eekend in Sorrento on the cusp ofthe Covid-19 shutdown...out for a stroll and enjoying the history of this beach side village / playground. A very clever hide... TFTC
This on could be found at the second try.
First we didn't find. Then we had a lovely lunch at the nice restaurant close-by, and afterwards I found some nice caches of this series there.
It seemed, meanwhile I had a feeling for the owner's ideas, so I returned and had a second look here. After a short search I held the nicely hidden box in my hands.

We looked through the comments and and we couldn’t relate to what they were saying. I feel that the place could have been redone and taken it with them.
I was searching for a while in the rain. Lucky my geo friend Mettafore saw my car, knew what I was doing, came to my aid and found it for me
Like all on the bay trail series this ones a real goodie! Thanks BB&N & NB, you guys rock!

I like this one very clever still out here on this glorious day thanks for placing
SOOO many people at the beach today . I reckon we could out do Sherlock Holmes with Sluething !! Good hide TFTC
Got dropped off at Sorrento and our aim was to walk back towards Rye trying to find as many caches as we could. This was our first cache for the day - a quick find as there was nobody around. Thanks for this series.
Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass and Alansee, at 13:25. Signed as MAP (Maccamob, Alansee, Pprass). Our second day on the Bay Trail. Much better weather today, having only one very brief period with a few spots of rain. Still quite windy, but we had a good run with all the BTR and BTU caches finished, and a few other caches added for good measure. As happened yesterday, quite a few of the caches took us quite a while to find, but we seemed to do better as the time passed. A nice quick one here. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Found at 1:26 PM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob & Alansee.
A nice shady spot here. Cache quickly spotted and signed MAP
Thanks BorisB&Natasha
Feedback: It is not a camouflaged fat black bison! It's a mint tin.

Had a great caching day today with pprass and maccamob. We found everything today that we could have and only had one real PAF. It was a combination of great hides, some good finding, and sheer persistence!
Juggle hubby found this one for me as the phone his had me many meters away should gave trusted my caching brain. Many thanks for the cache. Beautiful day to be out.
Out on day #2 of a caching blitz in this beautiful weather with AdrianB and Kristy’s Adventures. GPS was a little all over the place with the tree cover. Used the clue to find likely GZ. The area is blocked off because of tree trimming but still accessible. TFTC
I was back down the peninsula today to try a few more of the Bay Trail caches. Always a fun mixed experience of appreciation for great hides and frustration of the ones that are just to good for me. Having braved the business areas nearer to the ferry this was much easier in a nice quiet spot that I could park close to. Thanks to the explicit hint it didn't take too long though it is typically neatly hidden away. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and a great series in a lovely part of the world BorisB&Natasha and Nut bear.
I picked our friends up at the airport who were travelling over from Sydney and headed down the Mornington Peninsula for a fun weekend break. We got an Airbnb in St. Andrews Beach and thought we would explore the area.
the weather was great a little breezy but the sun was shining so a great day to explore and find some caches.
Over the weekend I found 12 caches and one did not find
This morning we headed ton Sorrento and grabbed a few caches along the beach. This one took a few minutes to find, it was well camouflaged and nicely hidden.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

Clever hide - took us as a little longer to find gz because of tree cover. Found with KS. TFTC
Thank you BettyBoo for replacing the log for me. It was very much appreciated
We headed down to Portsea for a weekend of caching and cycling with Robmc and BettyBoo3747.
Today we headed from our accommodation in the other direction to tackle the bay trail towards Sorrento.
We all managed to arrive from different directions and eventually somebody looked and found the cache.
Thanks for contributing to the fun BorisB&Natasha

Day two with The Morris and BettyBoo3747 in Portsea. We all jumped upon our deadly treadlies and headed off to do some of the BTR and BTU trails. Lunch in Sorrento, then a few odd caches later in the day. Beautiful weather.
Not sure who designed the foot/bike path, but it goes all over the place along this coastline.
Mr Morris and I went down the wrong spot just to see BB disappear up the other side!
We found the cache then BB, and replaced the log.(it was chockers)
Thanks, Robmc.

#16011. Robmc and I are spending a couple of days down here at Portsea . The Morris arrived to join us yesterday and today we are riding from Portsea to Sorrento and gathering up some of the BTR and BTU series. A lot of hard work before and after a pleasant lunch at Sorrento watching the ferry arrive and depart on a smooth millpond today.
A nicely concealed container but the log sheet was full. This was replaced today so all is good here. Thankfully an E-bike does a great job of roaring out of here.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Nice quick easy find on the way home from work. Needs a new log book as this one is full, so couldn't sign our name
GPS well off here, if you get to the beach, you’ve gone too far. Good hide.

Down on the Peninsula for a week's holiday and doing some random caches along the Bay Trail. After having fish and chips on the foreshore at Sorrento for lunch we walked around the path to find this cache. While Mrs Pooky was following the GPS all over the place it was Mr Pooky who made the find with the help of the hint. TFTC.
Picking a few of these up on our way back to the city. More nice camo here.

A good hide, not sure I would have made it without the clue. The log book is close to being completed, there was about 4 spots left.
Hubby found it after I looked in the very spot. Very clever concealment. FP from me.
A bit too many muggles around as it’s a lovely beach day today. Will try again on a cooler day!
Collecting a few more in this excellent series having just disembarked from the Queenscliff ferry. Another of your excellent hides. A favourite point for it. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
Post-Mega caching on the Peninsula (well, actually, catching up with logging!) and cruising around. Unfortunately the weather has been a bit dicey today & curtailed my enthusiasm; found this on the way back to my accommodation.
Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, BorisBNatajsa & Nut bear. Greetings from Christchurch, NZ.

Found it , after looking in the wrong area for some time, a quick read of the clue and bingo, there it was. Tftc
Nice walk along the beach. Lovely weather for me to catch up some caches on my day off today. Nice n found. Thanks for placing the cache
I enjoyed a nice walk on some more of the Bay Trail with my daughter. Nice Cammo. TFTC
Individual bit: Luckily for us there aren’t tooooo many muggles around today, despite the lovely weather. We are managing to get these higher D ratings without the difficulty. The construction on this cache was great! No muggle would think to touch it.
Generic Bit:
We’re out today trying to finally finish off our hidden creatures souvenirs and get that turtle. The weather was absolutely stunning today (in our opinion anyway), sunny and cool, great for walking a long way. Each cache found was beautifully crafted, clean and most with brand new log books. A big thank you to BorisB&Natasha & Nutbear for all these placements!

One of many caches found today in the name of discovering Hidden Creatures. Very quickly we discovered that returning to The Greatest Series On The Mornington Peninsula posed the problem that there aren't enough favourite points to go around, so instead you get our eternal love and appreciation along with a decent log when we can. ~ Brainiac03

Beautiful camo! Loved the design and placement. Great spot with muggles fortunately sticking to the beach, unbeknowst of our search. Thanks for placing this cache here!

Away for the weekend catching up with my Naval son and taking the opportunity to grab a few caches while down in the area. We had stayed nearby in our motorhome, so while the geo teens slept on, muggle hubby and myself went for a walk to grab some caches and take in some of this lovely coastal area.
Found after a short search with the GPS jumping all over the place, so had to wait for it to settle. Hint helped to narrow it down. Another nice hide.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for placing the cache for us to find.

On the way here it started pouring rain so we stopped at the nearby Mornington Peninsula tourist sign for some shelter - boy there's heaps of cool stuff to do around here.
When it stopped I headed on down while OHC minded the bikes. Some more impressive camouflage - love it!

S_38 found it within a minute, I would have taken much longer to find. Thanks for the cache, I enjoy caches like these! Thanks.
First of a few found down here on a break. Had to read the clue to find this one. Clever hide. Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
Beautiful sunny day so the beach was full of muggles, but a quick find in a nice shady spot. TFTC!
After spending more than a hour sitting by myself enjoying the beach near London Bridge it was time to head back to Rosebud to collect the rest of my family.
Of course I had time on the way back to search for a few more of the wonderful Bay Trail caches by one of my favourite CO teams. There was a vacant parking spot here so I pulled in and headed towarsd the beach.
A quiet place to sit and enjoy the beach while I searched for this cache. It was in the second place that I searched and so is another smile earned. Total's effort was 4 finds from 6 searches. I am looking forward to the next few months when I can spend more time caching along the Bay Trail.
Thank you BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for this cache and the series.

I can't get over what a beautiful day it is today out here. There's even a wedding in the beach! Very mischievous hide, had my hands on it a few times until it finally clicked!
Today's weather mixed of showers and sunny - headed out for a hunt day/night at Portsea, Sorrento and Blairgowrie with crank1. Clever hide. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for bringing us here.
Out this way for the Around the Bay Ride. Taking an afternoon stroll along the beach and grab a few caches. A quick find here on a nice afternoon. TFTC
The day was sunny and no muggles. Cache found in a very clever little location.
A favourite point added for its sneakiness .

Will we ever get to the end of this Trail!! And will the COs ever run out of ideas!!! Found this one. TFTC
Like Missmash said will we ever get to the end. Another well hidden cache in good order. Tftc
I had a little bit of time to fill before catching the 7am ferry to Queenscliff so I went for a bit of a wander to see what we could find. Another nicely hidden cache here. TFTC
Found it! Almost gave up 'cause I was tired and needed dinner. Spotted something different and there it was. TFTC SL
Out and about with mazza-g on the bikes. A nice quick find with enough time to stop and enjoy the view
On a day out with Jascat to find some more caches of this series. Heading back towards Sorrento we came across this well constructed and placed cache in a lovely shaded area. TFTC
This cache really blends in and looks like part of the construction. The hard part is not looking conspicuous as you hunt for it in busy walkway.
What a perfect day for a bike ride. Decided to come down and start from the top and work our way down, and do as many of the trail as possible. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for this great trail. Will be finishing them off soon.
I was meant to be working. Cleaning a house. But nobody had been down so I had little to do. 2 hrs to kill before the next job. What now? Caching off course!! It's so quiet and still this morning. Love this place after the holiday season. Not a muggle in sight. Another great spot along our beautiful bay. TFTC
Snuck up to do this one!! Not too many muggles around!! Nice clever hiding spot!! Tftc!!
Our second find on our way home from watching the sunrise. This one took a bit of searching as I was looking in all the wrong spots thanks to the GPS taking me everywhere but GZ. Eventually I used a bit of common sense and followed my own. Soon had the cache in hand. Great hide and TFTC BorisB&Natasha
Found this one today whilst making my way from work to Point Nepean with the goal in mind of doing some night caches in the reserve. I started doing dome of the bay trail as I still had a handful of daylight hours and I wanted to grab a few before I arrive to the reserve. The night caching adventure was very unsuccessful as we underestimated the night caches themselves but I will be back to get those little devils soon. Hopefully bringing with me a bigger group of people to do it with. Anyways thanks for the cache and the effort you have gone to putting out this trail. This one was a quick and easy grab as there was little muggles around preventing me from finding the cache.
