The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 5: Exploring some mid north towns.
My GPS said it was the wrong side of the door but we found it anyway.
But it was a nano and so the Freddo rant MUST be invoked. [^] Poor kitten. [xx(]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks chrispy89 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

We read previous logs which directed to the location of the cache. This little chap needs a new magnet.
Had been blown out onto the gravel. Keen eyes from my hubby spotted it. Have placed it back next to door. Needs a new magnet. TFTC.
Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 4, Wirrabra to Orroroo.
As previous finders have noted, the magnet has gone, cache was sitting on the pavers. Replaced at base of black fence near roller door corner, but need CO attention.

Walk through town and around the pump house trail to stretched our legs while travelling through. We had some lunch and off onto Renmark for the next adventure. Love tricky caches like this. TFTC
Day two of a camping trip testing out my new swag. I am slowly making my way up to the Flinders Ranges and taking my time exploring lots of little towns along the way.
After checking in at the caravan park, I walked over to this cache. Found this one on the ground. The magnet looks to have been dislodged. Left where I found it which is ground level where pavers meet the cream upright support.
Thanks for the cache chrispy89.

Holiday time, a week in the Flinders Rangers with sir_spectre and Jacknor. We had lots of fun, walk and of course found some caches. Today we packed up the camper and started to head for home early, strangely it took 13 hours to get home... Today we did lots of cache maintenance replacing cache containers and adding logbooks.
Thanks to chrispy89 from mogni

Day 7
" insert nano rant here ". Found inside the display. needed a TOTT to get it. The magnet has gone off the bottom of the nano. left at base of the post.
found with Mogni and Jacknor. We where heading up Carrieton for a couple of days and then on to the Flinders Rangers for 5 days. The plan was to find as many of the church multi's as we could going up and then bright and early the next day head off to the " Bendleby Ranges " 4 x 4 tracks. Then clear the next section of multi's between Carrieton and Rawnsley Station and of course a few stray trads that would help Jacknor's jasper grid. A straight week of over 30 degrees meant less hiking than planned but we still got to the top of Rawnsley Bluff as well as some other smaller hikes. The Rawnsley station 4 x 4 track was completed and by then it was time to decamp and start the drive home. Stopped at orroroo and cleared the town out before going back to the church multi grind. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and extra logs added to those caches that the scroll was full or almost full, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintenance on them.

We had planned to visit Peterborough for the weekend to attend an event and do some caching. and as we had to deliver a heap of Crystal Decanters that we had engraved for the Clare wine show, to them, we figured we are halfway there..might as well carry on, so we organised a day off and are having a "long Weekend' up North! Today we teamed up with hevwalker and Bron. A quick find here todayTFTC

Was on the ground inside magnet is now missing. Replaced it on the ground in a safer place. Needs repair
It had fallen off and come apart, but we fixed it up. Hopefully back in the right place.
This cache took a bit of finding and the nano has fallen apart and has no lid or really needs fixing up
Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Having a caching weekend, finding and maintaining a few around Orroroo and surrounds. Was looking in the wrong place to start with, but soon had the sly little critter. TFTC.
Took a pass or two before Tweety2 had here eyes on this one. Log replaced. TFTC
Not obvious at first, but we found the cache. As others have said, the log is full.
Short stop and a long search, tricky little one, but finally managed to grab it.
Regards from Switzerland.

After a lovely night at the camp site (great facilities for tent campers) but a crap game of footy (if you are a Pies fan) it was up and ready for a day of caching in the Orroroo surrounds.
We travelled all over the countryside and had a fantastic day. We did an epic multi, visited lots of abandoned structures with heaps of history, saw lots of Orroroo masters games venues and called in at the pub in Pekina for a beer. Great day of country fun, punctuated with some super finds. Love a good day of SA country caching.
It started off very cold this morning with low lying clouds meaning we were in fog for the first couple of hours. Once this burnt off it was a superb winters day, sunny and warm. We saw lots of sheep, roos, wallabies, goats and an echidna which was cool. Rex had a brilliant day and was absolutely shattered by the time we got back to the campsite.
Whilst Sail was in the shower I headed over from the campsite to make a very fast find here by torchlight. TFTC chrispy89 that is a sneaky little hide!

Well thought out, only experience with other caches led me to this one.

In town for a wedding, and a lovely one it was too. Found this before heading our to the reception. Grubby fingers came up with the cache! TFTC
Interesting piece of history. Well presented & maintained. An industry employing 20 people for so many years. Thanks for the cache.
On our way north, Orroroo seemed a nice place to spend the night as it was getting dark and the Roos were getting active!
Walked over to this from the van park we stayed in.
Fingers found a cache quite quickly.
Signing together as Team Mattycat.
Found along with Jack and Sebastbat.

Found by Mary & David at 1440. A magnificent relic, well preserved and safe from the weather and vandals. Our thanks to chrispy89.
Finally a find on this cache... zero had me on a different side but just a matter of deduction to a find at long last. This completes all caches in the area. Tftc
The clue was very important in making a quick find here. Mind you it was on the second side we checked and not the first.
Thanks.
Thanks.
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 43. The travel is speeding up as I head home. Today I went from Hawker to Mildura via Burra.
It is interesting to see an old transport tool on display here. I had to let my fingers to the work and after a bit of feeling and not finding any spiders I was happy to dislodge the cache.
Thanks.
