### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there geordiefamily,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Took 6 yo geo girl to where she used to go to Kinder. She was very excited. Squished our signature on the very full log.

"Houston, we have bud burst!" More than that, we have blossom, lots and lots of camouflaging blossom. But not enough. Interestingly, John's just received one of these -- you have been warned. The log is full and the o-ring seal is missing. Logged over the top of someone sufficiently faded to be unreadable anyhow! TFTC!

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.

Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.

Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you geordiefamilyfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Catching up with some late logs

We were heading down to Bushfire's 80th birthday event with alansee and micaparamedic and planned to arrive early to look for a few caches, this was the first one of them.

This is another TV that we haven't watched or even heard about but again at least it bought us together with the same objective of locating this cache. We could see that this one could be difficult to find at times but today we had the area totally to ourselves and again with so many eyes looking it only took a minute or two to locate the little devil.

Thanks again for the cache.

Another one that fell easily to us today as we made our way around some of these.

I watched The League of Gentlemen a few years ago and whilst I enjoyed it, the humour is a little too dark and bleak for me. The stocky guy in the show then went on to appear in Benidorm, which is more my bag! And Little Britain, I still repeat all the catchphrases from that show. I used to work with Louise, who’s claim to fame was that she grew up where League of Gentlemen was filmed.
Anyway, I do enjoy a good cache series so this one was on my itinerary today, to collect all the clues.
I somehow missed this cache in my itinerary, but realised when I didn't have enough clues. I actually drove past here this morning and it was choc o block, so it was for the best! Not a soul here now early evening, and with the help of the hint I found the small cache. Thanks

Had my eye on this one for a while. Being very close to home it was saved it for a nice quick one to start the new year off.

A short search and soon had cache in hand. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Looking for a quick find on the way home. This one fit the bill. With the hint, this was difficult enough to find to be satisfying. TFTC

20-Jun-17
Shopping on this side of town today, we decided to gather a smilie nearby. The hint was not all-too helpful as we don't understand imperial measures too well. Yet, it was a quick find: The trees have shed their leaves for winter. They could do with a thorough pruning - however, the messy twigs and branches gave us a little bit of protection from the eyes of the visitors in the nearby childcare centre.
Thanks for introducing us to Mr Chinnery, geordiefamily

10-Jun-17
I was visiting some friends who live just across the road from this cache so I decided to take the opportunity to add it to my found list. It took a bit of time to decide which tree it was (my gps was jumping around a bit) and which side of the tree. There was also an annoying bird standing in the carpark that seemed to think it was a metal detector or something as it kept squawking at me. However, I soon had the cache in hand and signed it. TFTC.

27-May-17
No muggles so a quick find today. Thanks geordiefamily.

The Geokids and I have looked for this before with no success... although there were no leaves when we went looking! Thanks for the updated hint definitely made it a bit easier to find this time, and the kids were thrilled that after our 3rd hunt we found it! Thanks for the Cache!

23-Dec-16
Sneaky little hide here! Had a look around for a bit, the hint did help though! It's a nice shady spot to sit, and I was lucky enough to get there while it was fairly quiet! TFTC

We arrived at the gz and had the area to ourselves to search, I am guessing that it may of been a little busier tomorrow morning though. It was Yoshi who spotted this well hidden little hide, thanks geordiefamily for the cache.

I found a couple in this series whilst working my way towards the Bellarine Peninsula. This was a quite easy find despite its size as the clue is specific and accurate.
Thanks

**Big Grin Smile # *3904* / Traditional # *2994* Big Grin**

I was unsure on where this one would be on looking at the map. I decided to make the detour after work tonight to look for this one. I picked a good time but still had to wait out some worker muggles leaving for the day. You know when Spring is around the corner when you see some great blossoms coming out. I spotted the hide, waited a little longer for a curious muggle to finally leave then made the grab. Signed and returned as found.

**Thanks for this trad cache, geordie family** [^]
**Cache container and log in good condition**

Found by Mary & David at 1120. We're nor familiar with this series. The car park was full, but their muggle owners/passengers were all elsewhere. Spotted the cache after a circuit of GZ. Our thanks to geordiefamily.

Just as I was about to give up... after looking at several options I spotted the sneaky little hide... wouldnt try this on a Sunday.

19-Jun-16
Had to resort to the hint and then got a good feeling.

16-Jun-16
We were so fortunate this am to find no muggles about and also no leaves on the GZ tree but it still did take us some time to find this well camoed cache against its background. What a great hiding spot.
TFTC geordiefamily and for the challenge this one gave us.

11-Jun-16
Our geo-family decided to get a late outdoors day cache and did a check and within minutes we were at GZ, no muggles and after 5 minutes and a gps check the log was signed! TFTC

Out and about on a cold winter's day, looking for some quick finds betrween appointments. There were cars parked everywhere as we approached the GZ. Our luck was in, there was room for a car or two left. After a couple of circuits of the tree we spotted sneaky Mr Chinnery.

Our thanks to geordiefamily for placing this cache.

In Geelong for a game of golf and just had time to grab a couple of smilies. Lots of muggles here but managed to find and sign this little cache without anyone seeing. Thanks geordiefamily

25-May-16
This one took two visits - a little tricky to be inconspicuous with a playgroup centre nearby and plenty of attentive mums during the day. The hint helped, as did fewer leaves, though it still took a few rounds to spot the sneaky nano in the tree. TFTC

10-May-16
It was a cold and windy morning so no muggles were loitering. After very close inspection I spotted the prize. TFTC

04-May-16
Deciding the cover of darkness was the best time to do the remaining 9 in this series we teamed up once again with our caching mate DAB and headed out on this brisk night to turn these LOG's into smilies. We had heard rumours of dastardly hides so armed with torches and 3 sets of eyes we were able to find the variety of sneaky hides and add our name to them all, giving us the right information to make the final cache ours as well.
**Thanks geordiefamily for the effort gone into this series**.

04-May-16
With an hour to spare tonight, I once again joined forces with The_Tritonz. After a quick chat, we decided to attempt this series. Even though the night was cool, jumping in and out of the car soon warmed us up. There was a nice variety in both the hides and cache containers. Thanks for en enjoyable hunt. TFTC geordiefamily Smile

30-Apr-16
Nice find

29-Apr-16
Out with MaggieDot on a wet day to start this series. The logs threw us off for awhile, but we eventually looked in the right spot.. TFTC

29-Apr-16
A day off! Hooray! Despite the wet weather AutumnTree and I took advantage of our freedom to see how much of this series we could get through before I had an appointment to get to.

Realised at this point that some of these caches are best attempted out-of-hours! This one was ok though - maybe because of the weather? We were totally thrown by all the notes about the cache's location. We would have been better off to have ignored them all and just looked, because when we did that the cache was found straight away. Had no problems reaching it at all fortunately.

TFTC!

28-Apr-16
Cache is still high, I cannot reach it, so until further notice it is around 6ft up and on outer part of tree. Will try to get there at weekend with someone who can reach.

26-Apr-16
I thought I'd pull in here and do a quick find for the daily cache, but the area seems to be a child care area ?
I had a very brief search but wasn't feeling that comfortable loitering around ...so I moved on.
I'll come back another day out of hrs.
26/04/2016, 1:07 PM Find #1234

19-Apr-16
Judging by the exposed location and the comments of those who finally claimed it, seems like it should be a higher degree of difficulty.

18-Apr-16
From what I was told yesterday a previous finder has taken it upon themselves to place this cache around 6 feet in the air instead of eye level for me (5'2") as it was originally placed. I was told its now out on a limb. When I can get there later this week I will replace it as it should be. In the meantime please extend your search and future finders, please replace as you find it.

17-Apr-16
Found it but needed the assistance of our new geofriend. Thanks for ur help. Tricky find

17-Apr-16
Arrived near GZ.. saw a lady with daughter standing there.. assume they are geocacher.
Finding with 6 eyes the better.
Found it nicely when my gps is pointing at it.
Lovely meeting you Boggad. Surprised)

15-Apr-16
We were dropping one of the girls off for a youth night, so had a look while we were here. No luck, so checked for a hint. Still no luck, so read the logs ......... more confused than ever now......eye level of a dwarf or someone on anothers shoulders? Big difference! Looked and looked and looked. Called home to get someone to check the placement on a bigger map.......checked the middle tree....checked the middle of each tree. .....ran our hands along each branch. Eventually tried a PAF. Even with directions (thanks vamp1blade!), it took a little bit to spot this tricky little hide. TFTC!

14-Apr-16
Sneaky bugger! Eye level for who? A dwarf?! Another find by the McPhail family

14-Apr-16
Well they must of been sitting on someones shoulders for this, my eyes are possibly vertically challenged. Thanks McPhailFamily for a fun evening

12-Apr-16
After a second attempt with the skilled Lara folk, we found it. Lots of muggles to spot this one.

12-Apr-16
2nd one in the series. Easy find... if you ignore the gps and use geoinstinct and the hint. Wonder how this one will go once all the leaves fall off the trees? And isn't this cache technically on church property? Tftc.

11-Apr-16
This one was nice and tricky. Depends on where you stand for hint to apply. Well hidden

11-Apr-16
I tried this one earlier today, but DNF. Instead had a lovely discussion about trees with one of the locals for 15-20 mins.
Now it's Monday night Geodate with SueHut. The sunlight coming in at *just* the right angle gave it away this time.
Thanks heaps, geordiefamily!

05-Apr-16
Suscoe decided to sort of what had to be done today with this League of Gentlemen series which appeared while we were in another place looking for caches.
Interesting doing some research into this TV series which we didn't know much about. Seems that the fictional town was based on Alston in Cumbria, the very town which Mr. S's ancestors came from before they left for the Creswick goldfields back in the 1800's.

On to today, a sunny day greeted us with some high cloud and a very strong wind.
A nice hide, sometimes these ones just stay still and you can't see what you should be able to see. After a few laps we spotted it.
Thanks to the geordiefamily for this cache.

spent 10 mins looking in dark the other night. today i found in 2 seconds Smile was smaller then i expected

Out and about with Jason and Chris grabbing all of these new caches that were published last night but at the time after a beer and a couple of wines I decided to give them a miss but more than twelve hours later we still managed to grab a few FTF's including the final, so you have to be happy with that.
Jason was right on to this guy , so with our names in the log it time to head to the next.

01-Apr-16
Continued the search with Darth Briji and Bushfire to complete the series. The hint may depend on the individual bug it was soon spotted. Signed and replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache geordiefamily
