So disappointing to have so many very well hidden containers go missing. Yes, it is very unusual, but I would have appreciated them being returned. I don't have any more. I may replace the series at a later date. Thanks to all who gave the mini skull a FP.

28-Sep-18
I suspect that this container gets stolen by geocachers who have never seen a container like it. It is too well camouflaged for muggles to discover and disappears often. Disheartened.

17-Sep-18
Didn't find any of these Gap Rd caches today, absolutely gutted. I was sure that I was in the right spot, alas the cache was not there. I'll have to try another day.

05-Apr-18
Night caching. Clue no help and satellites not helping here. Gave up and moved on. Pity.

10-Feb-18
spent 20 mins trying to find gave up! think it’s missing:(

04-Feb-18
Still smells! Couldn’t write our details as it is so little. Loved the find:)

04-Feb-18
Love this one! Carcass still smelling so that gave us a good clue. Very apt container

10-Jan-18
Found quickly by geokid 15. Didn’t write on log as I don’t trust that I could roll it back up that small. Unfortunately a very smelly dead carcass nearby. TFTC

Had a rare free Saturday with the family overseas so I planned a day of caching on Phillip Island. The forecast 40 degree heat didn't deter me though I tried to plan caches without too much walking and of course I avoided the area closed due to fire danger. This was probably the hottest part of the day so I tried along here for a few park 'n' grabs. After a DNF at the previous I was pleased to make the find here without too much trouble. My fifteenth find of 30 for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache tassieexpat.

30-Dec-17
We thought the quickest way to do this set of caches was on bike. We parked down the GP end of the track and started the ride up. Thanks goes to the clue for this one. Without it, I don't think we would have found it. Nice camo on the container.

So small I almost missed it

02-Dec-17
Another great one Smile. Thankyou so much for the fun! Almost fooled me. Lucky daughter has a closer look. Didn't sign log but we have photographic evidence if required.

Took a day off work today to join the Kids excursion to Phillip Island surfing. I arrived 3hrs early, as you do, and explored as many local beaches and short walks that I could. Some amazing beaches around here that I gave never been to before, and plenty of rocks which I love clambering around. Any off to assist with the surfing now, but maybe a few more sneaky cache later on this afternoon. TFTC

On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.

We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.

Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.

Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

16-Nov-17
In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.

We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.

We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.

We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.

Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.

Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!

Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.

Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.

Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

*A day out and about on a wild and windy Phillip Island.
After lunch we checked our list of unfounds and noticed this little clutch among the trees.*
The wind had picked up and it was freezing, luckily checked the hint first and retrieved the little devil quickly.

**Note to CO** This cache is in need of a fresh dry log please.

Thanks tassieexpat for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

11-Apr-17
After a hard day sightseeing in Phillip Island we decided to grab one more cache. We did. Nice cache. Thanks. Silkyie.

03-Apr-17
Having given up on the previous one, we found this one a quick snappy time. Thanks for the hide. It blended in very nicely.

01-Mar-17
Suscoe found this one pretty quickly this time, how did we miss that last time.

Suffering an 'out of body' experience, we found poor Kathryn stuck in a tree this morning. SL at 10.48am #4257 TFTC tassieexpat. At first we suspected it may have been a different type of hide, but the clue made it plain.

02-Dec-16
Sneaky hide here, which we almost discarded. Kathryn was looking a little worse for wear.
As usual unrolling the log and then rolling it up took longer than the find.

09-Oct-16
Checked this today to find that someone had taken the main part of the cache and had left the nano behind. Not a happy CO. Luckily I'd brought my spare.

08-Oct-16
My goodness, what a sneaky find this one was!
Plenty of forks in the tree to choose from, but it the end we saw something out of the corner of our eye on the ground that turned out to be just what we were looking for.
We did need to use our fandangled tool to extract the log from the cache to be able to sign it.
The 'camo' seems to have come apart from the container itself, so it may need a quick maintenance job done on it.
We replaced the cache where we think it should have been, ready for the next adventurer! TFTC

08-Oct-16
Quick Joint find with Niclibsteph. TFTC.

Found with my family - becca85, boo09 & chan02 as well as GemmaSistma & boys on a roadtrip for the school holidays. Sorry for the very tardy logging. TFTC

29-Sep-16
Found during our super fun roadtrip to Phillip Island with my Team Clarmensma family - becca85, GemmaSistema, neisha07, Adam & Lukey. We found lots of caches and saw lots of different animals- including a penguin in the wild! TFTC! Smile

29-Sep-16
School holiday time once again which means Team Clarmensma is formed (myself+GemmaSistema+neisha07+boo09+Adam+Luke) and one lucky destination gets to hist us. Wink
This time it was Phillip Island and decided to make a 3 day road-trip of it.
The weather treated us fairly well and we enjoyed the many beautiful views and landscapes that we were taken to. TFTC!

29-Sep-16
In Philip Island for a few days of caching with becca85 and our geokids - Adam, Luke, neisha07 and boo09. Ooh another little one! Happy to get this relatively quickly as it could be tough! Many thanks!

24-Sep-16
Met a couple of new cachers and their kids here - Hi guys. lol

Cache found on ground after a brief search.

On the Island for a few of the Pathway caches, so made a detour for a few of the Gap Road caches.

A nice easy find here - thanks tassieexpat for the cache.

Doing a bit of a drive and grab session on my way to doing some volunteer research work with the penguins down at Summerland. Kathryn did take a little snuffling around but turned up eventually, very neat little hide, thanks Smile

20-Apr-16
Previously spent considerable time looking for this one but to no avail. This time however it was found in a few minutes after light had failed. Maybe using torches helped. Sign the small log and replaced. Nice to finally succeed. TFTC

18-Apr-16
Tried this side and that, with tools and a little wider, but Kathryn was nowhere to be found.

10-Apr-16
After 3 attempts over 3 days we have walked away empty handed... After 1 he reading about kathryn it is a disappointing outcome

18-Mar-16
A quick find once we found GZ. It was a dreadful day for caching today but still managed to find a few. Loved this hide. TFTC

13-Mar-16
A nice simple bike ride for the littlest Morcs's and the rest of us athletic types who were recovering from a big long weekend night on the kitchen tiles. We've just worked out who Kathryn Howard was, and are feeling glad to still have our heads attached to our little necks. Never trust a man in a neckruff, pantaloons and a codpiece. Nice cache and theme, thanks tassieexpat.

13-Mar-16
We biked this trail with Vanessa&Aodh and Mark&Kelly. Some of us were still distracted by all the classic cars driving back and forth from the track. However, find by Vanessa. We just worked out who Kathryn Howard is. Tftc

13-Mar-16
Found it! Alas poor Kathryn, her neck was slender and as a result had difficulty keeping her head on her shoulders. We had far less problems finding this cache as Vanessa's neck seems to work just fine and as a result so do her eyes...TFTC...

07-Mar-16
It was nearly dinner time, so we decided to cache our way back to Cowes via this little series up Gap Road. After the previous DNF we were relieved to find this tiny little one fairly quickly as Chunk was lucky enough to be at the right place and right angle to happen to spot it. TFTC tassieexpat.

06-Mar-16
So small. Smile

20-Feb-16
Found by Mary & David at 1625. This one took us ages, even with the clue. Spent too much time looking on the wrong side of the path. Our thanks to tassieexpat.

30-Jan-16
Love it. TFTC. Its been a while since I went caching and this was a great one to get back into it with xx

28-Jan-16
This was a quick find with the clue, which was appreciated. I'm not sure who Kathryn Howard is though!

16-Jan-16
We had this on our site and completed the series this morning and some extra once along the way, there were some clever , some tricky hides. The weather was good to us and got all done incident free. Most enjoyable day. TFTC

16-Jan-16
Too difficult for us

16-Jan-16
Found with great excitement. TFTC

15-Jan-16
Out today for some Birthday caches so we thought we would come to the Phillip Island area for a change, this one took us a little while but after a closer look we had the very clever cache in hand, nice hide.

28-Dec-15
Found at 2:29 PM GAFF1.
Gosh - these caches are not for your usual power trail finder. You really have to search and look for the cache round here. Is that a mini Kathryn Howard holding the cache.
Thanks tassieexpat.

27-Dec-15
Sneaky cache!

09-Dec-15

Down from Canberra for a MEGA geo-getaway geomission Big GrinCoolBig Grin

Today's geomission was to head off to Phillip Island to target several Earth caches at low tide and to nab a whole stack of others as well Big Grin

This one was one of a whole stack I found during my Philip Island geomission. Apologies for the generic logs-I can't remember them all but I enjoyed my day caching and sightseeing! SmileCool

Thanks for the hide, tassieexpat Smile
