I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, ShimmerPort, requesting additional time.

An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

Despite arriving early in the tide and scrambling up the rocks three times in the fantastic rock gap the only thing remotely resembling a treasure was an empty plastic bag wedged beneath some rocks. I’ll be back when we are sure that the treasure is there by someone else finding and logging it.

East Woodie is so gorgeous at sunset! Nothing like a rock hop and treasure stop to make a perfect day even better!

I was on my way for a swim at the Nhulunbuy pool and I saw that I still had enough low tide to look for this one again. I got to the GZ and guessed that I had ~30 minutes before I had do make tracks or get stranded. I managed to find this very tricky hide after 15 minutes. Luckily I could discount everyplace that I had already searched so that narrowed it down a bit. Thanks for this challenging cache at a wonderful site. TNLN. TFTC.

I was up very early so that I could catch low tide and get to East Woody Island. I achieved the first part of the multi and retrieved the treasure map. I found the final site but not the cache. I spend a long time looking but the area was very slippery. I thought that perhaps TC Lam had stolen the treasure so I contacted the CO and he checked on the cache... it is still there. I will just have to go back at the next opportunity. Thanks for the quick response ShimmerPort.

A great cache location and excellent multi. Had to wait a few hours between finding the clue and the actual cache. Amazing to see this spot with the tide in and out.

Spent my last day of leave hunting some caches around town. Back to work Monday hohum!

Now to go and enjoy a rum in true pirate style. TFTC

We're staying with friends in Yirrkala for a few days. We've been super excited about collecting the caches in Nhulunbuy and was over the moon to find some new ones have been set up. Thanks for setting up. Found with Plenihimun. Whoop!

First find! Took the laminated map and followed the tracks. Was a bit concerned about the tide but we escaped at just the right time. Returned the laminated map to the original starting point. Plenihimun claimed the trackable.

It's a great treasure chest.
