We had a great day today, driving out to Mudgee via Coolah and Gulgong, managing 37 finds including 7 trigs in perfect weather, if a little hot at times.
The kids liked this one.... quick and easy and we headed off towards the 'dad joke trail'.... TFTC!

It felt a little strange peering into someone's property. Does the CO live here? Found the cache easily however the log was damp. I did manage to sign though. Thanks.

I have been able to pop a small container in the hide . Hopefully it won't get muggled.
I appreciate your patience and happy Geocaching

I have need to disable this cache for a while as some local children think it fun to steal it. I will fix it up at a later date.
I am very sorry that this has to happen for a little while.

Day 4 of what is turning out to be quite a memorable trip for us. Every day has presented new challenges that has meant we have had to alter our plans and routes. Not that this has been a problem at all for us. In fact it has been a lot of fun and has ended up taking us to new places, just like geocaching does. We have likened it to being in a Donkey Kong game, dodging barrels (floods) and fireballs (covid). Today's announcement of lockdown in QLD means that we won't be rushing to the mega (If it goes ahead) as originally planned. In fact we feel quite lucky to still be sauntering around NSW.
So onto this cache, and initially it was a DNF for us. But as we were standing around scratching our heads, the CO happened to turn up and was mortified to find the nicely sized obvious cache had indeed gone missing. Very promptly this was replaced so we could sign the logbook before we departed. Now that's service!!! It was really great to meet you smee1961 and thank you for putting out these caches for us to enjoy.

Looked in the two places that we thought were obvious but had no luck today maybe next time
While staying Tamworth for a few days, I ran out of caches to find
So, I grabbed my geodog Scruffy and decided to find a few caches further afield.
And this was one of them ...

Camping in the Coolah Tops NP, and did some caching around Coolah. Meet the CO today whilst doing this cache. Lovely chat and on our way, TFTC Smee1961.
ON planning my trip to Coolah NP and surrounds, i figured that a Cacher must live here close by, as there are so many local caches. And what do you know, we meet the CO at this one.
On getting out of the car, the phone never tells me the right direction, but is good on distance, so i am wandering around on the other side of the street, trying to get a bearing, when we hear a voice, "are you looking for the Geocache?". You just never know how to reply to that question, but i had an inkling from reading the page. Madrabbitoh had not, and she was in the line of sight, as i was behind the car, so she stammers out "ahhh yes". "Its over here" came the reply, and that was our meeting of the CO. After a quick chat, with a few hints of our impending caches, we soon signed off and off we go. Thankyou for all your hard work in placing and maintaining the local caches. Give a fav for effort.

Found with Team_lewin. A quick find after marking sure the cache was supposed to be on private property. The property is up for sale so unsure if this cache will last.
Out and about for a new years day caching run from dubbo to Coolah, Binnaway and back home through Mendooran with brother aussieben in tow. Great afternoon full of laughs and smileys!
Gz is up for sale so I guess the future of this cache is to be watched. Loved this little cache idea! Quick find in a very quiet street. Where did everyone in Coolah go for new years?

No need to get upset about finding this cache, just follow the trail of ants! Tftc

Nice one! After searching in the wrong area we finally had another think, and another look somewhere else, and Bingo! Favourite point from me. Found with Crafty Dusty and the geopooch Pippa on our Campervan trip out West from Sydney. We decided to come through Coolah specifically for the caches here, and you didn’t let us down. THANK YOU!
We were waiting for so to ask what we were up to
But it’s All Good

Staying at Coolah for a couple of days to find the caches in this lovely litttle town. We decided to walk around Coolah this morning to find any that could be easily reached on foot. We found six and had only one DNF.
Great variety of containers and hides.

Left Blackall after the QOGM event, heading south for St. Arnaud event next month. Day 48 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 18 caches for the day and 1559 for the trip. TFTC
Many thanks for putting these caches out and maintaining them all the caches that we did today where in great shape, we were heading home with a drive from Dubbo to Maitland from seeing the Family, and heard this detore had a few caches for us, we also heard that there was a good Pie shop in Coolah "Coolah Bakery" just on the right as you get into town, well it was one of the best pies around for geocaching the one that you can drive with it in one hand and not slop it down your arm Oh and they taste great as well highly recommended, really love the area and the fact most containers where different yes a few minties but you need them but all in all we had a great 2 hours of caching from Coolah to 30 kms north or so to king and I , and what's more the geowife was happy as well win win , so we have done the approach from Dubbo and north of the town we will be back to finish the rest off in the near future another family trip thanks again, I will stamp pad this log
Found with Trow&Co. thanks for the cache. Great to break up a long trip with the kids from Gatton,QLD to Sydney.
I found this with my dad when we took my sister back to her mum. We found this one at Christmas before I was geocaching too. I left a trackable & took one. TFTC.
Revisited this cache with my geodaughter for her to log & drop a TB. There were a few here already, so I grabbed one too! TFTC
Dropping off 3 bugs to go on their merry way

Out cycling around town enjoying a sunny day. This cash was so easy to spot that we did not really think that would be it. Thanks
Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale and collecting a few caches along the way. We were going to do just a couple of caches before heding on but after meeting the CO at this cache we just had to do a few more - very crafty cache and a FP given. Thanks so much to all the COs for your time and effort in making and placing these caches as well as making this drive a lot more interesting. Happy caching!
Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale and stopped around Coolah to do a number of caches. We arrived at this cache and parked car before walking to GZ. What a great setup for this cache and therefore giving a FP. While there CO (smee1961) appeared and we had a great chat before heading off. TFTC and the chat too.
Another quick find during our quick stop-over in Coolah, on our way back home to Sydney. A nice hide, well done!

Driving from Orange to Glencoe. Fitting to find a cache on Glencoe Street. A nice kid friendly find. Tftc.
Quick find on our Christmas Day trip to stretch the legs. The kids made some swaps & they extended their Christmas TFTC!
Quick find on way to Glen Innes. TFTC Tb picked up and will log when stopped
#1988 - It's great to find a lot of caches in a small country town. All the more reason to spend some time (and money!) here while I am travelling in my camper. I am staying overnight at the local Sporting Club where I also had a great dinner.
I walked to a few of the caches and this was number three. I was glad it was mentioned that it was okay to walk into the yard, as I am generally hesitant to do so. It took a moment again to realise what I was supposed to do with this, but in the end I got the container and could scribble my name!

A quick find after having set up camp at Coolah Tops and survived the cold nights. Had to wait for the young boy who was cycling around until we could retrieve it, and then until we could replace it.
On a family drive from Newcastle to Dubbo. Decided to swing by Coolah and grab some lunch and a few caches in the way.
A quick park and grab. A bit nervous lurking on the lawn! TNLN TFTC

After leaving Dubbo we headed to Coolah for an over night stay & to locate the many caches in the area. Placing all the caches in town must be a boost for the local area.
Thanks for placing this cache smee1961

Seriously, I must have issues, I could not open the lid, so, we left and came back later. Then the wife went and had a go, instantly, she is a legend! (I know how I went wrong lol)
Then of course the CO arrives home as the wife was looking innocent carrying a bucket from their front yard! Nice to have a chat, thanks for all the caches around town and the local area.

Rounding up a few final caches for 2017 on New Years Eve in the Coolah area! Happy caching in 2018, thank you for the cache! ; ) Feels a bit awkward with these, but hey I’ve done it myself! #700!
I took a stroll along the street to scope out the hide
And kept strolling to another cache after I heard noises coming from the house nearby [:o]
Strolling back,
I had worked out where the cache must be hidden,
and decided that the blatant search option,
was the best
I lifted the lid ...
... and amid the gardening equipment,
found me a cache
Logbook signed,
I fled !! [:o]

Love the name of this cache, could be taken literally !! Yes we found it safe and sound. Good one smee1961 - a favourite is given.
Hate ones on someones front lawn. Police or neighbours only watch and ask what you are doing. So didn't bother here. Decided to stay in Coolah for the night.
Found it - Merry Christmas and Thank you for putting these in Coolah - found while visiting relatives today.
Thank you colleda for mentioning there were snacks in my cache.
Snacks have now been removed.

Arrived at GZ and saw that the appropriate was in place. A nice big container with lots of stuff in it but unfortunately this included quite a few snacks. Not a good idea putting food in caches although it would take a big critter to raid this one! Thanks smee1961
Given the name of this GC I thought I would be taken to the pub. To my surprise I found myself in a quite street of Coolah with homes surrounding me. I was a little wary at first but the hint certainly shed some light. Thanks for the largest and most unusual cache I have come across. I took the Geocoin to move on. Godzilla! I am bringing a little California to my town.
