Hey kiralouise, Any update on this one? have you had a chance to replace the cache/log??
I am in a buyer dispute with an online store where I purchased a cache container. Until then, I don't have a choice but to temporarily disable the listing.
Cache owner has not been online since Oct 2014 (over 14 months). Cache needs to be archived.
Hi guys, contrary to what these posts are saying, I actually AM online. I use the app EVERY DAY. I am waiting for a log scrolling tool to come in the mail, it has NOT ARRIVED YET. Be PATIENT.
I will check on the cache today.
I will check on the cache today.
A new nanocache and log has been ordered, as soon as it arrives the cache will be live and functional
With the previous 2 finders saying the log is full and now 3 DNF's. Maybe time for a CO check.
Came past and searched before rechecking logs and the description. became the 3rd DNF, and seems like the last 2 finders had a full log, so needs maintenance.
I had a look for it a couple of weeks ago and had no luck. I'm 90% sure I knew where it was supposed to be, but there was no 'sign' of it.
Didn't spot Geoduck, but did follow the rules, may be my glasses just are not strong enough.
Nice little park though.
Nice little park though.
Despite the hot weather I still wanted to do some caching, but caches that didn't use my preferred hiding style of bushwalks but rather the comfort of the air conditioned car between finds. This was spotted fairly quickly with the hint, though I needed to use a stick for extraction. As others have said the log is full but I managed to mark an "RJ" near the beginning. Thanks kiralouise.
Found this one quickly and easily but had to overwrite our name to get it on the log somewhere. TFTC.
A nice easy one for the middle of the night. Unfortunate we couldn't get to see the ducks. TFTC!
Looked for ages lol when we found it realised that it had nothing to do with a duck ...
I always thought this cache would be something like the long archived "Daniel's Decoy Duck" at Norwest but when I arrived I realised it wasn't. Walked straight to GZ and found the cache but then found the log was full. Wrote in there somewhere but it was so full I could hardly get it back into the cache [B)]
Looks like the creek below ran very high in the last rains going by the rubbish some two metres up in the trees.
Thanks!

Found with Jase90 during a day out in Western Sydney in an effort to help me get closer to reaching my milestone goal of 2,000 finds at the last ever Geocaching Block Party in Seattle this August. We started over at Prospect with Madness Gateway and Sydney's Newest- Relocated. Then onto Pemulwuy for William Lawson and Veteran Hall, and then across to Blacktown for Pope's Garden, Train Spotter - Roma and URBAN SV (where we had a long chat with the Cache Owner, nice to meet you!). Back in Prospect we then found Quick park & Grab, for the streakers., For Marissa & Mel's streak, Home Sweet Home, Time to Commuicate. (is it meant to be Communicate?) and Prospect Park First Cache. Heading over to Seven Hills, Jase90 and I continued on to tackle Nice little park & grab and Snowy Reserve Cache. In Girraween we found the Former Railway Corridor Toongabbie, then in Pendle Hill we grabbed Knox's Box and our final stop out west was in Old Toongabbie where we picked up Spot the Geoduck.
On the way back home, we decided we could fit in a few more and we stopped by North Rocks and found 4,3,2,1 and Measure Up. We then finished off the day in Ryde and Eastwood with Up The Garden Path and Beanstalk respectively.
All in all, a fun day out with Jase90 and we picked up some beauties along the way. For all of the caches, I Signed Log and Took Nothing Left Nothing. A successful day out in terms of find rate! Thanks For The Caches to all of the respective Cache Owners.

Found at 12:35pm with JordsAU.
JordsAU and myself were out on a day of caching trying to boost our numbers in the area's of Prospect, Blacktown and a couple of other surrounding suburbs. We started as early as possible this morning so we could obtain a decent amount of smileys. We were also heading to the footy in Moore Park later on in the afternoon which meant that we needed to be finished and to head back by 1:30pm.
I have not done any caches out this way in my 3-year Geocaching career but JordsAU had acquired a small handful over the years which meant that we needed to stick to caches unfound to the both of us. It didn't seem to prove too difficult as there were plenty around.
The weather today was stunning, barely cold in the early morning and it even became quite hot in the late morning.
'Spot the Geoduck' was the 16th of 19 caches we ticked off today. After finding 'Knox's Box' just around the corner, we made our way here to makes yet another find, we had a little bit of trouble in the beginning but we soon corrected our search pattern and found ourselves with CIH.
Thanks for the cache kiralouise

After grabbing the cache we went down the path and took a stroll along the creek. Despite the rubbish, it's a very pleasant spot. We even saw some ducks.
The log is completely full, we had to squeeze our signatures into a couple of tiny spaces.
Thanks kiralouise.

It's a lovely spot for a cache. We enjoyed our short walk beside Toongabbie Creek which was beautiful in the light of the late afternoon sun. SL TFTC
After thought I snag a few caches around old toongabbie, this was my first for today and nice easy one to start, no-one around, found SL and off I went to the next cache.

Super easy find. Too easy in fact. Hid it in the same place but a little more camouflaged. Found with kimmykitkat and gabstar55
An easy find with Sensible Shoes who had found this previously. He made the retrieval due to his height advantage. Signed the log and replaced a bit lower.

The second find of the "boys' day" of caching with Shoes Junior. We didn't see any ducks, but we did see a water dragon down near the creek. TFTC.
What a beautiful bit of bushland. I live not far away and have often stopped to let the ducks cross the road. At 5"2 I knew that one day my " picker- uppers" would come in handy. Today was that day. TFTC and a munzee to boot!
Follow the rules and then an easy oh so tiny find lol! We saw some sweet little ducks too! Vertical challenge defeated by climbing on mums leg. Another great find for Blake, Max, Mia and Zac.
Found on the way to dropping Geoson at a birthday party.
Glad I'm not vertically challenged.

Came past at night and with no muggles about , this was a easy find. Love the bush around here having walked along the tracks nearby. TFTCM

Had problems grabbing it. It was up to high. Had a folding chair and used it to stand on. Tftc SL
A spot of caching between rain showers. GoeDucks spotted as well as a GeoKookaburra keeping a close eye on things. TFTC. No pen so see attached picture
Easy find. Lots of spiderwebs but managed to grab it. Placing back was more difficult as I dropped it accidentally in the mulch and had to dig to find it back again. That would have been an oops!!! Unfortunately for young master Q we didn't see any ducks.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Great little spot, nice brook.
Definitely needed a cache here.
Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for the cache!
A quick find but unfortuinately we didn't see any ducks - but we did see magpie, galahs, masked lapwing and sadly a FERAL CAT prowling the grounds. TFTC
Great to see the swollen banks of the river below. No neighbourhood muggles about, thus the place to myself. Had CIH with aid of hint soon afterwards. Nice spot, deserves a hide, TFTC
Didn't spot any ducks but I did spot a couple of Galahs one of which was drinking from the nearby tap. Nice quick find, SL #1521 on streak day #749 TFTC
#2623- one of my closest unfound to Westmead children's hospital while down here on recon. A quick, easy one before heading back to the mountains.
#807 (Streak day 206)
NOTE TO SELF: Spot is a strange name for a duck...
After the mugging I got at Bashful yesterday, I needed to find something simple and with a low terrain. I'm far less mobile today than yesterday.
This was one of a few caches within my 10km limit that I'd identified as fitting the bill.
In fact, I was pretty sure from reading the cache details that I knew exactly where it was.
Parked thirty three agonising metres from GZ and hobbled over - maybe I should have taken my walking stick...
And there it was, exactly where I thought. Took as short a distance as possible from GZ to complete signing duties. Good thing too as three muggles on bicycles arrived from down a hill I was going nowhere near.
After they had gone I replaced the cache and limped pitifully back to the Hademobile.
Didn't see or hear any ducks, but could see the creek from GZ. I'm with them in spirit!
SLTNLN
TFTC - especially making it invalid friendly, and for that a favourite point.

14/07/14. 9:21 AM. Cache #1697. Three simple park & grab caches today in another circuit of new caches. "Hawks Nest" in Peakhurst, "Grevilleas DO NOT rock" in Strathfield and then "Spot the Geoduck" in Old Toongabbie. Just using the same log for all 3 today. TFTC }:)
