Found after searching in the wind and rain. Sometimes the harder you look the more difficult things are to find.
Cute little container.
Cute little container.
Was just a gap filler and not liked so time to let this one go - container removed.
Another find by torchlight, but a quick one at that.
Quick find where all good at GZ. About half of the second page remaining, so space for plenty more logs yet. Thanks for another smilie.
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

A nice quick find after walking the southern section of the Te Araroa trail.

Took a little while to find, I looked in the correct place but missed it on the first pass.
I have to disagree with the previous finder, I guess a lot depends on the weather as today it was a very pleasant spot and had I brought a picnic I would have been happy to make use of the place for it. Quite a good idea to have a bit of space in the middle of the housing complex for kids to play and adults to gather.
Not much need for stealth today, no sign of anyone in the immediate vicinity.

Found on a very windy day. Had to wait for a few muggles to disappear before retrieving the cache. Not a very nice spot for a picnic table! TFTC
A sunny weekday turned out to be a good day to do this - not least of all because sitting at a picnic table is less suspicious than it would be if were raining or night. I parked a bit down the road and walked here because parking next to it and getting out to sit at a table seemed a bit weird. Did a bit of checking out of the neighbourhood first. I can't say it's an area I would like to live - it feels a bit sterile. A quick peer around the object of interest quickly revealed a likely suspect. A quick scoot over to sit next to it and I could retrieve it by feel from there. Signed, re-rolled and returned. A muggle even walked by while I was signing who didn't even look my way. All in all not as bad as I was expecting. TFTC.
Time to sit down for lunch after finding the new caches on Te Araroa track. A nice hide. Thanks tmann421 for the cache.
Drove past here while getting other Pukerua Bay caches but a muggle was playing solo football in the reserve. No amount of stealth can avoid that so maybe next time.
Early Sunday morning so no one is about. A quick find in our way home after an amazing day at Mana Island yesterday. TFTC
I don't get that enthusiastic about caches that have "stealth required" as an attribute. And this one had it as a title!
I thought early afternoon on a workday Wednesday would be as good a time as any so I decided to give it a go. I wasn't not aware of anybody watching me but who would know? The cache is thoughtfully placed so I was pleased to not have to spend too much time searching for it.

Still just as in need of stealth as at my last visit. Wonderfully sneaky stash, found by me after Selesi and I had toured the little settlement. No graffiti anywhere either.
Out with Gilgul for a wander around the area. Godd place to stop and retie ones shoes. TFTC
I came to get the two caches in this area. Tried this one first but there was a kid playing basketball so went off to the other one. Thought I'd try it again on the off chance kid had departed and he had. Quick find. TFTC
Heading to waikanae and the traffic was a complete stop due to an accident. Took the opportunity to stop and grab a geocache or 2. Quick find but not what I was first looking for. TFTC
Suburbia hidden away here. And as a previous visitor has already observed, they love their flags around here. Visited on a quiet and tranquil summer Sunday morning. The usual stuff happening; lawn mowing, car washing, hanging out the washing and so on. Such that they paid no attention to a couple choosing to plonk themselves at what I guess to be a very infrequently used park table.
Soon we had the small but well designed cache container in hand. Immediately following, log book signing.
All in order here; log signed, cache then safely re-hidden. All accomplished with great style and stealth.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

This one picked our moral up. Bit of a flag compition going on in this neighbourhood.
[green] On my way to Palmerston North for Christmas, and caching along the way. An awesome day to be out and about.
I used to live in Pukerua Bay. Over the other end of, though.
Easy find.

#1382. What a contrast from the last cache. A small park in the middle of a suburban enclave with muggles busy working on cars, houses, lawns or whatever. Can't imagine anyone wanting to picnic in this goldfish bowl! Well I took the plunge and sat down for all to ogle and wonder. Mucked around with stuff in my pack for a bit hoping they would grow bored. Then started to feel in the four likely hiding spots. Cache felt in No.4 of course. Soon had the log in hand, signed and slipped back into place. Then photographed the park and back to the car. Must leave the locals wondering. Thanks for the cache.
A cold drizzly northerly meant the locals were indoors watching the telly or whatever they do in these parts. Anyone who did see me must have wondered who the nutter was, stopping there for an snack and a drink when there were more sheltered places! Nevertheless, a quick find-and-sign under cover of the "picnic", then off down to catch the train. TFTC!
Quick find, cold and windy so no-one about. Some nice houses in this area. Tftc.
Hmmmm, don't think so! Because it was no one around and all the drive ways were empty So it was a quick grab and it got it ... btw this was the second found in my new home town

No stealth required here today. Too cold and rainy. So it was a straight forward find. With the 2 grandchn. They ere amazed at the size.... thank you for this cache. I hope to. Look for the other 2 caches up in this area on my next visit hopefully it will be finer.

I thought I was done for the day, but found enough time to quickly do this park and grab with the geokids. A quick find. TFTC
Cache # 2,365 - Took a little while to find where this little bugger was hiding. Fortunately had the appropriate tools to retrieve cache and return it. Did today with Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. only had a postie as a muggle nearby and he was way too involved with his work to pay attention to us. TFTC!
Found today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. Thanks!

Easy find but a little tricky to retrieve. Muggles around Took a Friend as better camoflage. TFTC
Checked and container is gone - will try to come up with something a bit harder to muggle!
Ate morning tea at the picnic table as our stealth cover (really strange behavior in this very exposed park). We resorted to increasingly obvious moves as the cache eluded us. Considering everyone else found it so easily I suspect it may be gone
Bit overcast and cool when I arrived at GZ, and no-one to be seen around the vicinity. Cache was a nice quick find luckily. Interesting to check out these streets around Pukerua Bay - places you never usually see as you drive past on SH1.

There are approximately 100 Geocaches that I have found over the last month or so and have not found time to log, so I do honestly and sincerely appologize for the lack of originality in my log for this cache, as it will be the same as several others, I am just trying to keep my page up-to-date with my real-time caches (I'm logging my caches on the date-of-find, nonetheless), and since it was found so long ago I don't remember it clearly enough to write anything specific about it. [Log written on the 13/12]. Thanks very muchly for the cache!
Very appropriate title! Its a bit like being Eric the paranoid goldfish in his bowl on top of the telly. Fortunately I had Poppy the Geo-Staffy with me so after a bit of rough and tumble play fighting, the cache was successfully in my pocket. Then back to the car for a bowl of doggy water (and secret log signing) then another quick round of play fighting and the cache was back where found. Thank you Poppy. SLTFTC
Quick and easy find in a totally deserted area. Never knew this place even existed. Thanks for the cache. Did with Mycro Man
Quick n easy

After jogging up to this one, I was ready for a rest, so wandered up to GZ, took a seat and put my hands on the cache: SWEET. Can't get much stealthier than that. Felt very smug signing the log. Thanks for the cache, and hi again from Tassie.
Find #2065. An afternoon on the bike in Pukerua Bay after the morning showers had cleared. No stealth required - all quiet in the cold southerly wind. Lots of NZ/All Blacks flags flying and a lone South African - on the day after the game at the cake tin. SL TFTC
Straight forward find in an area that surprised me. Brand new subdivision which was not what I was expecting. TFTC.
I enjoyed a leisurely hour finding the recent caches up this way this afternoon. Being mobile again, and working half days has some advantages. Muggle free today. Cheers and TFTC
Penultimate find for the day after a great day caching up to just past Wanganui and back. Not to difficult to complete despite the presence of muggles not to far away, and always good to pretend you're playing games on the phone! TFTC, #6723
Bkj97 had it in a flash so I did the phone distraction thing to disguise our real intentions. T4TCSL
Muggles either at work or keeping warm from the elements. Exposed to a strong wind when I was writing on the log sheet. TFTC to keep the numbers ticking by.
Quickly found. In a place like this you just have to hope that no one is watching! Tftc.
A potentially rather large audience at this one, sneaked in under the cover of darkness for a quick find.

Called here on my way past this afternoon. I spotted the cache from the car as I approached so have replaced it so that it's a little less obvious. Nobody about today in between rain showers. Signed log, TFTC.
On the way to Palmerston North, decided to drop in here in the off chance of a ftf. not to be....
Great spot, and the smiley flag just made the day.

FTF at about 10am this morning thanks for the cache, surprisingly hadn't cached in Pukerua bay before today.
Quick find today. No stealth required today because rain keeps the muggles away. TFTC
Saw this alert come through at 8.41 am and is less than 15 minutes from home. Had a real chance at my first FTF, except I was in Masterton ... sigh ...
Stealth sure is required on this one which I did with Princess-Emily. Quick find. Nice job on the camoed paintwork exterior.
