Time for someone else to make use of this area - thanks to all finders - happy caching
Biked from salt water baths to riwaka and found a couple of GCs on the way. Took me a few minutes. TFTC
Found it with Piwaka54 out enjoying the Spit adventure lab. No golfers shouting fore as they hit this
Like your cache title for this one. Mrs C found this one in a very quiet patch, then walked back to car and muggles appreared, cache already safely back. Thanks for the cache niteowlnz.
Was there early in the morn so no one around which was nice. Really cold wind with snow right down Mt Arthur. Took a while but got if after methodically working the possible area. Great hidey spot TFTC
Back in June, four Wellingtonians (NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ and YetiNZ) came down to visit the Nelson region. We had such a blast that we decided to do it again, and here we are!During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find, which certainly applied to this cache.Day 2, and having spent 1 night in Takaka we are driving back down to Nelson via Kaiteriteri and Motueka and various stops along the way. By now it was getting on in the afternoon and we were eager to go and grab some dinner in Motueka, but there are always a few caches to grab by the side of the road...A straightforward park n grab made in quick time by the others as I was reversing the car around lol. No issues here, and we were soon back on our way again.Thank you for setting this one up.
(# 8179) On a caching trip to the Nelson/Golden Bay area for a repeat trip for the four amigos. Day two of this trip took us from Takaka over the hill to Kaiteriteri, through Motueka and back to Nelson. Tripping with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Another day full of hilarity with nobody being spared being the butt of the jokes. Signed the log with NMTY. Thanks niteowlnz for bringing me here.
Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. We had such a good time that just a few months later we decided to do it again. The same team to the same location, with the same agenda. The only real goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding more of the unfound geocaches in the area.
Day two of this trip took us from the labyrinth rocks of Tākaka over the hill to Kaiteriteri, through Motueka and back to Nelson. We stopped at many caches along the way, and this was one of them.
A nice hide here, found exactly as described.
Most of our finds here we signed the log with the collective name of N.M.T.Y to represent the four of us: NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, and YetiNZ.
---
Thanks to niteowlnz for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

After some searching we found it, hard to reach but got there with persistence. Tftc

Found on a bike ride around the foreshore. A quick find. Thanks for hiding niteowinz.
Having a great time with one off my grandsons, DragonDefender, on a geocaching hunt in the Nelson/Tasman area.

A great morning exploring Motueka & filling Ricardinho in on some of my childhood adventures.......A spot not too far from here has a funny significance for me. I shake my head now at some of the crazy & silly stuff I did as a teenager!!

A quick find here, nicely hidden.
Last cache of the day. Finished the trip home by getting some ad labs on the way out of town. All good, TFTC niteowlnz
I had pre-warned RG1972 that we were going to be doing a bit of caching today, because it’s one of the few days I have left (4 I think) where I need to for a calendar project.
So we decided to drive to Motueka and have a bit of a walk around.
A good mixture of caches and 6 adventure labs too, meaning the latest souvenir offering is safely bagged. We had lunch on the waterfront and RG enjoyed walking around the town she grew up in visiting old haunts and telling me stories, most of which can’t be repeated here.
Thanks all COs.

My SmartPhone had just run out of battery. When I put it on the charger and restarted, it decided to optimize 59 apps. This took a bit of time, but then I realized I was parked close to this cache, so instead of just waiting, I used my time productively to find this cache. TFTC.
Day 17 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Biked along this (shared) walkway this morning, doing Motueka’s Waterfront Walkway Adventure Lab and picking up a few traditional caches as well. Then drove on to Pakawau in Golden Bay and collected a few more along the way. This one was a reasonably quick find. #4189. TFTC.
Thanks for the cache.
Out on a geocaching roadie today while my muggle partner plays some golf. Want to pick a couple of the geotour caches out this way and also fill one of the holes on my DT grid
Haven't been out this way before so enjoyed the sights on a bueatiful Tasman day

Found with NZDi. It is Easter and NZDi decided she wanted to go to the Mapua Easter Fair seeing she missed out last year due to Covid-19 Level 4 Lockdown. Also we purchased a caravan late last year and as Easter is traditionally the last outing of the season before caravans are closed up for winter, we didn't want to waste this opportunity even though we have another trip planned next month.
So the plan is to set up at Motueka Top 10 Holiday Park for three days going to the Fair on Sunday, then on Monday look at the weather and decide whether to spend another three days in Golden Bay or head down the Wet Coast. In the meantime there is some caching to do.
Having cheekily checked in early at the caravan park and scoffed a lunch we prepared at home before we left, we headed out this neck of the woods on our MTB. On our way here we got the info for a puzzle and two multis, but the puzzle final was some distance in the future and the multis had us confused so we figured we would work on them back at the caravan. So now we are heading south along the coastal track heading for the other end of town picking up caches along the way.
This was our third find f the day and when I read the hint, there was only one place the cache could be, and there it was in the first place I looked.
