Checked it out and, as suspected, there has been a little bit of creep. It was about a metre closer to the gorse. It has been in place since 2014 so time to archive and open the area up to a new hide.
It would be nice if some of our old railways were still going, would be good for sightseeing.
Quick find, thanks!
Quick find, thanks!
Have noticed reference to gorse. The cache wasn't hidden in gorse although there was a small bush nearby. Either the cache has crept or the bush has grown. I will check out asap.
I partially blocked off GZ with my car and waited out some nearby muggles. I spotted the hint object after a look around. Ouch, that was a prickly hide. I should've worn less penetrative clothing! Tftc.
Nearly forgot about finding this one, after the walk out to the end. Thanks for putting here, hard a very enjoyable day.
Quick find and cool to know how the jetty was built. Picked up the geocoin. TFTC

Sooo cold and windy but we went for a walk on the mole anyway! I put in a relevant geocoin to the windy weather.
This one was found easy-peasy!

Muggles everywhere even coming out of the sea, but managed to grab cache, sign and put back.
With sea mist around it was a ghostly scene. Soon spotted the rail remains. Good co-ordinates and the hint was great. Tftc
Glad I was able to find this one after the DNF out the end of the breakwater. To getting over failure!
Hard to cedit the infrastructure of this area, must have been quite an undertaking.
Popular area today for swimming even campers out here!
Thanks

A quick find while exploring the Peninsula, I liked the look of these seats in the general area of the cache, reminded me of old railway platform seats. TFTC
A quick find with TregearP whist out on the peninsular before a concert in town tomorrow night. All in good order and thanks for the cache.
Cache # 4,115 - A first cache for the day, in mid-afternoon, with CelloJoss. Easy find before we walked down the beach. TNLNSL. TFTC!

Stopped off for a quick cache before heading to Dunedin for a couple of dts tftc
Headed to Aramoana for a Sunday drive. Quick find before walking to the end of the mole. TFTC
An easy find on a beautiful day on the anniversary of the Aramoana Tragedy. Kia Kaha.
Walksabit had this location on his to do list so I was pleased to see a couple of caches here. I'm glad we walked all the way to the beacon as there was a seal sleeping on the break. We took a picture and moved along to let him continue his sleep. Great views from this location.

A number of cars at the car park today as we visited. All clear at GZ and cache quickly located and replaced. TFTC
A quick find pretty well where expected, while the rest of the Wednesday Walkers wandered on along the mole.
somehow I missed this cache when last out here. today it was a quick fine on a very pleasant winters day.
Has U.N.C.L.E. gone mad? No comment! Still, a treat to find this one after walking the length of the mole...really interesting, as ever...cheers CO!
Able to get this cache while walking the geohounds. The one further along was occupied by salty sea muggles. TFTC
A local is showing us some areas around Dunedin that we'd otherwise miss, so had to pick up some caches too. TFTC
Nice Place
Found after a nice stroll to the end of the mole

What a lovely spot! Visiting our home town for New Years and took some time to check out some of our old favourite beaches. Quick find. Thanks
Even when they have disappeared, railways leave shadows. A great place for a cache. TFTC
Got to park close and with the good hint had it in hand and to think the rail went all the way out there TFTC
In this area for work today and took some time out to hunt some local caches. As well as the caches took some wonderful photos, a beautiful place.
Another cache found in the rain with tmann421 on a fun geocaching trip away.
Thanks for encouraging us to visit this area - good drive around.

Out to the beach with brother and sis-in-law to collect some shells for her upcoming art exhibition Transience (opens 5th May at Robert Piggott Art Gallery, 8 Jetty St, Dunedin {cheeky plug for her there} if anyone is an art fan and would like to take a look). If you have walked the local beach whilst finding the cache you will recognise a lot of the shells.
Making the most of the pseudo holiday. Anniversary day/ Easter and having a Sunday drive on Tuesday. Down to Aramoana and back and enjoying some little walkways in between. Thank you
A lot of people about so had the park the car to block what I was doing. Too many people to attempt doing the cache on the mole.
A nice drive down the bay to grab a few caches. I thought this was going to be a hard one to get with all the muggles around as it was a very nice day but was very easy to grab in between muggles walking by. A quick grab and sign and on to the next one. TFTC
Interesting to read the previous two logs about gorse. The cache was not hidden in gorse. Either there has been cache creep or gorse has become established at GZ since cache was placed. Will check next time I am in the area. Rest assured, I don't hide caches in gorse!
Quick find. From here we walked further to Mole and saw fur seals.
TFTC, greetings from Finland!

Found it after a search that took more time than it should. Just found out it's the furthest found I have. 18740.1km from home! That's worth a favo!
Had to take this on our way back as a car was parked closeby. Fast signe and put it back
