I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi OuttatimeThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Heading south with rattll, we made a diversion to look for a couple of caches around Tokoroa. At GZ here, we identified the hiding place, but no sign of the container.
Heading home from the Bay and a surprise birthday visit with Google taking me on some different roads due to road works slowing the rate of travel down, so decided to take some time to convert a few unfound caches to smileys....This was not to be on this one, and if it was supposed to be in the fork of the tree, or the fence/stay, then I'm afraid it has been muggled.....Have never been to this area before, and feel it needs some more investigating at a later date. Thanks for bringing me here though.
What a cool spot! I also appreciated that the cache was a bit further from all the action. TFTC!!

It appears our van is a little too large for this wash but thankfully the cache was quickly located and we were on our way again. TFTC

Found. Geocache in bad condition, very wet and mouldy but great hide thank you. Geocachers from England!
The car wash was useful and the cache was also quickly retrieved. The log is quite wet. TFTC
After trying a different entry we came back to Kinleith road, and soon found the cache.
Log very wet and full.

I went for the stroll through wet grass to the forest and quick find. Tftc can't believe someone drove here.
In Tokoroa for the weekend for a fun run. Had a wee bit of time this afternoon so headed out for a few caches. Nice quick find once at GZ. TFTC
Little issue, the paper is soaked so all the previous finders names are gone but it was fun to find.
We all went through the car wash. A fun morning excursion out to get the cache of the day for me. Day 9 of a 10 day streak. A gorgeous day and great cache location. TFTC.
Whilst out on a mission with EyeSpyBen , soon had this one in hand, signed and returned,TFTC
Great clue, fun find. Drove up in the ute, I reckon my small car coulda taken it but my partner disagrees lololol. Nice diversion on the trip. Tftc
After a bit of a break from caching I am catching up on my logging that I hadn't finished due to various reasons. We had been up to Cambrige for a wedding, heading home via Taupo and Hawkes Bay. Quick car wash then a cache.TFTC Outtatime.
Hadn't seen one of these car washes before, great to see the locals making good use of it. TFTC
What a cool car wash- couple of locals were making use of it, so that was fun to watch. Nice easy find. tftc
Loved this one - very interesting to watch the car wash getting used. A favourite for the area.
Car washed? Check.
Cache? Check.
After a quick stop we were soon on our way. Tftc

After a scare during the week of a blood clot, I’m able to head to Turangi from Auckland to stay with FMZ’s parents Punga and Paua for about a week. Several of us are supposed to be climbing Mnt Ngauruhoe for my 9000th milestone, but I have set in my mind to enable my 9000th cache to land on rustynz’s Celebration Event on Mnt Ruapehu and not Ngauruhoe. I have rusty in my car, I picked her up, we left Auckland at 7:30am and she’s picking out a few caches along the way.
We parked up off the road on a sort of another road that used to be a road, somewhere close to the cache. Gorgeous day, warm though, got to GZ and I made my way in thru the usual blackberry, (going to see heaps of that crappy plant over the next few days) and something under foot that wasn't very nice. Grabbed the log and I think rusty signed us in. Bit perplexed over the title of the cache page until rusty pointed it out.... not what I was expecting but a carwash nonetheless.

With gorby on a caching adventure South
Making our way to GZ, it was gorby who pushed past the blackberry, but dumped nearby was a plant with sharp razor like edges, so with log signed we were on our way.
With kayaks on top, not able to get a "car wash" today, just too high
Thanks for the hide, and pointing out this unique feature Outtatime

#8807. I stayed overnight in Tokoroa and headed out early to pick up some local caches before driving south to Wellington. This one was a fairly quick find but I needed to push aside a few blackberry canes to reach the cache. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Outtatime for hiding it here. I did wonder about the carwash but good to read why it was installed.
Took a little detour heading to Paeroa. Quick find but I also found a blackberry thorn, ouch. Cheers
Couldn’t find as we had to remove rubbish that people had dumped and by then we were too stuffed.

Today I'm starting my road trip home from Auckland to Nelson with my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. I'm going to be finding a few caches along the way. Parked across the road from the car wash and walked up to GZ. Got to see the car wash in action on my way out. The cache is definitely there but there is some nasty vegetation dumped in front of it. Spikey, thorny and scratchy. I managed to get to the cache but donated some blood along the way. TFTC, Biggles.
Weird smell around here which I assume is coming from the plant. All kinds of dark thoughts as to why they need this car wash. Probably shouldn't have watched Chernobyl last night. Interesting area. TFTC.
Found on my way South going back to Wellington
Logbook wet but mange to get name on logbook

I was driving up to Auckland today. Madness I know, in Easter traffic, but needs must...
In order to break my journey up a little bit I thought I might stop to grab an occasional cache not too far off the beaten track. I had just stopped to fuel up at Atiamura (thank heavens for Gull!) and wondered what caches were available nearby? This was one of the closest so a short drive later here I was, giving my legs a good stretch.
The cache itself was a nice straightforward find, once I had manoeuvred a few Blackberry strands out of my way. Some secateurs would have been handy, but otherwise no big deal. I was able to sign the log and replace with relative ease as there was nobody around at all.
Thanks for the cache

Convenient way to clean ones car for the Kinleith workers

A fairly quick find, although the prickles hindered access somewhat. An interesting piece of equipment. TFTC
Find with Celyn18 on 04.06.2018 during our travel in New Zealand, a beautiful country. Tftc
The bush got dad but we got the cache
Log is wet maybe it went through the car wash
Found quite funny that the description said one dude drives the car through the car wash and the other guy walks ages to get the cache

Tftc! But i don't understand why so far and so dangerous this tree with «pick»! But we found!
Found the car wash and went through so now we have a nice clean car. The cache was looking at me from its hiding spot daring me to get it. With a little bush bashing (the bush was bashing me) soon had the cache signed and was off to the next one.
My car thanks you! After all the dusty country roads we've been down lately thanks to geocaching my poor car was looking pretty darn dusty but after going through the car wash... ok I admit we went through twice! all was well again. Found the cache site easily thanks to the hint and photo but retrieving it was a little more challenging thanks to all the spiky plants in the way.
On a road trip from Hamilton to Taupo and grabbed a few caches along the way. One way to turn a 2 hour trip into a 4 hour trip loved this so much was a bit of a thrill to go through the car wash - I wanted to go through again! Took a while to find the cache and fought through the bushes. Thanks for the cache and the clean car
Found. Signed and placed back as fast as we could. Took the car for a wash thru the car wash. Wht a blast alright. Not needed of course as it was pissing down cats and dogs
Roadtripping for the day with KirsTim and yorkshirekiwi83, grabbing a few caches on our way down south. Definitely had to stop here and try out the free car wash! An exciting part of the day...clearly. Thanks for the hide!
A day trip to Taupo with Vamber and KirsTim (signed KKTS or combination of) was on the cards, surprised a heap of rabbits, made a quick find of the cache and used the free car wash, although it didnt do too great a job. TFTC
Headed off on a road trip today from Auckland to Taupo with Vamber & Yorkshirekiwi83. The log was signed as KKTS with one or more of those letters missing depending on who needed the cache. Walk through the wet grass up to GZ, no problems with finding the cache but more importantly a free car wash. Thanks
How cool would that be to have your own freebie car wash ....I walked across the grass to the co ords where the cache was quickly located ...carefully made my way into the branches and berrys ouch to retrieve and sign ...thanks Outtatime for the great placement ....didn't use the car wash as my vehicle was to big lol
