Having to log this as a DNF. Had eyes on the cache but didn't have the appropriate PPE to retrieve I'll be back for it more prepared.
Having played on the nearby sporting facilities frequently I found myself having a casual look around on sports days. This time I finally found it and laughed at how close I was to it the whole time!
TFTC! Great to cross this one off

Nearly gave up due to heavy muggle traffic. Read previous log, who suggested reading previous logs. Spoiler allowed us to find it fairly quickly and retrieve and sign without any muggle even knowing.
Looked all around where the coords put me, for nothing
Resorted to reading previous logs and bingo

After a quick search cache was in hand, thankful for the climbing assistance. Out with Tigtog08 for a caching morning. Tftc
Well i had a really good look around the structure today and eventually found the cache. Good little spot. TFTC 3LG.
In the area for the lights but had some time for caching too. Was not expecting much after the 2 DNF's but luck was on our side. Thanks
In the area with Csaba! and SupaOrange. Caching, dinner and lights. I had to look on with this one. Turtle Out
Killing time before it gets dark. Found with Csaba! and SupaTurtle. Tra La Laaa
attempt 1. A truck rolled to a stop. I walked over to gz. My damn phone couldn't decide if gz was the tree or the nearby man made structure but it did favor the tree. I searched the tree and turned up nothing. Then i started to search the building. One of my concreters rode by and interrupted my search and had a talk for the rest of my fatigue break.
Messaged the co to confirm if i should look at the tree again or the man man structure. Got a quick reply.
attempt 2. A truck rolled to a stop again. I strolled over and had a look in peace this time. gz was empty of muggles. quick find.

No luck. I know it’s staring at me. I am following past cachers who say GPS out by about 12m.
Thank you for this mighty challenge.

I texted a Geo- friend and thanks to their directions the cache was soon in hand.
This cache is not for shorties! I was definitely looking in the wrong area.
TFTC and Merry Cache-mas!

Thanks for the cache Lib. Simple yet tricky. GPS had me some distance away. Nice tennis courts here. Hey I have an idea, why doesn’t someone create a tennis court series. It would go off I think!
Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, and with jesswrigley wanting a rest day at home, I decided to head up to the hills to do a couple of OTD series that hadn't been found for some time. These were the March OTD series, followed by the November OTD series, just around Mannum.
In addition, I stopped off at various locations to run along the trails and in reservations/parks to do some fitness. I enjoyed the journey out and about, and made stops in Charleston, around Tungkillo, Palmer, and Mannum. Mannum was a great little spot next to the river, and keen to return in the future to explore around here further.
It was a cloudy, coolish day that helped provide solo motivation at jumping in/out of the car so frequently.
This was a weird one. I initially searched the usual spots, and with not having luck there, checked the other side of the fencing. I searched all around, and I was pretty confident to where it would (or should) have been. Still not having any luck, I made a PAF to a previous finder, who confirmed my suspicions. Another look both visually and through touch, and no cache was located. Sigh, it may still be there, or it may not, so will watch and see. Thanks anyway 3LG aka. LiB.

Yesterday while speaking to brisal5, he mentioned a walk along the Amy Gillett bikeway between Charleston and Woodside and as I hadn't done many of those caches, I asked to join him[?][^]
Rex and I had a sad drive through the Cudlee Creek, Gorge Rd and Lobethal area to Woodside as we saw how much damage had been done by the fires [xx(] along one of my most travelled motorobike ride routes and it sure does not look like it used to [xx(]
During the walk with brisal5 he replaced 7 out of 11 geocaches as they had been burned! [xx(][^][:X]
By the end of the day I had 22 smileys from 1 attended Welcome TDU Cachers 2020 event and 21 cache finds. Sadly there was also 2 DNFs as a result of the bushfire in the area [xx(]
Although that was really 3 DNFs but 1 was my own cache and Mogni kindly [:X] gave me a spare container so that I could replace my burnt Creek Views cache [^]
I also managed to finally find 2 previous DNFs and so that made me smile even more [^]
I needed a loo stop and thankfully the driver today knew these facilities were here [:X] so I got some relief and a smiley too

You can see the burnt hills from here, but happy to report that this one is safe and sound. Hasn’t been visited for awhile, but all is good. TFTC.
My GPS put me out in the open so was bracing myself for a long expanded search. Luckily some of the previous logs provided me a clearer starting point and the cache was promptly found. tftc
Had talked to gridge98 at an event during the week and he asked me if I wanted to go caching on Friday and as I had nothing else to do I said yes. It's always good to go caching rather than sitting at home doing other less interesting things. [^] We decided to meet in Stirling and cache around the hills as we both had plenty of caches that we hadn't found.
We looked and looked...and I was lucky to have the much taller gridge to look in a spot I thought might contain the cache...and it did.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

This one took a bit of searching, finally JJ52 suggested a hiding spot and it was right.
A quick discussion the other night on a caching day out with @JJ52 for today, we decided to go up into the hills as we both had quite a few to find. A great day out in some areas I had never been, we cached around Uraidla, Oakbank and Nairne. A total of 44 finds and 2 did not finds for the day. Thanks to the Cache owners for their placements.

Quick find while passing through the area on our way to hahndorf with snakepiters from qld. Tftc
Out on a caching run today with ilook4geo. Our main focus was the month of June, but some other caches were added to the list as we were in an area which had so many to choose from. This was a bit more difficult to find as there was nothing at GZ. So we let experience and logic take over and then made the find. Thanks go to 3LG for contributing so many caches to the caching game.
Z had honey on toast for breakfast. D had Manuka honey popcorn at lunch. Seemed appropriate to get the honey cache today. Job done. Finally changed that blue face to yellow. Tough get! TFTC.
Found this with CherryRose who had found it previously. GPS out by about 12 metres. TFTC TNLNSL

Driving past and needed a rest break a special saw the conveniences close by so decided to grab a cache as well. Wandered over but the coords for GZ made no sense. Checked a couple of spots but soon worked out where I had to search. Checked some more logical spots that matched the DT rating and soon put fingers on the cache. Log was damp but usable. Signed and replaced.
Continue on the journey refreshed.

Tftc this one took way longer than it should have mainly cause of not wanting to put fingers into cobwebs.

Out for a day trip with Ozibags today. Having completed a nearby trail we were on our way back home and picked this one up along the way. Found this one in a nice dry tucked away place. TFTC 3LG
I think we as Human Beings really underestimate the Importance of Honey Bees on reading the Geocache Description . I absolutely LOVE Honey... I always have since I was a wee tacker Those naked, ancient honey collecter ladies rading a wild bee hive would have suffered with more lumps than the Bungle Bungle ranges in Northern WA .
Out on a HUGE Caching day (30 finds with only 3 DNF's) I grabbed this one at 06:40 on Friday 3 March 2017, (whilst on a mission to grab me the Lucky's series to get that "Gold" 4 and a half Star D Multi [^] by 3LG) The cache and its contents are all good and dry [^] TFTC 3LG

PAF was needed on this one. Coordinates put me about where the chair is out the back of the shed. Once that was corrected, I searched low, medium and high before resorting to the phone. Seems I needed to look a bit further. Let my fingertips do the searching and found the cache soon after.
Thanks for the cache 3LG. Found on 27 Feb 2017 at 12:29 pm. Find #3971.

With the year winding down I decided to head out to Woodside and Verdun to grab some more caches to go towards my 1000 for the year total. A quality day was had with a total of 31 finds being made. I was lucky to complete most of the Sporting Memories trail, hopefully I shall be back to grab the last few

Out for a drive with Purrfect Di and *Alex*,
This weird fact cache was high and dry and safe, no bees nearby,
but we did have a swing in the playground.

Last one for us today on the Amy Gillett bikeway but had a lot of trouble with our coordinates here. Still managed to find it with Wal & Ol after picking up a clue from earlier log. tftc!
After a lengthy search, we thank Mary for her earlier advice... and it moves! At last, a Weird and Cool success today! TFTC
Found on way home from Banking in Lobethal. Quick fond after reading past logs. TFTC TNLNSL
Lots of hiding places here. Took a few minutes but found it in the end. Nice playground near by too.
Found with Foax and KK'U' on a beautiful Sunday. Have been through this area so many times and not stopped. Glad we took the opportunity to today!

Out for a lovely yet chilly Sunday Drive. We regularly stop here to use the facilities but this time we also found a cache.
Unfortunately we couldn't find this cache on our way through this morning. We searched both the inside and the outside of the shelter but came up empty handed.
""Sneaky Squeaky" Woz ere" A quick but enjoyable find. From Me To You From SQ72 T.F.T.C
The sun had set before we headed off for caching today. Hence caching by torchlight was the challenge tonight. Despite accurate, this cache took some time to find as there were many possible hides within the limits of accuracy of our GPS units. Eventually the cache was located.. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks brisal5 for the cache.
When we arrived at GZ and started looking around we thought it could take a while to search in all the possible spots and we were right. A nice park with toilets conveniently nearby. TFTC
I blame the metal of the building for the aimless wandering about before the prize was found..TFTC
Stopped here in the shade while riding along the bike track.
Luckily a quick find.
Nice, neat little park.

Honey is also a great remedy for a bee sting (Unless you are allergic to stings) A little on the sting site and cover for about 30 minutes.

Had parked nearby for a change of wheels and noticed this was quite close.
Walked much too far before getting to GZ and then spent far too long before making the find.

Mr Tardis headed out here for a quick grab at lunchtime. However it took quite a few minutes of searching here and there until I finally found the cache's hiding place.
Honey: Mini Tardis's favourite thing to put on toast.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Out and about with Mrs Aussie M&M and collecting caches on the way. A quick move, stretch and grab was just what the doctor ordered.
