A nice easy find. Thanks for helping us to explore our state. Probably never would’ve come along this road if it weren’t for the cache.
We're up from the Surfcoast, staying in Kyneton and enjoying a break away in the regions we are still able to get to. Today we packed our hand sanitiser and headed out and about using caching as out tour guide.
We overshot this one and turning around in the next driveway, we saw a mysterious shape looming through the scrub and thought maybe the aliens had landed. Mrs juc wanted to make the find here, so she hopped out while I turned the car around again and by the time I was facing the right way again, the deed was done and we were off.
As we passed, we checked out the mystery object, which proved not to be a space ship, but something a little closer to earth. Or water maybe, but either way, it was almost equally unexpected here
Thanks again !

Loving the country back roads along here, making a shortcut from Daylesford through to Vaughn Springs. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, some caches taking a little longer than others! A beautiful part of the world, thanks for placing.
Nice quick little find on a meander through the Hepburn shire en route to Castlemaine with Jacko83. Great to pick off some of the outlier caches in the map. Quick find! Thank you
**Find #3143**

Today with the dog loaded and the stresses of xmas packed away at home, the caching run from Glenlyon to Castlemaine was the goal. And on a lovely day it was a very enjoyable run. Many many thanks for placing these caches to make so !!!
The cache has survived 8 months with the lid not properly secured and not hidden. Not bad. All looks to be okay inside. Thanks for the cache lid secured and re hidden.
One of closest ones left to where we live, we decided to complete this trail today. Nice, quick pick up. Thanks for the cache.

Mostly blue sky, no wind and warm sunshine - what a change from the past few days. Perfect weather for caching out to the west of Kyneton.
There were only one or two flowers peeping through, the calling of the birds was delightful.
Thanks to 'Mainebirds' for the hunt and cache placement

I was enjoying me tour of the Green Gully Bird Trail
Makes a pleasant change from the monotony of Victoria's Rail Trails
There were actual birds to be seen along the trail too
I spotted a magpie at one point [^]
Twitching done,
I set about finding me another cache

The second in the series and my 805th find. Easy find. I noticed a log in the log book from a local winery but they haven't logged online so I am gathering it is a muggle log and perhaps a small plug for their winery.... Shall get down here to check the winery out some day.
Find #1543 for me. Found with virbull at 2.00pm. It looked like Noah was preparing for another flood, but the nearby "ark" was too small to hold many animals so maybe it has another purpose. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting place today Mainebirds and thanks for the cache!

After the 15 Years of Events in Victoria event, we decided to head to Daylesford and the surrounding area to find a few cool caches. We picked up three earthcaches, bringing my total number of earthcache finds to 200. Now it was time to drive the ridge and back, picking up all of the caches along the way, before it got dark and was time to head for home. Ridge caches done, time for the Green Gully Bird Trail caches! Plenty of birds along the side of the track and a few Kangaroos too! Thanks for the cache, Mainebirds.

Out for a Monday stroll and keen to locate a FTF. Got to this one at 4.45pm and heading north. TNLN TFTC.
This morning hubby headed off on his motorbike bound for Perth (yes crazy). So the geokids and I decided to nab the 4WD and do some caches out the back of Daylesford/Castlemaine way. A lovely little trail here. Amazing to see all the houses (and a few random things too)! Not sure I'd feel safe out here though if a bushfire was approaching - I'd have long left the house! Thanks for the cache
Found cache rather quickly with good co ords. After signing the log, I glanced up and saw a huge upturned, almost completed concrete hull of a boat in a bush paddock. Couldn't believe my eyes. Maybe Noah lived nearby! TFTH
The second of this series in my little first run this afternoon - this one was a quick find. Thanks to Mainebirds for the cache, lovely forest around here.
I spent a good 10-15 minutes here today looking for a cache that others had found easily! Not so for me I am afraid.
Tftc. How about a concrete boat? It's progress of construction seems to have halted quite some time ago. Some of the largest kangaroos can be seen here at dusk.
We were on the Porcupine Ridge Road and decided to carry on to this group of three caches and complete a loop back to Daylesford. Not the preferred way in as we found out, particularly after last night's thunderstorm - but we made it and had a bit of fun. Not sure what the owner planned to do with the yacht unless he was expecting a big flood but it is not looking very seaworthy. TFTC.
Found it second time looking. Live locally, what a treat to find one so close to home. Thanks!
I realised when I reached the turnoff today that I had been here some time before for Cache #1. Anyway spring is a great time in this area and I had the road entirely to myself all the way to this cache and the next. Glad you placed this cache where you did opposite the sub
Cheers

Out for an afternoon caching in Castlemaine and surrounding areas to finish off a few series that I started on a previous occassion and to pick up any others I haven't attepted. A variety of caches were encountered and eventually conquered, making for an enjoyable and liesurely day out.
Many thanks Mainebirds for placing this cache .

Find #1434
I was out with my caching partner Stemicmitsar for our regular Friday night caching run but we had to a bit further from home than usual for Steve to pick up the two caches he needed to qualify for a newly published challenge cache.
Once again we couldn't see anything of interest here in the dark but at least the rain was holding off.

Found @ 9:29pm, find # 3487.
Another Friday night caching run with biggles1024, this time a bit further a field with a centroid mission.
We had already found the caches that I needed for the challenge cache so now on it was all bonus finds while we were in the area.
The only draw back to finding caches at night is that you don't get to see much of the surrounding area so it was on to GZ where we were able to make a quick find, we were then on our way to the next one.

Found by Roma and Max.
Having previously found what we now know is #1 in this series we were aware of how beautiful this area looks during daylight hours in the wild flower season, and were pleased to see you add more reasons for us to revisit.
Thank you Mainebirds good numbers made for a quick find here.
Cheers,
from Romax.
