We headed up to the Old Customs house for the weekend, with the purpose of taking the little boat out to do the last of the Corners, ticking off our bucket list.
I love the history of this historic town.

As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache.
We headed out to find a couple of Christmas day caches. There were still a few muggles around here on Christmas day, none seem to worry what we were up to.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

[Teal] As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
A nice spot to viewing the river on Christmas Day
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

This took a little while as GPS had us in a few placed but then decided to play the game and settle hen was a quick find. TFTC
An interesting site, and I saw another interesting sight. While I was here an interesting 'houseboat' docked - with windmill, chooks, hills hoist carrying bra and undies, shrubbery and lots of other stuff, and loudspeaker blaring out country music. Called his craft "Chooks on the move" or something like that. Perhaps he's in town for the John Williamson concert this weekend.
Geocaching (combined with chance) has given me another great experience. TFTC Moneydork.

Our second Renmark cache! What a lovely part of the town and to be brought to by a cache. No pesky muggles today. Tftc Moneydork
A few days ago, I turned up here to nab this cache.
But a muggle had laid out half a dozen fishing rods along the wharf and was sitting at GZ
At least I got to see the star of the show chug past
Yep !! the "PS Industry" steamed and tooted past as I stood on the bank
Today the area was muggle free !!
And the cache was mine, all mine in under 30 seconds
TFTC !!
I remember using these docking facilities a few years ago on my own, non-steam powered paddle down the Murray from Yarrawonga to Mannum

Find number 78 of 78 found while on a Vietnam veterans trip up to Lightning Ridge in northern N.S,W. We travelled through Broken Hill,Bourke,Wallgett, then onto the Ridge. Our return was back down to Willcania,Medindee, Wentworth,Berri, then home to Kadina. Finding caches on the way added more interest to the trip. Thanks for the hide.
We found this cache today in company of ColdFreeze at 6:30pm as number 1 of 1 on our wak into Renmark. No-one here today after not being able to search yesterday due to muggles. Today, the cache was in the first placed checked. Glad it was here. There was almost no 2nd go to option in this spot. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Visited today but kids fishing right at GZ meant that we couldn't even begin to search.
Nice hide but couldn't sign the log too risky with the kids gushing off the log. Tftc
TFTC out with family who are visiting from Perth pity about the miserable weather so much for being spring possums are pretty cute though.
Today we had no plan! [^] So after some maintenace on the GeoCruiser it was nearly 11am already.
Hmmm what will we do[?] Mrs Felix suggested a drive to the border - just beacause we can Well Im not sure how or why but that's exactly what we did.
Of course we managed to grab just a few caches along the way and it was a great chance to drop off some trackables that we have had for far too long.
This was on our way home and we were investigating booking a ride on the PS Industry for later this week. After making our inquiries we bimbled on over here. We could see an 'eclipse' container out in the open on the deck and thought we were on a winner finding a 'dumped' ready to be used container. Opened it up and found the logbook. [B)] Duh. Now to replace it in the obvious spot.
Thanks to Moneydork for helping us explore this wonderful area. [^]

Found this one with Mrs B easily without being hassled by muggles. Being a weekday/non-holiday helps too!

As the old saying goes, always in the last place you look..and sometimes the first as well. Great view of the river. Thanks for this cache.
Central Australia trip Crossing the Simpson and Innaminka, August 2014. After many years away from the Oodnadatta track and Innaminka, it was time for a another tour. This time in Company with seven cars to tackle the obstacles. Caching opportunities were a little thin, but the ones that were out here are all in great places. It is really nice near the river and I would love to go on a tour of the boat at some stage. Thanks.

Getting towards the home leg of our SA trip, and a more relaxing day around the Riverland and Mildura.
A lovely rest area, and because it's cold and still very early in the day, muggle free.
Thanks Moneydork for the cache.
