Christmas Eve and a bit of last minute shopping, and caching. Always a surprise with caches long since archived. TNLNSL TFTC
Another micro in Fyshwick, and another find!
Pulled up to GZ and managed to park within 2 metres of the cache.
Hopped out of the car, and in the first place I looked, there was the cache looking very lonely!
Once again it was another mint tin that has survived the harsh Canberra conditions without any finders for 3+ years. Log was in perfectly good shape.
TFTC VikingOlly, cache signed and replaced...

I wouldn't like to do this one during a busy week. Nice and quiet on a Sunday. TFTC VikingOlly.
Nice quick find on a Saturday with no one around .
Many thanks for the hide.
Many thanks for the hide.
Ridgeo-pup and I stopped by Fyshwick for a couple of caches before dog school. No baking this evening - but it was indeed a simple park and grab. TFTC VikingOlly
This afternoon, my grandad and I found most of the caches around Fyshwick. After a short drive from a previous cache, we parked next to GZ. I almost walked right past the cache, but I remembered that the cache might be in a popular hiding spot. And it was - good job on the hide!
Our thanks to VikingOlly.

Stopped by in the geo-bug while in the area today. Just on arrival, a truck with semi-trailer zoomed down the driveway in front of us, it looked like it was going to ram the very secure looking gate. With air brakes fizzing it stopped just in time!
Right on to the cache, which was found quickly and the log was signed with a pen that wasn't working very well!
I am really enjoying the Masters Series, working through it on an opportunity basis! Thanks VikingOlly.
Another date knocked off the geo-caching calendar!
Cheers

Sorry I found this one a little while ago and forgot to log it so now I'm having to play catch up with all my logs (well Mummy is TFTC Found with Scruffyblake, The S's and Charli_Bear
Quick find made hard due to high number of muggels due to the time I went looking
[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]

Yummy!Had an early start to play golf today and the flaming cats woke me before dawn; so instead of going to sleep I thought this would be a perfect time to get a few caches in high muggle areas or where the Geokids probably wouldn't go or not easy to get to. Thanks for a good spot and find.
Found @ 1:48pm on a meandering drive from Manuka to mum & dad's after online scoring the T20 cricket where the Meteors (ACT) lost to the Fire (QLD) on the last ball
A quick find to start, thanks VikingOlly

Managed another undisturbed search and locate for this one late on a Sunday afternoon. TFTC VikingOlly.
My Garmin had GZ about 8 metres elsewhere, but that didn't matter, as it was in the likely place. Thank you for placing a cache in Fyshwick to find when visiting there. It's always nice to have a cache to find in the area, when visiting Fyshwick to shop. In fact, Fyshwick could do with more. TFTC VikingOlly.
Quick find. My Garmin showed 5 meters at the cache which is quite acceptable.
Thanks to VikingOlly [^][^][^]

I was right in the area the other week but didn't realise there was a cache nearby so I grabbed it today instead.
A quick find for me on the way meeting zt07 for an Amazon Adventure. No smell of baking in the air today though. SL, TFTC
I have started a new job just around the corner. So I had to do this on the way home. Thanks VikingOlly
I used to come to this place to fill up the first and at the time only natural gas cab in Canberra. I enjoyed coming here more to do this cach though. 4am in the morning is a grim time in Fyshwick! Minor pun intended ,

Nice little hide in a familiar spot. We couldn't smell the baking here today, and it looked like the bakery had closed down. Further on we could smell the bread though and it is great to see that the business is still going. TFTC - picked up with GrimRaider on a lunch time Fyshwick run.
Not much happening here this morning, making for a quick find, no alluring odour anymore.
Accompanied with all7 for the day, we enjoyed drive and find cache. Signed the log. Thank you VikingOlly
#2574 - 08:15; I had to drop the geomobile off to the doctor this morning, so thought i'd grab the daily cache on the way. My first stop was a little busy muggle wise, so I continued on a little further to bag this cache. I could have parked closer, but the short walk presented no problems and i soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. The streak is now inching forward towards 366 days, with 23 days left to go! TFTC VikingOlly
The bakery isn't there anymore so easy peasy find, parked about 3m from the cache!
It gets tricky geocaching with a sleeping kid in the car. But thankfully we didn't even have to turn the engine off for this one. Found, signed, returned, and the kid kept sleeping! *yay* TFTC
A quick park 'n grab on this one. I parked the car as close as I could, and Fraggles had the honour of making the quick find, and then signed in the comfort of the car. A handy find with the geobub asleep in the back. Thanks for the cache!
TFTC. Picked this one up on a quick spin around Fyshwick with SecretSquirrel-BJC.
I need to get out more. I've only done one cache since last weekend, a multicache which I started on Monday (in good weather) and finished yesterday, in bad weather, which got worse as the day went on. This morning, however, is lovely, if a little windy. We're having a late start, as I had various things to do before I could go caching. The GeoSchnauzers and I are ready to go out now. Its the warmest part of the day. Don't get too excited, it's 9 degrees Centigrade, apparent temperature 1.5 deg. Sunny, though.
This was a quick park and grab, TFTC. You get a favorite point for the smell of fresh bread baking!!!

Found during the lunch break of a workshop I was attending. Had to go for a stroll to try and stay awake. TFTC
Found it! We ran into some fellow geocaches on the way and the bread smelt great TFTC
Great day out for caching with Everlasting & skyejam - enjoyed this area. Thanks for bringing us here ★★★
Accompanied with skyejam and sevabo for the day, meet new geocachers and introduce ourselves , signed the log. Thanks VikingOlly.
It was a lovely aroma while searching. This search was quick as TaurusSix had parked almost right on top of it.
Wow!! Has to be the easiest park and grab i have ever done.
Many thanks..nice hide

8282 + 989 = 9271. Quick find on a lunchtime run with Sol de Lune.
Parked at GZ and made a quick find without too many muggles around. Wish there were more caches out this way !
Thanks again VikingOlly !

Everything was a bit damp out this morning, but I had a list to get done and this was first. No one about here today so a nice quick grab. Thanks.

Another of the Masters series and this one definitely had the same flavor as the one around the corner. Didn't even need to pop out the GPS gear for this and Mr Stormcatcher went straight to it. It was very quiet here today. TFTC and series VikingOlly
3487. A quick visit to Fyshwick on a Saturday morning to grab some bits and pieces and a cache or two.
No muggles here this morning and the GPSr took me straight to the hide.

Found on a rainy day, in an attempt to get our cache count up to 2999, so that we were prepared to get a special cache for 3000. A quick drive to the factory - didn't realise that this was here. Parked in front of GZ for a very quick sign and replace. TFTC VO!
I had some chores to do nearby so I stopped by and found the cache. Sweet, a nice simple hide! Thanks VikingOlly!
A nice quick find at 1725 - which was a relief, as I was losing the feeling in my fingers and nose by the time I got back to the car!
My GPSr was telling me I still had 5-6m to travel - giving me two potential sites to search - but that could well have been exacerbated by the cloud cover. Logic prevailed and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache VikingOlly.

Well doesn't this weather just SUCK!!! Lol but what's makes this crazy "streak" idea a lot easier especially in this weather is caches like this one.
After last nights issues with the cache that took forever to find in the cold miserable rain then the car displaying the engine light I thought my streak was done for. Luckily enough the new day brought new things. The engine light disappeared (maybe the car was frozen too?) and the weather was a little nicer for the cache retrieval.
Left work and headed towards fyshwick. Lots of traffic around as it's close to knock off time for everyone. Luckily when I arrived the close parking section was empty, beauty!!! Made a nice park n grab from this one and to my suprise picked up a *TTF* at the same time. Nice
Thanks for this one vikingollly as I was really dreading today's find but this made it heaps easier. Time to head home to some warm blankets!
