to mention a trek back to the car for the camera that we had carelessly left behind! TFTC

We woke up this morning at Glen Helen Gorge homestead to find another flat tyre so with no spares left after our trip across the Gary Junction Road from Marble Bar we pumped it up and headed off towards Alice Springs, stopping every few kms to pump it up. This didn't mean that we wouldn't stop and grab caches along the way.
As Diane hadn't seen Ormiston Gorge before this was a must stop off for us. As the cache page says this is the best in the West Mac's so on our back tot he main road we stopped for this cache and wandered off towards gz and we are happy to say that once there the cache was found very quickly and he cache page made a lot more sense.
We left the area with a grin on our faces and are happily leaving this cache a favourite point.
Many thanks griffs90 for the cache.
