Yay my first letterbox cache. There is one closer to home in Palmerston but haven't been off the main road there yet. I own one in Invercargill. Night time search while at en event in Edgar centre. TFTC marvellous. 2TB in 2 TB out. (Actually realised that it is my 2nd letterbox hybrid). Have to log this one on the letterbox site before I forget

This was my first letherbox cache. It was very cool to see al this things in it. I will send you for sure a postcard from switzerland when im back home. TFTC 2TB IN AND 2 OUT
I'm afraid I've had to take a guess at the date. I was given the wonderful "Wanderlust" trackable to read, and then it got buried in the debris of our dining room table and I needed a nudge from i-gotit to move it on. I dropped it into the letterbox in the hope that Hinemoana would enjoy it and pass it on to another geocacher who will appreciate it as much as I did, but be a bit more responsible about keeping it wandering.
An amazing book and an interesting read. Thanks to M@tea for a marvellous trackable.

We found out, that we couldn`t by petrol on Otago Peninsula, so we had to go to Dunedin to fill up the tank. On our way there Pia suddenly discovered a Letterbox on the GPS, and furthermore, it was size "Large". Of course we just had to find such a box . With the good hint it was a quick and easy find. What a nice box. It must be rewarded with a favorite point [^].
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I fly back to Brisbane this afternoon so I decided to pick this cache up this morning. It was easy to find, and great that it is well stocked. Left some toys and took a pencil and postcard. TFTC
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 7: Lovely [red]Dunedin[/red]
The real bad weather conditions from the last few days were over...but it was still stormy
Therefore we had to change our plans: visiting [red]Dunedin[/red] by bicycle was not anymore an option for us
Although we could see a lot of interesting places...and of course some nice caches in the area [:X]
This letterbox cache was one of them
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] is always looking for large caches...so we were also looking for this cache
I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

Well what a cache That kids LOVED it and so did i. It is nice to see a cache full of nice treasures and being well looked after. We took TBs and did swaps - If we could give you 2 favourite points we would do but sorry i can only give one. Thank you so much for putting time in with this cache. LOVED it.
Also meet a nice lady as we were leaving
On our last full day in Dunedin we thought we would make it a caching day. Found 27 caches in total.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the great cache. First for the year and my 11th day of getting a cache a day.
TFTC. Great sized cache! Super windy day had to make sure the contents didn't blow away!
Greetings from Finland! Visiting New Zealand with kobolttti and besides seeing the sights we're also getting some geocaching done.
Fantastic cache, definitely worth a favourite point. Dropped off two TBs and picked up two others. We also got the address so expect a postcard later on also Thanks for the cache!

Found with Ephief during a tour in the peninsula. Nice idea for a cache. Worth a favorite point. TB out.
Enjoying the 1st week of a 3-week summer road trip around the South Island with our kids: great weather thus far & spectacular views everywhere we look. Just wonderful. First trip to the South Island since I started caching &, much as though I'd love to stop at every cache along our route, the agreed plan is a few quality finds each day or risk mutiny from the rest of the family who don't share my sistema-obsession. This one was on today's short list: an interesting sounding cache on our way into town from where we're staying on the peninsula. Much excitement in the car coz we've promised the kids an early Xmas treat of the chocolate factory tour (what were we thinking??). Truth be told, I was more excited by the cache - nice quick find with the great hint & a wonderful stash. Wish I had more time to look through all the contents, TFTC
Found this Cache together with SL_Wayne on our great holidays here in New Zealand.
Quick find! I love Letterboxes!!
Thank you so much for the Cache!!

I was SURE I'd logged this, but when CJ pulled up the lost of finds I hadn't logged, here it was.
Found after the very early morning event, thanks Hinemoana!

Just beside our way back of the Sand Fly Bay this letter box lay almost next our route, at least with a little bit creative route planning. We had here no problems to find the box, the hint was clear.
Nice idea with the cards!

Before heading up north, I had to go and find this letterbox! And it was totally worth it, there are lots of cards in there and plenty of space for trackables. Left 2 trackables from Germany that wanted to travel to New Zealand!

What a great box full or treasure. I spent much longer than normal going through all the stuff you have in there. I have an Aussie mate coming over next month so will get him to bring a postcard or 2 to leave in here.
Took a TB to move on.
This would be a great cache for young people and new cachers to find.
Well done and thanks Hinemoana

Found with Hevic after the event this morning. What a stash! Great to see such a cache in an urban environment, especially with such variety of postcards. Thanks for the cache - favourite point from me for the above reasons. Cheers!
Found with Chosen1978 on our day trip to Dunedin to help clean up Signal Hill and grab a few caches. We went to stamp the log book with our stamp and then realised that it was still back home. Dropped off the Departed Wanderer TB to move on.
Found with Granville86a. Went to log our find with our stamp only to realise we had left it at home. Great Letter Box cache, fav point from me TFTLB
A great container and many thanks for placing this cache so as to fulfill the August challenge TFTC
Dear Letterbox Send-a-Postcard,
Thanks you for being so welcoming on my visit this afternoon. I really liked the easy parking and being able to find you easily. As other visitors have mentioned, your generous size, range of swaps and interesting postcards gave me a very enjoyable visit.
You certainly have a lot of happy Travelbug friends! I especially appreciated being able to drop off a couple more travelbugs seeing the happy Travelbugs staying with you and being able to drop off a couple more. One, Gliss!'s 5 c Worth, especially requested being taken to letterbox caches so that was the reason I arrived to see you this afternoon.
I'm sure that as well as all the geocachers coming to see you for the first time, you will have a lot of people returning regularly to drop off and pick up those tricky "supersized" Travel bugs.
I wish you all the best for your future career as a key member of the Dunedin letter-box community.
Kind regards,
daywalk

Took the opportunity to complete our challenge and hit Pak'n'Save this fine SundayTFTC
Was nearby to GZ and haven't found a cache yet this month let alone any souvenirs so made a quick detour for the pickup. Left my card as a means of speeding up proceedings. TFTC.
Down in Dunedin for a conference so what a great opportunity to collect a few non-local cache's that will help me meet the requirements for the GCLS out at Rangitoto Island.
This was the first one that I had the chance to grab as the day was going to be busy.
I quite like collecting letterboxes as they are just that little bit different and there are not that many of them around.
Thanks for providing the opportunity to grab this one

Quick find under cover of darkness. Found with Lollipopcat and SpyDude13. Kia ora mai for the cache Hinemoana.
Mama and Guwapo picked Papa up from the airport and were heading home. As we needed to find a cache for International Geocaching Day we decided to make it a special one. After locating and signing the log we decided to see if the CO was home but it appears she is off on another continental geocaching jaunt!! Maraming Salamat!!
A very cool cache in every sense of the word! A quick find today while the road workers were sheltering in their truck from the snowflakes. TFTC, awesome to find a huge cache in Dunedin, it gets a fav point from us.
I was in such a hurry to get out the door this afternoon, I completely forgot my "stamp" and postcard I was going to donate to the collection.
Thanks for the cache, Maria.
In fact I was also in such a hurry to log, that I logged my find into my own Letterbox hybrid by mistake!!! along with the trackables.

Found after using hint - was a bit unsure about intruding until then. Forgot the post card so left a countdown collectable card instead. TFTC
Wow, great large cache box. Found with Pandajayne, left some small London postcards and picked up a couple of TB.

I had been planning to come down to Dunedin on this weekend for quite a while! And what wonderful luck that it happens to be the weekend of no events in Chch, and an event and a CITO in Dunedin, and a new letterbox cache recently!!
Had driven past this a few times already this weekend, but while waiting for something arather, went to go grab this cache.
Hope there were no other searchers at that time, as we brought it inside to take a good look, and do the logbook signing.
Very well stocked cache, and yes I did remember many of those things inside the cache! Hahaha.
Thanks for the awesome huge and dry cache

Dropped by to grab this one on the way to the local Event later this afternoon.
Talk about exposed.....
I can only assume that this is the CO's property, we were quite glad that no-one was out walking their dogs etc. whilst we were completing the log.

Decided to try and get all the August cache typr souveniers today. This was first up.
A bit of a detour on our way home to grab this one. Thanks for putting up a new cache Hinemoana. Found with debsnz
Called by at lunchtime to find four workmen sitting in the back of their truck right by the cache site. My arrival interested them greatly and I realised I wasn't going to be able to grab the cache safely. Returned in the evening and picked it up (easiest find in a while I have to say!). TFTC and I hope chez Hinemoana enjoys its new ultrafast broadband or drains or whatever it is that the work is all about!
Thanks for putting a letterbox cache out for August. Successfully negotiated the workmen (they do go for lunch) and managed to grab without being seen.
Finding a park in a street full of men digging up the road/footpath was more difficult than finding the actual container and what a container it is! Large and full to the brim!!
Found on a short visit to Dunedin this afternoon. Many thanks for the letterbox cache to qualify for an August 2014 souvenir. TFTC
Great afternoon caching in the Dunedin Area, have not cached down here a about 6 months, still have heaps to do.
Thanks Bitsprayer.
Thanks Bitsprayer.
I missed this notification and thought there would be no chance of being the FTF by the time I made it into town. Woohoo, I couldn't believe it when I found a blank log book at 11am, along with all the other awesome things inside the cache. I spent ages looking thru everything, it's a cachers paradise!! Cheers for this cache and the FTF prize.
I'd been busy all day doing bits 'n' bobs and whilst making a cuppa decided to have a look at some further North and find that there's one closer to home. Great, been hanging out for one nearby.
A quick drive and a find was made in the rain. Had to be quick as the contents were getting wet every time I lifted the lid.
TFTC
PS Don't forget to sign up for the upcoming events!!

Dakotacats found this one earlier in the morning without me so after she picked me up from my Grandparents place we went to find this cache again. Because it was raining I opened the box in the car and it was awesome. I spent ages looking through everything in the box and looking at the postcards. Thank you Hinemoana for this fun cache.
