Wow, how time flys. I can't believe it's been 2 and a half years since I placed this one out in the wild. A shame to see it disappear but what can you do. Thanx to all those who came looking for a smilie.
Cheers, monkeymaker

Ahh man. They have lengthened the guard rail and of course my cache has walked. I looked everywhere hoping but no it's gone. I loved that container too.
I will archive this one now.
Thanx everyone that came out and found it.

I searched here for about 5 minutes between passing vehicular muggles. I am pretty sure that I was searching gz as the cache title fit the location, but alas, today it simply was not meant to be.
Too good for me this time monkey maker.

I agreed to do some caches including tree climbing. The tour should be around 10 caches. That sounds easy. In the end we were 8 geocachers who did the challenge of finding 25 geocaches with unique D/T rating. We spend 14 hours of the day geocaching and it was such a fabulous day!
Out with a group of caches to achieve the 25 caches Unique D/T Rating Challenge. After about 11 hours we had found our 25. Great day but quite warm.
A quick find towards the end of a long day! Thanks monkey maker.

Nearing the end of the caching day - a quick find with a nice black container on a nice black surface. Oh!

Parking at GZ, it was quite apparent the reason for the name of this cache!
So found it quite quickly, nice artwork on this one!!

Heading home to get ready for the event this afternoon we made a slight detour to grab this one. As we drew near to GZ the name became clear. Nice cache, TFTC monkey maker.
Out with the Herbz's today and this was the last on the way home - Nice hide really liked the camo TFTC

A short walk & the cache was soon in hand.
It took longer to walk back to the Geo-beast.
Signed & replaced as found.

Next on the way out of this little estate was this cache. It looked like it shouldn't be to difficult, the biggest challenge was making the movements between traffic. Wait a couple of cars, grab the cache, sign the log. Wait a couple more cars and get it back in place.

Took the monkeys for a wander this morning. Thought we'd check on the cache and drop in a TB.

Our first group cache find.. Found by our 11 year old. Leaking roof's a good tip!
THE best ACDC album in my opinion
Thanks for the cache. The log is a little damp but otherwise all in good order.

With a choice of a couple of choices of places to search I gave the less likely one a quick glance and then set to searching the more likely place. Nice container
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
So with 4 days of caching and over 100+ finds under our belts so far, we've had a great time touring around caching and seeing new places Lovely to cache in the warm QLD weather as well!
Apologies for the somewhat generic logs- it's not easy remembering every single hide so far!
Thanks very much to all of the cache owners for their hides

Second day venturing around the Gold Coast region with specimenX and we were out caching once again. We had a very enjoyable day out and about.
Apologies to all the cache owners for generic logs however we enjoyed the day wandering around the Upper Coomera and Surrounds.
Thanks monkey maker for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Out with a great bunch of friends to finish this area of caches.
Mr GT54 was soon onto this one and the log was passed around to be found.

Wahoo. Time for some caching after paying my final visit for the week to see my Mum.
A quick park and grab for me once I had ascertained that nothing appeared to be living in the vicinity of the cache.

After taking the walk to find the bush caches in the area I had a bit of time to find a couple of other caches and headed to this one.
I found a convenient park around the corner and strolled back for a quick find. Luckily it was as the rain started to come down and I had to hurry back to the car before I got wet.

A great day of caching with Swellerfungus. Our original plan for the day had involved climbing a hill or two but with the weather looking unfavourable we tossed about a few ideas and initially agreed on a trip to the Gold Coast to grab some caches to fulfill various Jasmer, DT and old cache requirements as well as picking up some solved puzzle caches. The morning started at 5am in rainy conditions but by the time we hit the coast the weather had turned lovely and we both wished we'd brought our swimmers. As we picked up a few caches we realised they all seemed to be different DT combinations and our thoughts turned to chasing the 25 unique DT challenge. So totally unplanned and unscripted we started the countdown required, steadily progressing through the grid, slowed up every now and then by the odd DNF. After 14 and a half hours we had completed our 25 different DTs and picked up some great caches along the way.
We sidled up to this one like a couple of secretive Men In Black agents to avoid the attention of passing traffic. With appropriate timing we managed to grab the cache, sign our names and replace it before the next passerby. TFTC.

A long weekend offers a great opportunity to get out and about for some caching. The weather however had other ideas...or so it seemed. With a rain cloud over proceedings Seffnjarah opted to head out to collect some outstanding solved puzzles (some unsolved by me until the night before!), some challenge caches, some 'oldest 100 in QLD' caches, some Jasmer filling caches, some higher D/T caches, and ultimately some interesting caches. Shortly after starting we realised that our choices had given us a great start for the 25 Different D/T ratings in a day challenge (GC5C5PB). In all a fun and challenging day around the 'Dark Side' of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Not my favourite choice of music, but finding this as one of the last few in the D/T challenge was music to my ears indeed.
Thanks monkey maker.

This was a very nicely crafted container, and everything fell into place nicely once I spotted it.
I actually missed it on my first pass, doh. Thanks for the cache.

This was my third cache of the late afternoon and unfortunately it would have to be my last due to other commitments fast approaching. A nice easy find once again in the likely place. I really liked the cache container and its design here.
Unfortunately the actual log was rather damp, so I returned to my GeoCar with it to dry it out the best I could. I also gave the clip seal bag a good dry out and ensured it was well sealed before replacing the whole lot back in its little hidey hole. It should last a little better now. TFTC. TNLN. SL.

This was a quick good find, thank you. We took the Space Shuttle Borealis trackable. It does not seem to have been logged yet, but we shall send it on its way. Also Hannah's Colourful Creation was not in the cache. There are now no TB in this cache.
When the containers get bigger the potential number of hiding spots generally get smaller.
No problems finding this one at all. Swapped TBs.

Found it then had to wait to grab it hahaha tried a cache around the corner but to many cars so came to this one for our streak instead.

Find number 2 for Movember and a bit of nearby graffiti to check out as well.
It has been nearly a week so my recollection of the visit may not be 100% but it went something like this....
I decided to "shake a leg" after I had "Given the dog a bone" and go grab some caches. The geomobile making noises like "Hells Bells" and in it's own way was saying "You shook me all night long". I started my search and decided to "shoot to thrill" with the GPSR until I was "Back in Black". Some muggles flew past in their commodores yelling out various things as I searched. One older lady slowed down and yelled "What Do You Do for Money Honey" as I inspected the nearby fence. The more disturbing comment came from an unknown motorist who yelled "Let Me Put My Love Into You". At this stage I hurried up my search found the log book. A loud stereo made me look up as I re-hid the cache. As I looked at the passing vehicle, a bloke with a mullet looked back at me and proclaimed "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution". Thanks for the cache monkey maker and "Have a drink on me".

Find number 2019.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 2019...... The year 2019 is the estimated completion date for the Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia which is expected to become the tallest building in the world and the first to reach 1 kilometer in height.

A very quick find as we returned home from finding an Earthcache for Earthcache Day. Thanks for placing this one Monkey Maker. Geohubby spotted it before we were out of the car, so it was a mighty quick find and we were adding our signatures before we could repeat the title. Geohubby was impressed with the cache structure and the theme. Well done. [^][^]
Back in black I hit the sack, I been too long I'm glad to be back. Yes I am let loose from the noose... I enjoyed this quick find, and equally enjoyed the singalong that RPW cacher and I had after making the find. Cool container TFTC.
We are still heading home after attending a geo event down the coast. We missed all these new ones when published, so time to clean them up now. Sal made a quick find here and being Sunday there are no muggles around at all. Thanks for placing the 638th cache that we have found so far monkey maker
After attending a first aid course nearby, this afternoon I headed around to collect the few caches in this area in the company of T-Tech and Brother Colin. BC had all ready done them, so stayed in the car, but T-Tech came along for the search. I found this one in the first spot I looked. A quaint container TFTC, monkey maker

Love this album, it really brings back memories! A little fun fact about this album, it was the biggest selling heavy metal album ever, by 2002 it sold over 40 million copies. Considering that it was on vinyl and no internet for downloading, it makes it an astounding record!
Anyway, cache was quickly located and signed. Nice container

After work today I went looking for another cache as I have a streak happening.
Good thing there are a couple of new ones less than 500m from work.
So just the one today, the others can wait till next week.
I just followed the GPSr to this one.
Thanks for the cache.

We had another blank in the caching calendar today and Monkey Maker had kindly placed 2 caches not too far from us so they were my targets.
I wish I had known about them before they were published LOL!!!!
Congrats to Mick & Michelle again for the FTF!!!
Again the area was clear of muggles so I was able to stroll over to GZ.
I was amazed at quickly I found this one, I walked up and the GPS was spot on, I touched something and had the cache in hand in seconds!!! It took me longer to sign the log than find the cache!!!
Thanks Monkey M TFTC SL
