Didn't find on 17/08/04. Ooops Red Face. one of the hazards of not updating the cache list in one's Palm Pilot is sometimes you look for archived caches. This one looks like it got washed away in the last flood, or muggled, or both. Good to see it has been archived [^].

Greetings from Geocaching.com

I noticed this cache while approving new caches in the area. It looks like your cache has seen better days. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever.

Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If another cacher is watching this cache and wants to help out with the reenabling of this cache please contact the cache owner to offer your assistance.

It may be possible that if this isnt done in 3 months after being temp disabled that an approver may archive it.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks,
embi

Not found by The ELTHAM Mob; had a pretty good search (40 mins) but couldn't locate the container. I was in the area of the photo by "Desert Dingo" so the maths was ok Wink

Forgot to log this non-find but we had no luck either, also was looking in the area Desert Dingo has a photos of.

Found at 11.30 after a 20 min search.
The cache was very well concealed and in good condition - although white in colour now.
We found the close to ground comment a little misleading.
An interesting area we had not visited before.
Our first find in 2003.
Left ????? and took pencils

Thanks Mark and Alex

[Found by Maya and Ray (The Nomads) at 5:30PM without any difficulty. The cache was very exposed. The exposure must have faded the container as it is now totally white. There have been many chance finds at this cache. Fortunately the finders have chosen to respect our game, some have even made a swap and commented on the idea. We swapped a Propelling Pencil and leads for the bicycle horn (ghastly colour, Greg). We concealed the cache much better when we left, but probably not where it was originally placed, I doubt it was placed where we found it.] Look in areas of the original cache colour [Our thanks to Mark and Alex.]

Found after a short search by Kristi and Darren. Planes around but no guns today. A nice walk in a nice area.

Thanks to BJ the fisherman who found the cache thinking it was a druggies stash but left the cahce in place with a note.

Found after a short search of the area. Lead astray by the clue ** container close to the ground ** which had me looking in the tree branches for awhile. The cache is in good condition. Took the earphones and left some Thai currency.

After our first success at Milo by the Yarra just before lunch, we thought a nice drive in the country would be good - and pacify the canine team members. Came to the cache the long way around (via Yarra Glen). The clues were pretty clear but we walked the full loop around the track for a bit of variety. Very scenic and lots of fisherpeople but no sounds of guns or aircraft.

At the site there was a bit of an argument between team members as to which side of the path to look so covered quite an area. Just about to give up when we saw it at about 4:30pm You've got to be in just the right place! Took the plotter pens and left a packet with two (new) golfballs.

Found this one at 2:05 this afternoon with not much difficulty. I think the cache should probably be rated Difficulty 1 and Terrain 1. None the less, it was an enjoyable cache and in a lovely area. Lots of noise overhead and nearby!

I took the batteries and left a set of digital earphones picked up at Adelaide Mountain earlier today. This was my fifth cache for today so far.

Thanks

Found by David & Caleb, forgot to check out the clues on the way in and had to go back to get them. The rain stayed away for this one. Cache wasn't big enough for what we had bought to swap, still had the batteries from Adelaide Mountain in my coat pocket, so left them for the Micky Mouse Viewer.

Found by Mary & David at 1440. No fishermen to be seen but a couple of dog walkers passed us and numerous model aircraft flew overhead. Took about 5 min to find the cache, still in good condition. Took two AA batteries, left an Australian Geographic water bottle carrier bag. Thanks Mark & Alex.

Found at 11.00AM after a short search. Our dog had a great time checking out all the rabbit burrows but he didn't manage to find any wildlife. No fishermen about today and no gunshots either. I guess thats one advantage of caching midweek. Swapped a bicycle horn for the bungee strap. Greg and Bev

Found at 10:35,nice and easy, the clearing morning mist and dew on the spider webs made this a pictueresque cache.
Took Xmas stamp and left Mickey Mouse slide viewer from Spring eternal

At last another cache in the eastern suburbs. Found this one no worries after a short search. I thought I'd be first, but apparently Sparkky got there before me. This should be called the Warzone cache, with the continual sound of gunfire nearby, and model biplanes doing aerial maneuvers above! I took the mini-briefcase, and left a candle and earphones.

Great location and an easy find, saw no rabbits but did see one field mouse.
Took nothing left batteries.
