Our first DNF for the day . We searched all the likely places, but no luck. We were sorry, because we really wanted to finish this little series.
Thanks for replacing this one. The lookout was busy, but quiet here which made for a nice find good excuse for a toilet stop too Hehe. Southward, hyah!
Cache has now been replaced. It is a pill bottle. Hope it wont get muggled to quickly.
Checked today and the cache is missing, will think about replacing it, or moving to a new location
This was our last cache on an unexpected day trip to Taupo. There was a young family playing Football near GZ so we had to be very quick and discrete. Its a good hide consider the location. We had hoped to do more Geocaching in the area but simply ran out of time. TFTC.
Out for a full days caching with Kiwis69. The weather forecast wasn't the best, and we hoped we could make the finds between the gaps in the showers. Unfortunately most of the morning there were very little gaps and we spent a lot of time in the rain, shame we couldn't add "may require wading/swimming" attributes to the caches. Sun had come out by the afternoon which allowed us to dry out. Thanks everyone for the placements.
No troubles here.

Out and about with HKCB for a day's caching: we left Hamilton bright & early, planning to get to Rotorua via Tokoroa with more than a few stops along the way ... hoping for lots of caches & a few showers but, with torrential rain by the time we reached here, was starting to wonder if our plans were going to be washed out. Then again, the rain was keeping the muggles away ... not a soul in sight today & parked as closely as possible; was tempting to try to reach the cache from the car but arms were not quite long enough so, yes, time for another quick drenching! Thanks for placing this cache Outtatime
We arrived in Tokaroa and headed for Strathmore Park. Made a quick find at GZ, used the nearby facilities, and were back on our way. Thanks.
We are heading towards Taupo, we stopped along the highway to grab a few caches. The countryside is wonderful & green. We made numerous stops at some scenic locations & intersting spots.

Empty carpark today - just the lawn mowing tractors out. Bet this is a busy spot on the weekends - cache all good TFTC
In town for the day so why not grab a cache, all quiet around here this morning.

With our eldest daughter emigrating to Canada and a need to drop off Corky the dog for her to emigrate too, a road trip was in order and of course a few caches along the way. The need to let Corky out for toilet stops and leg stretches coincided with caches placed along our route, funny old thing!
Today was the day of departure and after dropping off Laura at the airport I needed some in the dark with torch caches to get the day off to a good start.
That done it was onto the return drive home with caches here and there to be found
Easy find at GZ

The first day of School Holidays... On a mission with Gap (of Fap and Gap) to re-trace steps to Raglan. Lost a gps unit along the way, so we're hoping to find it at one of last weekends' cache finds... We're cache hunting as we go.
Thanks for the historical notes about Strathmore Park. This turned out to be a very nice part of Tokoroa to visit. We think the large roundabout at the entry to the park is screaming out for a cache too, but we were happy to find this one today. Left a TB. TFTC.

10.55am - After visiting Raglan last weekend, misplacing our GPS somewhere, decided to back track this weekend to Raglan but by a different route to try to find it. Well the only thing found was caches, no GPS.
Easy find with no one around. SLTFTC

Heading home after a quick day trip to Hastings for a couple of meetings and a major need to stop for a cache or few.
Until today had never had much luck caching in this area as most caches were always muggled, so today was a nice surprise to find the cache all good. No muggles to contend with so thats always a bonus

Had to do some shopping in Taupo so we took the long way round and went via Tokoroa just so we could find this cache. ...extending our half hour trip to 3 hours for an FTF. Nice hide in a very quiet location today, not a soul in sight. TFTC.
