With a string of DNF's it appears this cache is in need of a maintenance check, thanks
Another lovely day visiting the area and we managed to explore more places, our muggle driver is getting used to us telling him to stop here, go there, just a little detour and that looks like a good place to park lol, TFTC and the fun
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Based at Willunga house-sitting for a few weeks, a drive to McLaren Vale again today, to the info centre to get some camping info on Kangaroo Island. Took a long way round via California Road, caching on the way. Filling in the gaps on the map now.
Another easy find on this Cats and Dogs trail. thanks Ziggy

Today we needed to go to Noarlunga and with a little spare time up our sleeves we decided to chase some cats and dogs. All the caches that we found are in good condition, we found the co-ords to be acceptable. SL TFTC
Took a bit longer then expected but eventually located when the search was expanded.
Out and about after dropping daughter to work at the day on the green. Found with superman_22

Greetings from Brisbane . A weekend trip to Adelaide was planned to see the sights and find some special geocaches you have hidden here.
Day 2: An early start was made to head into the Adelaide Hills before visiting McLaren Vale, Cape Jervis and then down to Victor Harbour. With a few hours of daylight left, I headed back into the city for a few more smilies, then climbed a hill to watch the sun dip below the horizon .
This powertrail cache was a quick find and was stamped and returned as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Discover our TB

As it was getting dark, I needed a quick and easy find: this one was that! I am very grateful! Day 95 of a 100 day streak!
Accurate coordinates and a tell-tale sign led to a quick find. Although the outside of the container was completely covered in mud, the contents were in good condition. Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache,
Cleaing up the geomap down south with Purrfect Di,
finally finished off most of the dogs and cats series.
A great idea, and nice to see some theme on a couple still.

This was to be our final full day in SA before heading back to Perth tomorrow afternoon . It has been a fantastic caching trip with old mate KrabiBoy and we have been flying through as many caches as we can manage . We targeted Willunga today and then cached our way northeast towards another OTD series [^]. Another rippa day!
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to Ziggy58 for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache Cats and Dogs: African Golden Cat today. This is my find #8030 and find #31 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again Ziggy58 for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

jinta29 and I are in town this week after many months of planning for a week to remember. We are heading to the Yorke Peninsula, Murray Bridge and as many places in between as we can get to. This was one we found along the way.

I needed to head back to Adelaide soon so I chose California road for a final run of 14 cats and dogs caches. they were a pleasure to find along this stretch with good hides and spots t pull off the road. It didn't take too long to gather them all.

Day Twenty eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.
We have been caching in the Northern suburbs, time to head South. We did some of both the Forty Winks and Cats and Dogs series, plus any that appeared on our radar as we travelled around.
We loved the Cats and Dogs series, there were several that have had much thought and planning put into them. Unfortunately it seems the CO is not a player any more and the series is falling into ruin. We did a bit of maintenance with what we had in the car, but several need the CO's touch.
Sad to see this happen.
Found container but it had been flattened - I suspect a tractor.
We replaced the container and log as it was obvious where and what it was.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12100. Day 28 of our SA holiday. Time to bite the bullet and travel south of Adelaide from Semaphore. It was a bit of a journey - no easy way through town. We decided to start with Forty Winks and then proceed to Cats and Dogs, as time allowed.
Here we are doing Cats & Dogs after lunch in Aldinga. It is such a shame that the CO of this series is obviously no longer playing. She has created a very nice series and there were some interesting hides. It was very disappointing to find so many caches and logs in bad condition. We did a little bit of maintenance as we made our way around but left most of them as they were. It would be so good if someone could adopt this series to keep it going.
Took note of the squashed Eclipse tin and irretrievable log sheet. Replaced in same spot with another Eclipse tin and new log sheet in a plastic bag.
Thanks Ziggy58

the container was squashed, can't take the log out to sign. Hope the CO can take care of it.
Enjoying learning more about 'cats and dogs' with jc125jc. Thanks Ziggy58 for your research.
But couldn't do anything with this squashed container,
But couldn't do anything with this squashed container,
Quick find but the tin has been squashed almost flat. I took a photo as evidence of visit. Thanks.
A sunny friday afternoon with a day of ment that a day cachng was in order. I was hoping to finish of the cats and dogs series I started last weekend and, hopefully, puck up a few more caches around McLaren Vale. Unfortunetly a 4 O'CLock dentist appointment ment that I had to finish early than I would have liked. Despite this a good caching day was had.

Found this one a couple of metres from GZ inside the property and had been squashed by a vehicle. As it has been flattened, you cant get the log out but have put it back at GZ. tftc!

I think this one has been muggled as can not see it any where and with last find in May it looks like it's been gone a while
I've been wanting to do some more Cats & Dogs caches for a while and I also needed to visit Willunga so this afternoon I headed off for a bit of fun and found 16 caches & had 1 DNF before the rain and darkness made me call it a day.
As a cat & animal lover I really enjoyed this series, and the variety of caches in the series which kept me on my toes.
TFTC and fun Ziggy58!

Hi there Ziggy58.
We found your cache **"Cats and Dogs: African Golden Cat"** at 11:06:00 AM today.
This was our 29th cache find in a caching run of 46 Finds & 1 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 12880.)
Today was a primarily a "Cats and Dogs" day, but we did find a few others on our circuitous route too. We thoroughly enjoyed todays cache hunt, and some of the caches we found were really memorable, but please excuse our boilerplate logs. We know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge if the cache was big enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Thanks very much for the Cats and Dogs series - we enjoyed reading about a wide range of cats and dogs and also appreciated the variety of cache hides and the good locations selected. It was a beautiful afternoon to be out caching and we were happy to find 43 of the 45 we looked for.

darts was on last night and it was a away game in Mc Laren Vale so I decided to find the last 5 cats and dogs on the way in.
On this lovely Saturday afternoon, we decided to find some caches in the southern area near Aldinga. This is number 13 of 36 found this afternoon.
About one and half month ago, we visited the Sellicks Hill giant Buddha statue (Guan Yin statue) of Nanhai Putuo Temple in Sellicks Beach, SA. On the way to there, we found a dozen of "Cats and Dogs" series caches. It was fun. And today, we came back for more.
Cache African Golden Cat was easy to find. Signed the log book, and placed the container back.
Thank you, Ziggy58, for creating the "Cats and Dogs" series caches.

Mogni was in town for one of her flying visits. She had allocated today to catch up and do some caching. So far she hadn't done a OTD series so that would be the order of the day and if time some Cats and Dogs. And of course any other that we were just passing. All up 91 finds and only 3 DNFs.[^]
After complete the January OTD series we headed down to Mount Compass for some coffee break and grabbed a few whilst in the area. And now onto the cats and dogs.
My turn to find this one.
Thanks Ziggy58 for placing this cache and series.
