My word what a long time this one took me! I’m not sure if the date the pub was built has been removed or covered over but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I even went inside to ask a bar man and he said “definitely more than 30 years ago”

In the end I started scouring the internet and I found 2 possible dates. The first was wrong but the second was spot on and I was pleased to get the confirmation email

Many thanks for keeping these going and TFTC

As today is my last day in London, I decided to go out and clear some of the caches I have not found yet. There were of course numerous location and I initially thought to go to the Docklands, but later changed my mind, because I saw I completed some of the London multi caches and they end up in western London. So I took the tube to Victoria and set out. During the afternoon I found twelve caches in total and walked about thirteen kilometers ending up in my last job saying farewell. It was a fine walk, weather was just enough warm and I saw many interesting places.
This is the last one that was keeping me from finding out the final coordinates, all info quickly gathered and confirmation mail received.
Thank you for a nice cache and greetings from the Czech Republic. TFTC TNLN

Last day in London on this trip and, happy to say, the last in the Rainbow series. (Still have one to log, but they are all completed now). Found my first one in 2008, so its taken 4 trips to London over 11 years, but sometimes in life the best things do take a while.

This is another area of London that I probably wouldn't have visited without the cache being here. Had a beer in the pub and decide to stay for dinner, only to be told that my selection had been popular and there wasn't any available. Oh well, I had another beer and headed around to another area to eat.

Thanks rodz for the cache and showing me another part of this cool city. Fav point of course

Arrived at Victoria bus station midday and come to see The Lion King tonight. Lots of time to pick up some local caches. Great collecting a virtual as we have so few in New Zealand where I now live. Didn’t manage to get all seven so will have to come back. TFTC

Walked around this place a few days ago already - back in the hotel I recognized this virtual cache and came back tonight to gain the required info. Compiled the answers and created the correct mail address and received quick confirmation. Now I'm also interested to solve the others of this series - but this will be during my next visit to London.

Did another in this series when I was in London last year. So when I saw I was close to this one it was a no brainer.

Interesting spot with some gear history.
Thanks for bringing me here. Gets a favourite.

In London with 1260smc and 1260rjc for the joint Lewisham and Tonbridge district tower outing. With a good 10 minutes to spare before the first tower very close by at St Barnabas, we sought out the info for this, commented on the statue and then wandered the produce at the market where smc treated us to a De Nata tart...very nice it was too! Response sent by 1260rjc. Thanks.

Out with Coldrum and 1260smc on the Lewisham/Tonbridge ringing outing to London.
A bit of time to spare before ringing here so stopped to do this one. Almost stopped from finding some of the info by a market stall but got there in the end. Answers sent. Can certainly recommend the De Nata Portuguese tarts. TFTC

2435 - Another - and the last - find on an overseas work trip...

With a day in London before heading home I did quite a long walk around this general area. I really enjoy these virtuals as they show you some interesting areas around London. Even had a Pint here to celebrate ! Info was gathered and permission granted to log the find - thanks ! The info certainly was nothing like I expected - we live and learn !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers from Australia !!
