Placed in 2014 and found over 160 times. The Fruit & Veges around the loop are now pretty deteriorated, no longer water proof & generally quite gross - No longer bright, crisp and fun to find. A lot of new houses around the road now too. Time to archive the series....(cache has been removed)....
This series is new to me but having found it after tracking down a couple of reenabled horses I'm trying to get a few before going home. Tftc
Out on a mission to catch some horses.
Easy park and grab.
Found, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.

Some fruit & vegetables found while looking for horses.
It was that great looking horses head that we targeted today. The roaads took us all over the place, in the end we had found most of them. A few we did some maintenance on.
Fantastic Mountain scenery glimpsed along the road.

thanks for the placement, we have been loved travelling and visiting the roads of Christchurch and the many caches each CO has taken the time to place, thank you for taking the time to place and maintain them.
I wanted to get out of the house and round up a few caches nearby in the sunny afternoon, and I had a great time! TFTC!!
Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
After being in the North Island in Wellington area to hunt for historical cache and spending a few days at sea while finding bad weather without being able to take to the beach, here we are back in Chch, we decide to resume the trail already made in part two weeks ago , we reach Oxford and back.
Thanks for the laying and maintenance of this trail
Greetings from Italy

Getting a bit warmer now and glad the rain has stayed away. quick find. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc Team_Gaters & TheWanglers. Find # 3345
Today we enjoyed picking up caches from the lolly scramble trail, the fruit and vege trail, the cust trail and other various caches around the area. We found 50 caches altogether and had a great day. Caching with Injeanious and theBurnsy we signed the log books as JeJeBu to save time and space. Thanks to the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches! Sorry for the cut and paste logs.
It's been a slow couple of months for me and Jess.daphne, so we decided to team up with The Burnsy and get a whole lot of caches. We headed off to pick up more of the Lolly Scramble, Fruit and Vege, and Cust trails, signing the logs as JeJeBu. We had a great day and grabbed 50 caches. Our best day yet! Thanks to the COs for the caches.
Headed out for a day of caching with Mr. Kiwi, to celebrate my 30th tomorrow. We had planned originally to nail our 400th - but the effects of both recent celebrations and real life in general meant we decided to cruise through the lolly trail, fruit and vege loop and whatever else came our way. It was a great day out together, and we were grateful to the cache owners who take the time to set up and maintain their hides.
So to you all, TFTC!
So to you all, TFTC!
When we did the first caches of this series we decided to grab the rest on our bicycles. Today was a beautiful day and with all caches quick finds the breaks were shorter than expected (and needed by parts of our team). A great loop, thanks for placing them all. TFTC
With a few more days of holidays left we decided to head south again and find some caches we didn't have time to look for last week, plus some more off the beaten track. This was one of 52 found today.
Thank you to all CO's who made this possible.
Thank you to all CO's who made this possible.
Our recent multi day Canterbury cache raid was so successful we decided to have another one before the holidays finished. Again we got stabbed, prodded, pricked and scraped by the variety of hedges the region is so famous for. And of course we can now hold our breath a lot longer. A skill well worth developing to avoid breathing in part of the road surface every time a vehicle passes. Just over 200 finds were logged this time and a great time was had finding the caches with a variety of shapes, sizes and placements. But for the Pumpkin, that is disabled, we have completed the series. The containers were fantastic. A fav. Thank you Team Gaters
#12126. We included a number of F+V caches in today's loop. This one was tricky because a muggle over the road was mowing part of the berm. Troodles carefully positioned the car between the likely hiding place and the muggle, and then the muggled turned his back to us to mow the next strip I scooted out and retrieved the cache. Nice container. TFTC!
StreetWalker's streak is still going strong, so we decided to head out south west of Rangiora this afternoon and find just some of the many caches in the area. With the 30 plus degrees temperature (according to the car's dashboard display), we were keen on finding drive bys only as we didn't want to exert ourselves too much. Lots of choice in this area, with plenty of Horses, Fruit and Veges plus some others to keep us busy for a few hours.
I think this must be the first F&V cache we have found and was impressed by the cache containers in the series. Very well done.
I never buy ripe avocados because the "squeeze" test done many times results in bruised fruit. Best to buy unripe and let them ripen unmolested in the fruit bowl. TFTC.

Always fun. Out and about with sister Team Welsh on our South Island geocaching holiday. T4yc
Out and about with Pagenz prior to the event nearby and thought we would pick up a few roadside caches. Didn't enough time to finish off all the fruit and veg so had to make do with an avocado. TFTC
Couldn't find it. I saw a plastic bag tied to a tree which I thought pointed to something but I couldn't find anything around it.
Came out with wee dude on a fruit and vegetables maintenance run.
Straightened out log. New plastic bag. All good.

Quick find. #899. Thanks for this series of fruit caches. Located seven in the area this afternoon.
Out and about today in the hope of a personal best. The first of this series. Loved all of the containers, thanks for placing

Out for some Mega caching with Kyzabra, Jinta29, Gunnie69 and Ghostgums.Saw some beautiful countryside today and had a blast caching. Thank you %owner for placing and maintaining this cache.
Kyzabra and I headed over for the Christchurch Mega from Perth, WA. Today we were joined by The Green Geckos today and we targeted some of the larger series around this area.
We had a fantastic time caching in the cooler climate and with no fear of snakes or other nasties! Christchurch is my old home town but I did not know about caching when I lived there so it was fun exploring the City with a different objective.
We were glad to grab the smiley on this one and we replaced the container as found. Thanks Team_Gaters for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
This is my find #4415 and find #72 today.

A caching expedition that has been months in the planning. Jinta29 and I headed over from Perth, and today we met up with the GreenGeckos again for a final day assault on NZ caches.
We have had a ball over here. Personally my first trip to NZ. The cache owners have been great and Ive enjoyed meeting people aling the way.
i apologise in advance for the generic log.

[green] Out with Hanknstone, Haydn.seek and thestepahine on an awesome 200+ day. We managed to get 210 caches in 11 hours, an average of 3 minutes each. There were a few awesome caches out there, but mostly it was a blur. Thanks to all the cache owners, and my apologies about the cut and paste!

Hanknstone, Haydn.seek, the Seagnoid and I had a challenge of doing 200 caches in a day. We started at 7:30am and finished around 8:00pm with a total of 200+. Apologies for the copy and pasting of the logs but there were so many we found that it would take so long to write them all up individually! Thank you for the find.
The next on our 210 run finding caches for the day with our team of four- HHSS. Working as a team each doing diff. roles we were able to speed up the find rate quite well and we managed to do about the first 100 with no Did Not Finds but after that the distances increased and the find rate dropped but we still managed to finish the day with 210 cache. The seagnoid has planned etc our route so it was all efficient Thank you to The Seagnoid for this pre work and thank you to the different cache Owners for these great, interesting caches. I just loved the huge chuppa chup and all the veges and fruit. . Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.

I came back to Christchurch for Mega 2015. Many for a great time and of course the cache

Of all the places I've travelled in New Zealand, North Canterbury is definitely a favourite, and I would always find myself returning to what has become my home away from home, Rangiora. So imagine my delight when the 2015 NZ Mega was announced for Kaiapoi! Registration was bought, flights were booked, travel buddies were found, and catscatscats22 and Gaz'n'Kab were set.
With just over a week here, there was so much we wanted to do in such a short amount of time. Thankfully, my Australian comrades were very much used to driving long distances, so the idea of driving 4 1/2 hours each way to Dunedin and back the same day wasn't out of the question. And when that trip includes geocaching, my first ever wherigo, castles, pukekos, burgers, getting shouted at by crazy ladies, eating takeaway in a New World carpark and really, really steephills, I think we can all say it was worth it.
The Mega itself was great, giving me a chance to catch up with familiar faces from both Australia and New Zealand, as well as picking up some great caches in the area. We were joined by two of the younger GHIJKGardner lot for an attempt at the Geobingo, which took us to some fantastic places, and me to some very familiar ones!
Another day trip, this time to Akaroa, had us meeting with a friendly cat in a fish and chips shop, lots of sheep, pukekos, very sudden changes in weather, and fantastic views. Throw in another trip to Hanmer Springs, catching up with family, a very wet walk through a forest, pukekos, a 12 hour delayed flight, $8 coffee voucher compensation, and more pukekos, and you've got a fantastic trip with fantastic people. Until next time, New Zealand!
Thanks for helping make this trip, Team_Gaters

We headed over to New Zealand for a trip around the South Island, to visit the NZ Mega 2015 and Christchurch, and to explore more of this beautiful country. We were joined by catscatscats22 who had spent some time in the area before, and made for great company This trip was full of everything, we explored Christchurch, Hanmer Springs, Dunedin, and Akaroa all whilst managing to find a heap of caches along the way This one was next up for us today, so we pulled up alongside GZ, and after a quick search of the area and we soon had the cache in hand and added our names to the logbook [^]

Our team for the Mega weekend was signing as VYV (Vamber, Yorkshirekiwi83 and Vistra). we found quite a few in the short space of time we were together, where I can I will make comments about the cache. We had teamed up back in Auckland and had been busy planning what we were going to target and in what order, of course plans changed even more so when we were down here, but that is part of what makes it fun and I had a great time over the weekend, thanks to all the CO's for placing.

Day 3 in Christchurch and I again teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 and vamber for another big day of caching. We signed the logs as "VYV" to save time and space on the logs. We made an early start to the day as we knew we would be going for 200 caches. We started with the Lolly Scramble caches (which we had begun the night before) and made our way up to Oxford, before returning to Kaiapoi and working on the Horses 101 series, finding a number of other caches along the way. Apologies for the generic logs, but thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Never having been out of Australia before, this was a very exciting trip for me
Today was a good day with caching, pathtag trading and a convoy of New Zealand (fire-mansam & Fuzzyfruit), Victorian (TR! and Snap Happy) and South Australian (parislaura, Team Jacob, Tomboy711, The Travellinbees and I) sharing fun and laughs [^]
Today's tally was 34 cache finds, 1 Mega event attended and only 2 DNFs
What a wonderful thing is a Mega! Seeing fellow geocachers with their flags on driving around town, tooting at those who are at caches and meeting many new people
We made it out to do some of this series and laughed lots at many of the cache hides
