Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
we searched all of the usual haunts that we are aware of, and tried to avoid going onto private property.... but of the GPS indicated that the cache was situated below the pathway so it would be subject to very high tides... perhaps that is what has happened, we visit the area regularly and so we will try again. A hint would be helpful
Rummaged around in the obvious spot for ages. Looked at past logs. No luck today. There was camping remnants in the clearing.. I'm wondering if this has been muggled?! I'll keep an eye out for another log and revisit sometime. It's a great spot.
Found with Jfindit on a day of caching in a different area parked near by and a short walk past all the mugglers on this warm day we soon located the cache in a nice shaded area where we took a few snaps and proceeded to the next cache thanks for the find sltnln

A beautiful spot. Recents logs were helpful. It is presently in full view, not sure if cammo is missing? TFTC
Walked down to the beach from Tasman Rd and followed the path by the houses towards the cliffs. Easy find hanging out on a ledge. No TBs in cache. SL TNLN TFTH TFTC
Great day for walking and caching. Caching certainly brings us to lovely places.
School was out and it was hugely busy nearby at the carpark! We had a nice walk along the foreshore then turned up the cache. A lovely spot.... Thanks armafly!
18/07/14. 4:08 PM. Cache #1705. Came up here to get this one this afternoon. The area was quiet except for the pounding surf. I enjoyed the scenic walk past beautiful houses, with some of my way made easier by the stony path. There was likely looking camo everywhere. A swirly signal had me under the trees, then out in the open, then under the trees even further back, where I finally made the find. Signed, took the travel compass trackable, then on my way. TFTC }:)
Went for a wander out along the unusual cobbled pathway and got to a spot where the GPS pointed a bit down hill but the grassy area looked enticing. The container is cracked down one side but so far, so good, with the dry weather. Dropped a TB. Thanks armafly.
Making up our geocaching plans for the day, we noted that this cache was still waiting for a FTF three days after being published.
Found the cache after not too much searching. Unfortunately the container is cracked and could really do with a replacement.
Removed a knife, which we do not think is a suitable swap in a Geocache.

Found this one this afternoon whilst up this way as well as searching out caches for my calendar gap chase. I noticed this was recently published and when heading down there thought it was a possible FTF. I did this one solo as CJ is still away.
I parked nearby close to a friends house and then proceeded down to the beach. It's been years since I've spent time on Avalon Beach and surprised as it was not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. There were no muggles around the GZ. I started my search and found the cache quickly. No FTF, the Vikings had come by this morning. Well done guys I signed the log and replaced it exactly as I found it. I love these beach hides. Must be something about the ocean.
Anyway, you've gotta love an excuse to get out to find a cache, especially down by the beach. Thanks armafly for your cache. SL TNLN TFTC
