Good to see old faces. Thanks to the outgoing committee. Welcome to the new committee.

My geodad and I attended. We live close to Carlingford so it was very easy to get there.
Some of the films were funny.
Picked up a TB to move it along.

Attended the meet and greet with the geo wife. First time with Geocaching NSW and joined up today. We enjoyed judging the videos and to catch up with some familiar and some not so familiar faces. Thanks for organising the event.....Geocaching NSW. Grabbed a TB and saw a few others including On the Run. Signed the log.
What a turnout! Great to see many faces, new and old, and catch up on all things caching. Well done getting the GIFF judging again too. Thanks GCNSW.
It was good to be part of this well attended event. The short films added some variety and laughs, and it was great to catch up. Thanks to those who have agreed to take on the official positions.
The word AGM has negative connotations for me. But this was different, a very efficiently run meeting kept to schedule with no side tracking. Thanks to all the committee for a successful year. I enjoyed the videos I saw but had to run off early to a family reunion.

Fun way to earn my 900th cache Really enjoyed watching the geocaching videos ...will be interesting to see which are the winners! TFTC GCNSW, see you at the next event
This was my second AGM, and I was impressed by the turnout. Thanks to the committee for your work over the last year, and congratulations and good luck to the newold committee. I was looking forward to the GIFF videos, which again did not disappoint. Afterwards I stuck around for lunch and some geochats before heading out for some solid caching on the way home (have to take advantage of leave passes!) TFTEC
I was surprised at all the new faces here today, plus a lot of my 'old' favourites. My thanks to those who put up their hand to fill the committee positions.
Thanks to the Committee for all the work that has been put into developing Geocaching in NSW for us all to enjoy. A big thanks to those who are continuing to work for us and the new committee members who are going to assist.
After the AGM the film presentation was interesting and provided a different idea of how Geocaching is observed by others. It was great to see so many people join this section of the meeting and show their support for Geocaching NSW. Then it was time to share with new cachers and have a chance to put faces to names.
"On The Run GC3720" made an appearance and is going to vanish into the wild this week.
Visited a group of trackables.

What a turn out for this event. I really enjoyed catching up with so many people today and meeting quite a few new faces. Over the coming twelve months, I'm looking forward to working with the other members of the committee to enhance geocaching in NSW.

I enjoy this event. You get to sit down in air conditioned comfort, on a chair, eat food, drink coffee, watch movies and talk non stop geocaching. Too bad I had to leave early. Wow so many new cachers I hardly recognised the old timers.
3/08/14. 10:30 AM. Cache #1743. The 2nd AGM in a row for Yelyac & I but the turnout this year was massive; it just goes to show the increasing popularity of our game. Great to catch up with all the familiar faces for more good geotalk. Another great batch of films to review, too. And thanks to wazza9 for bringing "On The Run" along for so many of us to find. Congrats to the Committee on your re elections/elections and thanks for running it all so smoothly. And now I get a 4th souvenir! TFTE }:)
What a great turnout there was this year and good to see all the other cachers that entered at the completion of the AGM - Hopefully next year they will all be members. Thanks to the committee for the work done in the past year and for the good things to come.
I didn't think I'd make it htis year, but a couple of competing plans aligned in the end. Turned up with son Jeremy, but sadly we couldn't hang around for the film festival. Great to catch up with familiar faces, and meet some new ones.
best wishes,
Wal
best wishes,

going to our 2nd AGM I saw many more familiar faces than last time knowing way more people than last time. I very much enjoyed this event and thought that the films were great.
First in the AGM log book, so will try to be first on logging an Attended.

Enjoyed watching the entries in the film festival. Bought ourselves a couple of pathtags, and logged the movable cache "On the run".
A good opportunity to catch up with the nsw-geocaching- members, it had been an interesting meeting (cheers to the new elected board, it had been the fastest I ever attended one) and compliments for the film-festival! Had a good chuckle!

Attended the meet and greet event after the Annual General Meeting had concluded. Thank you to the committee members for your service over the past 12 months and congratulations for those who were re-elected or newly appointed for the coming year. Getting to vote on the finalists for the Geocaching International Film Festival again this year was certainly an honour and good fun. Great catching up with many New South Wales geocachers too. Thanks For The Event Cache Geocaching NSW and looking forward to the exciting events and activities planned for the year ahead!
Nice to catch up, enjoyed the movies, and YES found that LOST CACHE on the way home.
It was great to see and vote on the videos. Loved 'Le muggle' one! (we've all done that!). Dropped some TB's, found some gnome caches and discovered some more TB's. Thanks for this great event, nice to see some familiar faces.
A very well attended AGM, fantastic to see so many enthusiastic people joining in.
Many thanks to the Geocaching NSW Committee, look forward to another productive year.

A very good turnout this year, we got moved to the larger room but luckily at the same price as the small one. Nice and quick with the formalities then on to the film viewing. And afterwards a few people hung around for lunch and a chat. Great to catch up with geocaching friends I have met before as well as meeting some new faces, some of who I have only known through facebook up until now.
IM GOING THERE TOMORROW .... see you soon ..

It's been a while since I have attended a get together. Life gets in the way sometimes. I was pleasantly surprised to see the numbers there. A vast difference to the 10-12 when we started. Fantastic effort. Congratulations to the new (old) committee elected unopposed. Keep up the great work.
Attended my very 1st Geocaching event this morning! Joined the NSW GC Association and met a few local more experienced cachers. Also a great way to log one of 'The 7 Souvenirs of August' from GCHQ
Attended my very 1st Geocaching event ever this morning! Joined the NSW GC Association & bought the shirt to celebrate. Also met quite a few more experienced local cachers & had my static TB available to be logged - not sure if anyone noticed the one on the back of my car outside Also a great way to log one of the '7 Souvenirs of August' from GCHQ!
The hippy went yippee with the first to find. I wish these things had been tattslotto tickets with 2 in a row. At least I had been at the event for longer then 2 minutes this time.
However I was late again after getting lost on the way. I had hoped to attend the agm so an apology there. Was interesting to see the short films and catching up with a few people and for once I could actually remember some caches that people where talking about.
Thanks to the association and those that attended for enjoyable morning. I just wonder if your trying to kill me with all this chocolate.

Well that went well... and geez what a turnout. Thanks to the outgoing committee and welcome to the new faces! I'm off for a few weeks but we will catch up soon. The film festival votes have been counted and sent off to Groundspeak... winners will be announced soon!
Thanks to everyone who came and the continual support of the Association. We look forward to another productive year.
Dont forget to nominate for "Geocache of the Month" each month and get the best caches you've done recognised. If you'd like t help out at any events or have an idea for things you'd like to see the Association get involved in, drop us a line for a chat!
Cheers all, Zal

All set for tomorrow. For the first time we have clothing available if anyone wants a shirt they are now in stock rather than needing to be ordered. I did a pick up from Nowra on a work trip last week!
Great to come and meet up, get some hints and see both old and new faces.
Missed the first few funny videos... Do these go up on YouTube or Vimeo later?
Thanks for the event!

This was a great meet and greet to earn my Socializer Souvenir. As I am not a member of Geocaching NSW, I arrived when the film festival was already underway. Even though I missed some of the videos, the ones I did see were highly entertaining. It was great to finally meet celtical and maorifiedaussie plus catch up with dkmacca. TFTE.

I have managed to clear the diary, so will be there; I look forward to some more amusing and bizarre movies!
I look forward to attending my very first Geocaching Event! I'll only be there for the M&G part as I'm not a GC NSW Association Member ... yet. See you soon
Yes maorifiesaussied, you can bring your grandson to the meet'n'greet. We look forward to seeing you there.
Just a reminder that only members of GeocachingNSW are permitted to attend the AGM part of this event. Once the meeting formalities are over, the event will be opened up for any geocachers to attend.
If you are bringing any trackables to travel on, please "drop" them into the event listing. There will also be a tray for "Discovery Only" trackables. With these types of trackables, the owner wishes to hang on to them but is happy for other geocachers to inspect them and "Discover" them through their codes.
The GeocachingNSW Committee is looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.
