#6278Travelling from Casino to Tweed Heads today and grabbing some caches as we went. This was one of them.A nice sized container.Thanks for the geofun.

Another blue face turned yellow. And after no luck on a previous hunt it was of course an easy find today.

I've had a DNF on this one for about 5 years. I've just never cached in Casino since my Podcast days. Today was the day though. Wayn0 came down to visit and we hit up Casino to find a few geocaches that could be claimed against challenges in the Geocaching Australia GeosportZ game. This one was for Boxing. We needed a cache with the word Box or Ring in the name. Voila! Thanks for the cache and nice little wander on a perfect weather day.

Adelaide to Brisbane the long way.Day Seven: Casino to Brisbane. Weather: the return of rain in Queensland. I DNFed here very early in my geocaching career at the end of 2019. It looks like the cache was actually missing at the time. This is the first time that Ive been back to Casino since, and Im here for redemption.The circuit track to GZ was noted, and I set off anticlockwise. Then I see this guy (see photo) lying across my path. Im thinking that this is a python, but back home in SA all snakes are assumed to be lethal until proven otherwise. And so the clockwise option it is! Still a bit rattled Im a bit nervous when I see all the long grass at GZ, but this time I can actually see the cache from the safety of the mowed path, and Im not DNFing for another fiver years. In and out unscathed! And everyone loves one of these containers. A favourite point here for an adventure five years in the making, thanks so much Fergclan.

With the motorhome into the countryside of NSW.Our destination was a cycle tour along the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail.We parked our motorhome in Bentley Car Park and then cycled along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail to Casino and back. On the way we had a lot of fun with the interesting signs, the great nature, the adventure caches and all the other caches.Afterwards we searched for many more caches in Casino.Thanks to all owners for showing us the interesting locationssayTeam sissifalke

I came to this one from the wrong way. Easily found. TFTC Fergclan.

A quick visit to Casino, to pass the day. Staying at Caraki, before heading to the daughters in Grafton.

What a lovely morning for a walk, even managd to see the locomotive bringing back some gardeners to the depot.

Wet lands

Didn't find but hardly even tried

Nice hide!

This was the third cache I found with Ravenclaw2480 and my sister. It's been raining on and off today so we got wet feet walking through the grass to the cache location. We also saw some chickens on the way Ravenclaw2480 and my sister ventured through the tall grass to find the cache and had to negotiate a huntsman spider that was relaxing on top of it! Thanks for the cache, the walk was great!

I had a pleasant walk through the wetlands with my daughters. This was our third find for the day. I ventured towards GZ with Smorefiya whilst MoogieChew waited outside. Smorefiya braved a scared Huntsman spider who ran around the cache a few times. There were a few 'eeks' until all clear. A nice big container to find. Thanks for the cache Fergclan

Checked on this one today after the big flood and cache is fine.

Out with the CO walking and cache maintenance. This one is still in place, but the good CO replaced it with an ammocan. If you can’t find this give up Geocaching.

Checked on this one today and all was well.

Wandered through the wetlands, great trail and recently mowed. Arrived at GZ but were unable to make a find.

Gotcha - Found with a great deal of searching. Path was mown for a while then overgrown. Wasn't sure if we should keep going. Finally located it. Tftc

Checked on this one and ,oh my goodness,the track is totally overgrown and not maintained at all,shame to Casino council as we met birdwatchers from Brisbane here to walk the promoted walking tracks, anyhow the cache was still there in its location but replaced the contents as the old log sheet was wet although still left it there,if you attempt this cache,do it in daylight and watch your step, it used to be a lovely walk.

Dayboro trip. Day 6. Today I was caching between two counties one either side of Casino. West in the morning to Kyogle, but I did not visit the town and then East to Lismore, but just skirted the edge. The afternoon was spent in Casino doing the Where-i-gos and the Challenge caches. A great day and my last non-Sydney Counties with a find done.

On my lap of the pond in waist high grass, I stopped for a look here. There could be anything under those trees along with all the weeds, but I did not find a cache. I hope it is there somewhere.

Staying in Casino today and adding some more caches to the collection, along with ilook4geo. This was a nice quick find. If you are thinking a regular size container, think a lot smaller. We had to dig it up and then signed the log. Of course we were wandering the wetlands, but the rain made it a lot wetter getting back to the car.

The caching around the Casino area went on today with goingplaces2. Had a lot of good finds with some challenges, some puzzles and mysteries as well as some traditionals. Wetlands, so of course it rained. Thanks to each CO for adding to the day's finds.

Wandered the very wet lands today. Had no luck with either of the little green boxes here sadly.

Wombles and I bumped into domsky again. Such a pleasure to have their company! We all continued on together walking around the wetlands to complete the wherigo and this cache. Thanks for the cache Fergclan

After completing all the puzzle caches we arrived at the Wetlands to find Domsky looking for a traditional. None of us were able to locate that one but we joined up to wander around doing the wherigo and then this cache.Thanks for placing this cache Fergclan.

A chance meet up with Nyssaflutterby and Wimbledon and Co. We enjoyed our walk to GZ. Very beautiful wetlands area. After a bit of a search we soon had our names added to the log.

Todays mission was the FTF Hounds trail. The weather was wet & we found the caches inbetween showers of rain.
This trail was a wonderful trail of various types of caches & hides.
Back in town it was off to wander the wetlands, walked the railway line before heading into the bush. Just a few dedicated golfers on the course.
Found on the ground so replaced back where the hint indicated.

Back again. This time, we got the win! Thanks for replacing the cache! A tricky trek with a pram.

Replaced with a film canister at this stage head height.

DNF no sign of cache

Sadly no luck today. We saw some marks on a tree which indicated a possible chain may have once been present, but nothing there today.

No luck today. I’m pretty sure I’m in the right place, and not a lot of spots where there could have previously been a medium. Muggled again? Thanks anyway, nice walk.

After finding the other nearby caches and watching the trains go by we eventually made our way into find this one.
All was good and we added our names to the log.
It was a nice little place for a stroll.

Our Garmin Montana had us about 10m from GZ and barking up the wrong tree With no one around including mozzies we had plenty of time to look and we soon found it anyway SL, TFTC

Isnt a regular, description needs to be changed.

I don't believe it ,I had this ammo can chained and padlocked and its still gone,have replaced today with a different cache,sort of head high,look behind.

Wasn’t much left in the cache so I left a trackable, a Frog and a joker other trackables from here seem to be missing or unlogged TFTC

Had to duck to Casino late this arvo, only a fleeting visit though - so I thought I'd make time for a Cache - hadn't done this one yet. Found this one nice and easily, haven't been this far back in the wetlands before! Casino is looking really nice at the moment, the place has never looked so tidy and clean. Thanks Fergs!

So awesome to find a medium cache! Found by myself, pavo and Wynter while having family time!

It was a nice walk to this cache although everything is so dry and the dirt is starting to crack under the grass. It was difficult to miss the good large container at GZ, so welcome after all the size 1 caches in the area. Thanks Fergclan for the walk and a good hide in an interesting area, it would be nice to return here after rain.
