Had a really big search around here but couldn't come up with anything useful. I did however ruin my pair of thongs that I tried to walk through the mangroves with. I also enjoyed the view out in the bay.

Our for a day of caching with barbbowan.
We parked nearby and wandered along to where our phones said was GZ. Then the phones began jumping around, so our search area widened. About the only thing we found were lots of mangroves, some bricks and a LOT of broken glass.

After coming home from Jacob's Well and logging our finds we only needed 4 more to get to 300. So we went out near home to collect them.
I now have many scratches and bites.
Log and pencil all good.

I was in the area and looking for a cache to find. There are not many around the Bayside that I haven't found but this one appeared so I had to clear it off the map.
I parked nearby and searched around for an approach route and luckily the tide was out far enough for me to head along the edge until I came to an obstacle and had to climb around it to get to the search area. A bit of mud on the shoes before I finally got to the spot.
I searched at a couple of different levels and then spotted the hide and signed the log.
I then decided to take a drier route back to the car. TFTC.

Luckily the tide was out - we had to scramble through some prickly vines down to the beach.
Couldn't help noticing a rusty old ship's anchor in the mud before gradually finding the cache.
The cache we found had just a pencil and no paperwork!! We had to improvise by a torn
diary page and a snack sized glad bag!!!!

We tried a couple of different approaches to GZ and managed to get there without getting too wet and muddy. A quick search turned up the cache but nothing in it but a pencil? I had some scrap paper and swampy bees had a spare ziplock so a temporary replacement log signed and added. Thanks holmesies.
Hi, we've checked out the area and as far as we're aware this area is open to the public. You do not have to enter the regeneration area to access the cache. We live close to the GZ and we are aware that in 2014 the entire area was restricted. However, since that time all the barriers have been removed and we have seen countless people in this area. So long as you enter the GZ from the beach and not the street, we don't see any problem with this cache. Happy Caching!
Rocking the Redlands on a bayside bash today with Slow Puncture. Weeks of meticulous planning trying to line up unfound unique combos culminated in today's little adventure. With an early start to the day we planned on finding 25 Unique D/T combos for the day thus completing the challenge of the same name. This cache was accessed without any need to enter either private property or restricted areas, and is still in place and able to be found. Quick find here, TFTC
Slow Puncture were out today with Orange Crew, both teams were seeking the same caches to earn "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD)" - 25 different D/Ts on the same day.
Kieran had identified 25 qualifying caches (and some spares) on the Bayside, so we met early this morning in the rain. Luckily the rain ceased as soon as we met.
Find Number 13 for the day. This one was accessed by avoiding the restricted area and taking the alternate way around. Do NOT do that in bare feet...
TFTC, holmesies.

Out and about on a fine Sunday to find a few caches.
A short walk, from where I parked the car, along the beach and no need to access the restricted area.
A quick find while still standing in the sand.
Thanks for the cache.

Newbies continue to enter the Restricted area and CO has not responded. It's just not on.
We will temporarily disable this listing until we are able to check it's position, as originally it was not placed in a restricted area, and although tricky was perfectly safe to find. It may well have been moved or placed back in wrong position, but we are unable to check at the moment.
This cache should be Temporarily Disabled as it is in a restricted area and cannot be accessed SAFELY or LEGALLY.

What an area, I am scared of slipping and falling in water or breaking a leg. Sent my Muggle son in for the cache. TFTC
Thanks for clue. We were a little concerned the tide was too high...but nope....there it was safe and dry. TFTC
On my afternoon walk decided to extend the trip here to see if I could possibly grab me a find.
But on the way in I was stopped by a couple of neighbouring houses - they were a pleasure to watch, especially the one right next door to this cache. Not bad, not bad at all. I wish it was mine...
Anyway, onwards to the GZ. Followed the phone and the hint to find the right spot. Was a bit hesitant to approach the final meters: hope the neighbour knows to appreciate our fine hobby and doesn't mind a few visitors in close proximity.
I was there about an hour after a 2m high tide and all good with joggers. It took a little while to confirm I'm in the right place, then another little moment to find the most potential hides. And voila, we have a container here. [^]
Signed the log, placed things back, and took a vertical shortcut back to the geotrail.
All good here. TFTC, Holmesies!

Out caching with Misssusan, Bennyboppers, Lisylou and Remsjw. Found by Lisylou. Glad it wasn't too hard to find.
Out with misssusan, mnance, remsjw and bennyboppers, we got to gz and begun the search, from reading the description I moved to a level that I thought might make it easier and it proved fruitful as I spotted the cache fairly quick then. Tftc.
Came at this one from the wrong direction, luckily tide was out but a search of Mangroves was fruitless. Read a few logs and reversed my entry for finally a smilie . Cache and log both high and dry...TFTC
After making a stop in Cleveland for my morning coffee shop visit, I figured it would be easier if I just found a local cache today rather then trying to fit one in on the way to work. This one was not to far away so figured why not go and take a look.
As I drove around and found a park I do recall stopping in this spot before to take a few photos, and had thought it a nice little spot at that time. However today as I ventured down over the rocks I found it to be a little less pleasing considering the amount of broken glass and such around.
Anyway although I was wearing shoes, they were maybe not the best choice for the wet foreshore, so I was glad the tide was out. I slowly made my way closer and closer ensuring not to make a wrong step and soon was in position. I spied something as I approached and soon had the log in hand adding my name to it.

Nice and simple find. Need to really watch footing getting to cache as area can be slippery and there is more broken glass than a recycling factory on the floor.
Parked near a small boat ramp.Lucky the tide was out and was able to walk along damp edge near the bank.Eventually came to a fallen tree and was able to clamber over it using bricks as a step.Found the cache, filled in the log, took NZTB.TFTC
Joint ftf with Cleveland girl. Just beat another cacher by seconds. Lots of glass near cache so wear good footwear. Tftc

Well done to Cleveland Girl who was onsite first and found the cache. Great to meet you. What a great location, lucky people living next door
