Was looking forward to seeing the hint as it sounded quite cute, however didn't see it, so was a bit disappointed.Luckily the co-ordinates brought us to a relatively easy find.

Neat little spot. My girlfriends parents are visiting and were travelling around the North Island. Heres hoping their 5 pound note gets back to the Bluebell for a pint!
It's spring time, and that means weekend road trips to go see bands play, which in turn means geocaching. I woke up this morning in Taupo with the only goals being to get back home to Wellington and find a few caches along the way. this was one of them.No sign of any tractors, but the cache was found safe and well.---Thanks to Kennewick Man for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Easy grab on a lovely cold day drive around the lake. Spotted 1 retired tractor and a few friendly Goats.
While the other two did the big hike, Bi just wandered around the area a bit. This cache was found well. Nice hint. Tftc.
Last find of the day and we're on our way back home so was the right side of the road to make the find. I never saw any John Deere machinery today, sorry to say. All good with the hide and cache, and replaced as found.

We stayed overnight with our daughter in Taihape the night before which meant we were 45 minutes closer to the lake and enabled a sedate drive North grabbing occasional caches. On my radar for today was the remaining 'This was the year' challenge caches, a recce for the Stump Bay LBH caches and a new Ad Lab in Taupo, as well as the recent Virtual placement. As has been the story lately, not huge numbers, but a nice day out and some nice sites and sights. Cheers all COs.

Quick detour while heading north today, to come and find this cache. Quickly spotted, before continuing on my way, TFTC
#996 had some spare time in the area, so ventured out to collect some caches aiming to get my 1000th by today. Getting there! A fresh zip lock bag was near GZ. I assumed it was part of the cache. Replaced. TFTC
I suspect the cache had been found by kids as it had not been re-instated very well. All good now.

Thanks Kennewick Man, great cache. I have been meaning to log this for a while now as I found it a relatively long time ago. 
Quite a busy road today! Saw one John Deere tractor, one truck, two utes, one boy on a bike and one fisherman with today's catch walking in waders. No problem with the find. TFTC!
Mum and 10YO had dropped Dad and 14YO off to complete the Tongariro Crossing; and were keen to get some caches under their belt before they had to collect them again. This was attempt 11 of 12 for the day.
10YO was determined to locate this one after a couple of DNF already today. She spotted a likely location, and came up with the cache very quickly! No tractors here today.

One of a couple of caches for which we stopped en route to Turangi from Taupo. Glad the cache wasn’t at the small tree alluded to in the hint. There was a lot of dog poos close to that, not very appealing! Avoided that and ‘safely’ located the cache. Did my best to spot a John Deere tractor but failed in that regard! #4437. TFTC.
Find number 7782. My daughter is doing the Te Araroa trail And I have been a support person for a few days as she paddled the Whanganui [I was the other in the canoe] and cycled from Pipiriki to Whanganui. A 7pm crossing of the river at Koitiata where I met her and we camped for the night. An early start as she set off to walk to Bulls and I cached my way back to Hamilton. Doing just specific caches.
Hot day but able to park in the shade while I quickly found and signed the cache. Thank you for the placement.

My daughter and her friend found it while exploring around some bush and farmland. They had no idea what it was and had no idea about geocaching. So happy they found it and to start this new adventure of geocaching.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 8th of hopefully many ... easy parking & a relatively quick find, once I sorted out the big tree & the small tree ... sorry, no tractors across the road today ... that being said, the roadside vegetation is quite high, making it virtually impossible to see anything anyway ... on another note: we were stuck behind a John Deere for a wee while on SH1, obviously while the farmer was relocating from one paddock to another ... dropped off 'Community Volunteers Tag with the Kangaroo attached' TB to continue its journey ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,742 for us.Nice to see a cache this size, especially when introducing new hunters

Someone has dumped a load of green waste around GZ, we didn't bring our digger with us on this occasion, so no cache found.
Heading back to Palmy after 5 days in Hamilton with family. Miss 8 needed something in the boot I decided to stop here and grab an easy cache. It took way too long for me to find haha. Nice sized container which is now filled to the brim with goodies for the kids! TFTC
So pleased to be able to travel now we are in Covid level 2. Come to Taupo for the weekend to increase the number of domestic tourists. Late Sunday afternoon so no tractors around or muggles. Thanks

Day two of my road trip from Auckland to Nelson in my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. Finding a few caches along the way. Parked nearby and found my way to GZ. Found the cache in the second or third spot I checked. TFTC, Biggles.

Found it. No tractors today. Some one is dumping garden waste all around the Geo cache.

Found with a sister during our expedition to NZ (from CZ), where we explored part of the North Island and could visit our classmates and friends that we have not seen for several years, as it is here, in Auckland and Napier live ... Thank you for cache ...

During our holidays in New Zealand, we spent a couple of days in north island with program sightseeing, gastronomy and, of course, Geocaching!
So, we took the time to visit a few Caches, to remove some green, orange or blue dots on our map.
We will distribute favorite points according to our mood and caches met.
Thank you to all Owners for the installation of these boxes and for their maintenance.

Thanks so much ! I'm trying to do the 400 minute challenge, and had planned on doing the one across the road - but the pines have been felled, and I think that cache is gone. So pleased when I looked on my GPS and saw this one!
Head south and pick up a few caches along the way ....found nice and easily ...but oh dear there was no Deere to be seen today must be out working thanks for the cache
Heading south in the motor home and thought "why not". Have been promised to be taken tramping up in the hills down this road, but yet to do this. Checked for tractors across the road, but nothing but a few old parts in the shed. Cache all ok. Thanks for the cache Kennewick Man.
It was time to go to the next shade of green on my GC.COM calender for today so a trip to Turangi was needed to get the numbers.

Coming down to this area for a big tramp tomorrow further up this road. Came down to check that the road is open and we are ready to roll tomorrow. Found the cache quickly but we were surprised to see the number of new houses being built close to the cache. Want be much need for the tractor here for much longer TFTC
