It is indeed forgotten took Busy paws and I a bit of to-ing and fro-ing and up and down to find it, but got there in the end. TFTC!
Well we had a merry old dance here!! There REALLY IS a wee path but blink and you'll miss it, don't do it he hard way, no need! We were very happy to find a container, All safe and dry.TFTC
A trip up to get a multi, and to aim for GC5JAA1 as I'm trying to get everyone minute in the South Island, and that is one I'm missing, then a multi after midnight on the way home, as this is my usual weekend. Now back in civilisation after my late night jaunt.. just about midnight so can get a nearby multi. This filled in some time nicely.TFTC Chch Falcon, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #4946
This was an impulsive find and I didn't have a pen, so please accept this photo for proof of find. Great name for the cache and the path just appeared out of nowhere!
Would have never known this abandoned trail was here, otherwise a quick easy find. TFTC
TFTC. Note, there are several ways to get to the cache, some easier than others. I would suggest searching around a bit before committing to one path. Was fun!
Interesting hide in an interesting place! Searched the wrong end initially but that's because I'm using my phone today which isn't as accurate under the trees. Found it when I expanded my search. TFTC.
A little bit of zigzagging around before I found my way to the correct location, before making a fairly quick find, TFTC
Spent a bit of time looking for it. We went a bit too far around the ends looking for it. Took the 6 year old to have an easier look to find it.
A quiet day today with a dot day multi first off. Then celebrated with a coffee after a trad and did this one after lunch. Was a bit slippery to access, but there was plenty of vegetation to hang on to. After that there was still time for sewing, kite flying and the pools. I'll give a favorite point for this being one part of my favorite activities. Thank you Chch Falcon
Forgot a pen, but great place to get some air after the hot springs before dinner. Beautiful spot. Thanks for the hide.
was struggling with the trail until my angel of a sister pointed out the host.good find
Thanks - a lovely big park here being enjoyed by many and nice to see the trees with species names. Needs a new log sheet please.
Bit slippery to get to after a rain but found it easily. Added an FP coin for any collectors. TFTC
Plenty of people out and about on these trails today, so it was good to have this forgotten path to ourselves. We were not tempted to balance on any fallen logs though - such a shame we have long given that up. Cache is all good. TFTC
Missed the forgotten path twice, then had a closer look the next time around and there it was, thanks for taking me down there
I took the location a bit too literally, and after trying the other side, went back and found the container. It does blend in well! TFTC!
Taking a walk with my daughter and doing some caching on the way. Quick find here, tftc!
A huge solitude moment. I almost felt like in one the giff movies when the cacher is lost in the woods. I knew it was only a difficulty 2, but I made it at least a 3.5. I didn't see the small forgotten path, went back to the bridge and followed the small path along the river. Still 30m from cache at closest. I crossed a few streams and swampy area, got my feet stuck in one. Walked around ferns and small trees, climbed atop bigger branches. 9m from GZ on my phone, there was no sight of hint object . I was alone as the rest of the party was biking in the forest. At 4m I saw the hint. Of course I was not approaching from the right side and had to climb the cliff. A good search at the two possibilities but no container in sight. I went back to the car, Mr9 and Dad had completed their bike ride and were ready for lunch. So We went for a picnic table nearby, as there were either broken or taken we endned up close to the cache. With two extra pairs of eyes, who approached the cache from the right location the cache was found in less than a minute. I was probably too tired/emotional to get that cache. I was to be a complete movie!
1MinnieMoo and I made the effort to grab this beast while in the beautiful area. TFTC Chch Falcon
28/9/2023 Find #6664Day 20 of the Fangsoki/1MinnieMoo New Zealand South Island adventures. Today we left Nelson, journeying to Hanmer Springs. We were keen to grab a few caches along the way. We had arrived in Hanmer Springs and checked in to our accommodation site. With a little daylight time left, I was keen for a walk to get the steps up as we had been driving so much today. I had the nearby multi here on my list, and as we were staying pretty much next to the forest, it seemed the perfect choice. Arriving at the start of that, this one only seemed that little bit further to go, so it made sense to me to head over here first and grab it. Of course not every path here is on the map, and I noticed a little path which looked like it could be the forgotten one so took it. Turns out it was not. But it did mean that to correct the mistake a walk past a nice little waterfall was in order. Once back on the right main track, it was a case of stick to that until only a few metres away, where the forgotten track revealed itself. Down the little track and a bit of a search at GZ and cache was in hand. Thanks for the cache Chch Falcon.
Found in a last walk around Hanmer Springs after checking out of our unit. Nice walk. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us here we were out in the camper van with Alijoy love Hanmer and all the trails a lot more geos left to find.
A quick find here by following the hint, nice hide and all in order. We enjoyed the Woodland Walk today and it was interesting reading about all the different types of pines. TFTC!
5 of us had a look for this one and it’s my first ever geocache! So much fun
The weather wasn't good enough to climb up on mountains but not so bad so after 2 months in Hanmer I could finally do the cache trip in and around the city. TFTC
Thank for this took a few years to find this but an easy find this time. Thanks.
A quick find once the slope has been negotiated. Take care with footing.
Cache is safe and dry. TFTC.

Discovered as we explored Hamner Springs along with working on the Ad-Lab, Multicaches and a few traditional caches.

An einem schönen Sonnentag nach lange Anfahrt konnten wir den Cache bei unserem Abend Spaziergang finden. Hatten leider keinen Stift dabei zum eintragen waren aber happy für das Versteck. Vielen lieben Dank
Enjoying a walk from my nearby accommodation. Was wet & harder going down than it was coming up. TFTC
