Quick guess, find, retrieval, sign and departure. Jumped in the car and took off and then noticed a solitary lady just standing down from where I had been "working". She didn't move so may probably didn't even notice me. TFTC VikingOlly.

What a great way to take in the scenery around the ACT & NSW, spend time with like minded people, find a variety of local caches and taste some of the regions signature wines. Bouncing signals or waves here threw folk in many directions until some serious searching uncovered the cache.
Our thanks to VikingOlly for bringing us here.

Everywhere we drive around Canberra, the Nuvi screen is like a patchwork quilt of caches. Among some non-caching commitments, this is one of the caches we found today as we toured around.

Joey Loves Treasure organised a few of us to go out on a tour of wineries and caches after a social breakfast in Kingston. I was in a car with JLT and ZQX, but plenty of other cachers joined the tour! Breakfast Club?
This was the tenth or eleventh cache of day - I had lost count by now! A quick find by JLT who was quick to make the grab.
Thanks VikingOlly for the cache!

This afternoon, my grandad and I found most of the caches around Fyshwick. After a short drive from a previous cache, we parked near this one. I soon spotted the cache and after a bit of manouvering, I had it in hand. Nice hide - no muggles were around today, so that was a bonus.
Our thanks to VikingOlly!

With the spare-daughter actually having a Sunday off (which is not all that frequent) she requested a nice long caching trip that included some hills and exercise so who was I to argue with that! Having collected a piece to the Invasion of Canberra multi not far from here we took the advantage of reasonably desserted Sunday traffic to make the quick find.
Nice easy find. Is never thought about all the possible interferences in this area before. Tftc!!
Had an early start to play golf today and the flaming cats woke me before dawn; so instead of going to sleep I thought this would be a perfect time to get a few caches in high muggle areas or where the Geokids probably wouldn't go or not easy to get to. Thanks for a good spot and find.
Quick find to celebrate Christmas and 701. Good time in Fyshwick as we are all alone!
Found @ 2:04pm on a meandering drive from Manuka to mum & dad's after online scoring the T20 cricket where the Meteors (ACT) lost to the Fire (QLD) on the last ball
I no trouble finding this one as it was in the first place I looked, thanks again VikingOlly

Really quiet down here late on a Sunday afternoon, so no problems spotting the container. Might be a bit more of a challenge during the working week. TFTC VikingOlly.
I think it may have been way harder to find this one on the night before we picked this one up. Found a tie hanging off the nearby tree! Must have been some party

We thought we would stick to a theme, so came across to pick up this cache. Nice little hide that GrimRaider had sorted out without too much fuss. Just have to watch for the muggles. Thanks again VO - nice little series
Beautiful clear afternoon for chasing Fyshwick caches. This one had me on all fours!
Found myself in this street but the business I wanted to attend was closed early, grrr, have to come back on Monday grrrrr, anyway there's a cache here somewhere and yes made the find with the help of the hint, the description and the iPhone.
#2584 - 12:40; I'd done a drive by earlier in the week, but there were too many muggles to stop to make the find, so I headed over for one in a quieter location. Back in the area today with the geohoney for some browsing in the local furniture boutiques, I dropped her and headed back here for a quick find and sign. Disaster struck as I was signing the log as I noticed my writing implement was leaking severely. Luckiliy only a small spot on the back of the log book, none on the clothes, but all over the fingers. Luckily I managed to clean my hands with some materials kept in the geomobile for just such an emergency, before returning the cache to its hide. TFTC VikingOlly
Straight to the cache and quickly found and logged. Gps pointed straight to the cache.
Our second for the day. Geokid 3 looked and missed but with a little prompt it was found. TFTC
Wasptor didn't stand a chance of finding this one before I did... lol Had it in my hand before he had even looked up. TFTC
We were expecting a bit of trouble finding this one after reading the description on the trip in, but thankfully once we were on the scene Fraggles picked up the cache before I'd even looked up from the GPS. Thanks for the interesting cache...
A quick lunchtime trip out here to get some parts for an upcoming cache, decided to grab this on the way back. Despite knowing of this place, I can't remember ever going there. I do remember several visits to a similar establishment in the next street though (now occupied by a pie shop).
Cache found quickly after waiting for a few muggles to pass.
Thanks for the cache and 73.

Found 6:09 pm. Needed my daily today and as I was in the area renting ski gear I might as well do one nearby. Headed over and then tried to figure out where, according to Google Earth which seems to be quite accurate the cache was at the tree but that didn't seem likely given the cache description. So a nearby likely spot was there, it was a matter of looking down low and yep there it was. Signed the log and then replaced cache back to where it was. TFTC.
It was a bit tricky looking for this one with all the interference and finding a break in the traffic (I'm sure we looked a bit dodgy). Gumby Maca and I ended up relying on the map rather than the compass and we soon had the cache in hand. Fun hunt - TFTC.
[green]Out in Fyshwick for a spot of shopping, and being Sunday it was also a great opportunity to grab this tricky little cache. Once we arrived at GZ we put away our electronics and used some common nouse to select the likely spot, and [purple]Binni[green] did the low down limbo to secure the prize [^] This is number 2 for our 7 souvenirs of August [blue]Thanks for the cache VikingOlly
Parked across the road and I were happy to make a quick find without few muggles around. It was lovely sunny and warm today
I need to get out more. I've only done one cache since last weekend, a multicache which I started on Monday (in good weather) and finished yesterday, in bad weather, which got worse as the day went on. This morning, however, is lovely, if a little windy. We're having a late start, as I had various things to do before I could go caching. The GeoSchnauzers and I are ready to go out now. Its the warmest part of the day. Don't get too excited, it's 9 degrees Centigrade, apparent temperature 1.5 deg. Sunny, though.
Fifth find of six for today. This was a quick park and grab, TFTC. No muggles around - Saturday arvo is great in a light industrial area!!

Great day out for caching with Everlasting & skyejam - enjoyed this area. Thanks for bringing us here ★★★
Accompanied with skyejam and sevabo for the day, we enjoyed search, found, signed the log. Thanks VikingOlly.
This one I found out in the open. I assumed based on the contents of the cache that it belonged about 2m away and that is where I left it.
I had a look at this cache on thursday afternoon, it seemed that all of canberra was in kembla street. So I tried a quiet saturday late afternoon and not a person in sight. Cache found as per the hint but nowhere where I expected it to be. Thanks VikingOlly
Forgot to log this from a Quick and quite Sunday Caching run in Fyshwick.
GPS really didn't like this location at all.
managed to be far enough away from GZ after i parked the car to get a general direction and distance of where i needed to be.
great hide, but really not sure how long it will last
thanks VikingOlly

I have previously 'scouted' this one during the week it was too busy to locate. So, Crystal Warrior and I returned on a Sunday to a very quiet street and had a good look around before the cache was spotted, as the hint suggested but I really did not expect this location! Thanks VikingOlly!
No one around today and with the cold wind did not want to spend too much time looking. W6R spotted it first in a rather strange spot. Not sure how long it will last here.
8281 + 989 = 9270. Quick find on a lunchtime run with Sol de Lune.

Turned out to be a quick find this one. Parked across the road, walked out and tried that spot....cache found.
Everything was a bit damp out this morning, but I had a list to get done and this was first. I have even bought a few things here. Thanks.

3488. A quick visit to Fyshwick on a Saturday morning to grab some bits and pieces and a cache or two.
No muggles here this morning and I eventually found it, but not in the first few spots I looked.

Found on a rainy day, in an attempt to get our cache count up to 2999, so that we were prepared to get a special cache for 3000. A short drive within a familiar part of town, however we always find something new in Fyshwick everytime we go caching. Parked at a nearby carpark, quickly walked to GZ, no one was looking, so it was a very quick find. Interesting position to put a cache in. Couldn't find the radio reference here, obviously wasn't looking hard enough. TFTC VO!
We headed to this one after work. On route we heard from Rapidlywild who had the same idea, she had been searching for a while, coming up with the find just as we arrived. Bit of a chat in the cold, then back to the cars for some well deserved heat. Interesting to see how long this one will stay, stealth is required due to the many watchful eyes from many angles. TFTC
Hooley Dooley that certainly took longer than it should have!!!
5pm on a weekday is DEFINATELY not the right time to attempt this one, actually any business hours would be bad for this one. I was being watched most the time by the receptionist across the road who must have wondered how many phone calls can one person have at this time of the evening out in that terribly cold weather!!
Coords jumped around a lot so finding the GZ was pretty difficult and it took ages to get. By the time I had found it, FurfacesLL duo had arrived to collect their daily also ello ladies [:p]
We completed the logging duties and it was time to get back into the semi warm geomobile. OMG I cannot feel my face no longer.....
Thanks for the daily cache to keep the streak ongoing VikingOlly

The vague coordinates and description had me searching all over the place. I contacted Tankengine who gave me a description of the location and I got it today. Thanks to VO for the cache and TE for the help.
Hmm, 5pm on a weekday might not be the ideal time to hunt this one out - maybe I should wait for the local establishments to wind up their day's trade first!
What a difference 40 minutes makes! Actually, not that much - the car people were still outside doing car things, but at least most of the businesses had shut up shop.
My search area jumped from one side of the road to the other between visits, so I suspect my initial reccy was based on the original coordinates. On this occasion I had some natural camo (and a car) to provide a level of stealth, and when the GPSr said '0m' I checked (somewhat disbelievingly) in the only likely location and came up trumps.
Thanks for the cache VikingOlly.

Coordinates changed to:
S 35° 19.412 E 149° 10.485
Distance from original: 60.7 feet or 18.5 meters.
Co-ordinates modified slightly after a meeting with TankEngine and Goldenwattle onsite, to compare notes on the exact location. This should make the cache a lot easier to find. Many thanks team!

Noticed this was still log-less and since we were heading over this way our curiosity meant we had to check it out . As we pulled up we noticed some familiar faces hanging out randomly on the streets of Fyswick having a chat as so often happens...almost could class this as a mini flashmob. Least it made finding the cache easy and we decided to throw our name on the log while we were here. TFTC and another in the series VO .
Chooo ooo *FTF* with Goldenwattle! We took ages for this one! Spent well over 1/2 an hour, searching and searching - and there were not so many places to search! Was about to give up, and decided to email the CO... Luckily an answer was soon received, but turns out it didn't help Was about to give up a second time, when VO turned up, and assisted! Phew! OK - coordinates were a bit off - we hadn't quite expanded the search that far! Shortly after that Stormcatchers turned up also, so a bit of a chat all round, and off again! Thanks VikingOlly!

Joint FTF with Tankengine. We both turned up to try for the FTF and searched for ages and were considering a DNF, when Tankengine emailed the CO VikingOlly. A hint came back and very closely following VikingOlly turned up too. Thank you for assisting us find the correct spot, on the other side of the road. Then both STORMCATCHERS rocked up. Thanks for another cache VikingOlly.
