Yeah co-ords nowhere near it. Probably should update them. Cache in good order. Thanks for the fun
Wow, we have been here before looking for 45min before we gave up. This time I was here with my 4yr old and bang straight onto it as soon as I walked up. Super sneaky hide in good condition. Hint is a massive help. Tftc
Very bouncy GPS; absolutely needed the clue as coordinates were off by around 20m! No idea how you would find this one with sports on! TFTC
Coming down this way for work, after I was finished I made my way to try and find this one. The hint means everything.
After watching a great game of footy (go Yabs ) I decided to go for a quick search before heading home. Found it! Thank you for placing this cache and for the fun hunt
Found cache in pieces on the ground with no log. Placed a temporary bit of paper logged inside. Thanks for placing the geocache
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Rye. Just finished a swim and gym session at the Yawa, so it's time to cache. We found the cap tied to the fence, and searched around to finally locate the base. We added a piece of paper with our names. Might need relocating if this is happening a lot, but it's certainly a great sporting area. Thanks Aussieguy
Took a while to find but we got there. Thanks for the fun. Like others have said cords well off and needed the hint.
Im just about to go away for two weeks to Sydney and Canberra tomorrow and wont be back until Monday 30th of January so Ill check on it when Im back home again. Theres already a replacement logbook that someone else has placed there for me so Ill be checking on it again when I get home again in late January so theres no need for me to disable this cache since theres already a new logbook in there already.Dated: Tuesday 16th of January 2024 at 2:50pm
Coordinates way off, hint helped point where to actually go although still couldnt find it
TFTC! Log book was well deteriorated by the time we found it, we popped a temporary log in that will see it through a few monthsNice hide, co-ords off but first part of hint will get you by! Happy new year, happy temporary log!
We broke the lawn mower so off to Bunnings we go. Stopped here afterwards to grab a couple of caches. Nice hide, the coordinates are way off but hint is useful. Log book too wet to sign.
Found. Had to use hint as coordinates are very off. Logbook was soaked so couldnt sign, needs replacing
It took a while but we finally found it . Log book was too wet to write on . TFTC
This is a really cool find, very creative and blends in surprisingly well! However the logbook is literally disintegrating
Definitely needs a GPS update... Only found after checking recent logs and then the clue but a cool micro find!
There was some event happening with a gate guardian expecting money to enter. Luckily I talked my way in and quickly found this cleverly hidden cache. A favourite point for it TFTC AussieGuy007 .
Looked for awhile before reading activity logs and realising we were in the wrong area. GPS needs updating… fun little find. Not one for Hobbits or Dwarves
Found with n0w0rries and Eve The Staffy.
In the area picking up a friend's car.
Stopped by on our way home for a fairly quick find.
Thanks for the cache AussieGuy007.

We were preparing for +Wife and her muggle mate, Pam to go away for a few days.
I needed Pam's car to get to my appointments whilst they are away.
On our way home we stopped in to take a look here.
After spending far too long looking in all the wrong places we read the hint.
The cache was quickly found then. Thanks Clint. A great hide!

Found it very clever little hide, gps is off, logbook soaked so pic of logbook sent to co
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. The coordinates were about 13m out, thankfully the hint narrowed the search area down. Try these coordinates S 038° 22.204' E 144° 53.659'
Thanks AussieGuy007 for the cache.

In the area with Rebel Acts after finishing work at the nearby VICSES.
Plenty of walking and Geocaching fun, this is one of the caches we managed to find today.
Cheers for the cache

As others have said, not at the gps coordinates. A lot of rubbish on the ground, I was glad to not have to touch it!
Pretty sneaky till ya notice it. Log book it pretty wet, almost unable to write on it. Tftc
So good to turn this frown into a smile! We zoned in on another area and it was there in plain sight! Log requires a new fresh dry one, as it's a soggy loggy. GOS coordinates are definitely out, the hint does help in a way, thank you!
This took awhile to find. GPS is a little out, but think carefully about the clues! Loved it
Out and about with Michael while staying at Capel stop in between raindrops we managed. This will be my food time at this one and after short time basis Discovery logbook quit but still site for nice that hides thanks for the cache
I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache AussieGuy007

Having noted the large number of dnfs on this one, I'd checked the hint before arriving at gz and was able to spot it in the first place I looked. Rather lucky, as I feel the coords were a bit out and it could have been very difficult.

Currently holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula and the weather today did show some improvement which allowed us to get out and about to check out some more of the region which we did using caching. We did visit here late yesterday but had to abort our search due to the bad weather, but we came back today after reading previous logs and it still took some time before Mrs. Pooky noticed something that looked a little suspicious. Further investigation by Mr. Pooky revealed the well-hidden and camouflaged cache. Coordinates were a little out. TFTC and bringing us to this spot, a favourite from us.
Spent long weekend down at Rosebud and thought we would fill in some time grabbing caches. Braved the wind and rain to add this one to our finds. GPS had us 14m out at this one. Log was wet. TFTC
Mr Dromaniax's and his muggle brother were off for a couple of days of camping and geocaching on the Mornington Peninsula.
After a great nights caching last night, getting back to camp around 1am, we decided to head off early and grab a few caches before muggle brother's appointment.
The ground on the Mornington is wet. Very wet. It seems that there has been sufficient rain this year that the ground is holding the maximum amount of water it can and when you have additional rain it either sits on the surface or starts moving down hill.
We stopped by here as we need this cache as it fills a gap on our 360 degrees from home.
We found this cache reasonably quickly and would love to know where to purchase that sort of cache.
The cache was in excellent condition.

Came here last week to replace my cache but there were hundreds of cars everywhere and I found out from a lady walking through the car park there was a netball grand final so I thought way too many people around! Plus they had the gates closed to the area where the cache was so couldn’t get access anyway!
So thought I’d come back a few days later and it was pretty quiet today which was great news! So the cache has now been replaced and ready to be found again!
You are looking for a small bison tube again.

Sorry been pretty busy lately plus been away as well. Going to try and visit this cache on the weekend.
Been here a couple of times lately but each time I’ve been here there’s always been a football game on! So I’m going to disable until hopefully this week as it might be a bit quieter during the week.

had a look through everything didn’t find it i have a feeling it got knicked as there was a lid in the bush but not quite sure.
Coords took us 10m from where hint suggests hide is. A thorough search of the tank revealed bring for us. A previous finder recommends maintenance is needed. Thanks anyway
This one took us ages!! We were just about to give up when we found it! Thanks for the find
Headed down to catch up with the family who are staying quite nearby.
The coordinates were a good bit off, and it's unlikely I'd have found it without a photo in the previous logs.

Found within a few minutes. Coordinates were taking me in a complete different direction. Tftc
I found Game On after a windy game of golf.
After wandering back and forth, searching here and there, I unusually found the log sitting out on its own. I signed it, rolled it up and on going to replace it back, discovered the empty cache container some 15cms away. I reunited the pair and went on my way
Thanks AussieGuy007 for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves

Second attempt and found it finally!

Finally able to travel a bit further afield and geocaching is right up there on my list of things I'm excited to go and do. Along with visiting friends on the peninsula. So we decided to combine the two. I've searched here once before with Broesi and we came up empty handed. So it was great to finally turn this one into a smiley. A sneaky find, but easy once you've found it, of course! TFTC
I can't believe I finally found this one! Well, technically I didn't, Mimamecha did. And what's even more embarrassing is I already searched there, so many times! So much for my geoskills! But it's very uplifting to finally have a smiley on that oval. Thanks AussieGuy007 for keeping me guessing for soooooo long. And if you do get around to checking: the thread is starting to let go...
Thanks for this cache
Great area. Always a thrill when the prize is finally spotted!

It should still be there as it’s attached to the water tank and it’s a small black bison tube.
As I live in Sorrento I can’t come up to check on it as it’s outside of my 5kms travel restrictions of our homes and it’s 13kms away so I can’t check on it at the moment until they lift the travel restrictions again but it definitely should be there still.
You can always go and find my other cache which I definitely know it’s there as it’s a permanent fixture and it’s in Rosebud as well and it’s called Rosebud Hotel and that’s always available to find it!
But it definitely should be still there as it’s attached by a cable tie to the water tank.

"Let's just get out of the house for a bit".
It's funny how an innocuous comment in the middle of the afternoon can somehow turn into a family bonding session of practicing Ninja stealth-mode in the middle of the night!!
A delightful late afternoon was spent savouring the taste of the salty air and enjoying the soothing feeling of shifting sands flowing between our toes down in Mt Eliza. Heymissjo, GeoNinja(M4), GeoBug(M3) and I frolicked away the last few hours of sunshine during this rare visit to the beach. Naturally, dinner incorporated fish and chips, before taking the scenic route to Rye to watch large numbers of both fish and fisherman enjoying themselves along the pier at night.
We were about to head home when we realised there was some Unlove not too far away.
Here.
On arrival, the reserve was mostly dark and deserted, but a distant lit pavilion club room with some cars parked outside informed us that a little caution would be required here.
I parked just beyond the furthest edge of the parked cars so as to blend in to a casual observer. Heymissjo and I looked at the location of the hide and we both agreed, that given the late hour, we were going to need to employ stealth.
Thus began our first family lesson in the way of a true geo-ninja.
"Sorry, kids... but you know all those crazy Power Ranger antics you grew up on? It couldn't be any more wrong!!"
No antics.
No jumping around.
No loud vocalisations
No waving sticks around.
It was surprisingly hard to convince them that a ninja is an illusion, like a shadow in the night that is so silent that even a dewdrop rolling off a blade of grass is loud by comparison. That a ninja can come and go without a trace and accomplish incredible things unseen.
"Okay, kids! Stomping is an improvement on jumping, but still not cool!!"
As was finding all the crunchiest gravel and driest leaves to traverse the distance on!
"LAST DRINKS!" called a nearby voice which sounded like it wished this moment had come hours earlier.
People and cars began moving at a second, more distant, pavilion. The occasional set of headlights would momentarily flood the reserve with light and send my reflexes into evasive manoeuvres. But the Minis remained happily oblivious to the elements that can reveal their presence.
Okay. I resigned myself to accepting that ninja training the Minis was not going to be as easy as a single night training module!
For 10 minutes, the four of us scoured GZ as best as we could with minimal torch light, between moments of ninja training and regularly pausing to avoid potential muggle exposure. Heymissjo and I also researched the logs of previous finders to try to get an idea, as the scene seemed to be simultaneously devoid of hides AND potentially having too many!
When I aligned a few subtle quarter hints, it dawned on me where the cache might be.
And it was.
I whispered success to the other ninjas, whereupon the Minis raced in with torches to beat each other to the retrieval. This wasn't ideal, not only was discretion instantly foregone, but Geo-Ninja Rule #12 clearly states "Do not move the cache until you know EXACTLY how to replace it".
Hmm... We're clearly going to have to study these ninja modules in more depth.
(For the record, GeoNinja got his hands to it first.)
At least Heymissjo and I were able to sign in and clear out the accrued Unlove. And then it came time to replace the cache - but the method of attachment was being incredibly stubborn. Yes, it would have been helpful if I'd actually been able to note how the cache was originally situated. All I could do was my best in very limited time.
The bar staff were making sounds from within, consistent with preparing to come out the back of the building where GZ was!!
"Go! Go! GO!!!", I whispered urgently.
"But not like that!"
"Be like a ninja, guys!!"
Thanks so much, AussieGuy007.
We had a wonderful time here that the kids will fondly remember.

For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.

After a week of lockdown, it was nice to finally stretch the legs and put some kms behind us. The Welder and I and my two geoninja’s decided for a meander down the peninsula and have fish and chips by the bay. Some sunshine and beach walks were also definitely in order... now of course we couldn’t go home without at least one cache! The Welder spotted the unlove on this one and it seemed the perfect target! The kids were excited to be out, miles from home and well past their bedtime. Caching at night, what fun! Thanks for the cache!
