12-Sep-24
Found it

09-Sep-24
I suspect that once again someone has broken the cache, and neglected to let me know. I won't disable it as it sounds like the log container component of the cache is still there, but a replacement is in train and I should be able to call by and restore everything later in the week.

08-Sep-24
With the lure of an event on Herring Island that didn't require us to cart a kayak into the city, Chook joined forces with Sunset62 and micaparamedic, catching the train in and enjoying a leisurely walk there via a handful of caches.Luckily sunset62 had found this before so micaparamedic could make a swift find in a gap with no muggles around (other than an artist concentrating on his painting). We are aware that the cache should have involved a nice bit of clever camo, however this was not found today, only the basic 'log holder'. It is possible that the camo has made its way a bit beyond our reach, but all of us being on the shorter side of things (only at one end), we did not want to draw attention to ourselves with further searching.TFTC gmj3191.

I arrived in Australia a couple of weeks ago for work, and once that was finally done with I started the holiday portion of my travels. And what a holiday it is, I will be visiting six cities in a little over two weeks as I follow a rock band around on tour. Along the way, I will be collecting geocaches. I started this portion in Perth, then Adelaide, and now Melbourne. Only a few finds here as I have a busy schedule with none Geocaching things, but here is one I did find.I had no problem reaching this one (as I am height unimpaired), but I can see how others might struggle. All good here.---Thanks to gmj3191 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

08-Sep-24
Met up with chooknchunk and sunset62 for one of our PTV shake down walks, eventually heading to Herring Island for an event there. There was a chap there painting a picture of the monument here, I wonder if I made it into the painting. Thanks gmj3191 for placing this traditional cache, enhancing the game board and adding to our enjoyment.

05-Sep-24

Lots of joggers around the tan this morning but none seem interested in crossing over to pay respects... Lucky for me! This is my second visit as the cache was missing last time around, seems to happen a lot with this one! Massive thanks to Geoff for maintaining this, which must be almost a part time job!

After the meeting in the Glasshouse for the day, and between the planned dinner event there were optional drinks to be had. So the only option here was to get on a scooter and find a few geocaches! TFTH Quality hide here and a good reason for all the FP have another.

Day 14 of our roadtrip in Australia. Well, no roadtrip today, as we're still in Melbourne. Today we'll be exploring the parts outside of CBD, starting in the north, then south of Yarra and east where all the sports related stuff happens. Well, if we make it that far, there's so much to see here . Wow, that's a really cool hiding place. We immediately spotted it when walking up, but it's a nice camouflage. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo

25-Mar-24
During our cruise from New Zealand, via Australia, Tasmania, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Mystery Island, Fiji, Bora Bora, Moorea, Tahiti, Raiatea, Maui, Kaua?i, O?ahu and Hawai?i Island we also passed by here and found this cache.T4tc and best regardsJoskaranch Smile

On our last day in Melbourne and covering some unfound caches on our walk home we headed towards GZ. We quicker read the hint were a little confused. After taking a step back so as not to overthink the situation. It just flew into sight. What a hoot!!! Surprised such a public area and we were able to retrieve the cs he without attracting any attention. Great idea and location in such a serene location. TFTC??

Staying in Melbourne for a few days for the Grand Prix. With most of my time down here dedicated to being at Albert Park, there isn't a lot of time left over for caching. As today was race day, I wanted to get to the track much earlier than previous days to ensure a good vantage point could be secured which left time for just the one find this morning. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at a Grand Prix (even though my favourite driver DNF'd right in front of me) after being a fan of the sport for several years now. I will definitely try to make this an annual thing into the future SmileHad a general idea what to expect here so managed to spot the cache rather quickly and retrieve it without having to stretch too much. It truly is a beautifully designed cache and def worth a fp.Thanks for the cache
