Logs
Previous logs helped to find cache. Was in broad daylight so just gunned for it and out as quick as i could
Visited the GZ early when the roads were nice and quiet giving us plenty of time to search. Great hiding spot. TFTC
Had a great time finding this one! I love how having a geokid with you makes some of the things you have to do to get a cache seem more plausible to those passing by. Thanks goodness our geokid is half monkey! TFTC Keylev!
For some silly reason, I have struggled to find this one but finally today, there it was. Obviously I am gunna say I thought I looked there but nice to have the smilie here TFTC
Loved it! One of my favourites. Traffic must have thought we were nuts. Strategically delegated the hard stuff to my taller brother
#10520. The last of the series for us today. After failing to find the cache in the initial places we searched, I tried a bit higher, and there was the cache. To be fair to BTC, it is one of the better malls around (I much prefer the 'town centre' layout to the huge enclosed mall layout). TFTC.
After Christmas brunch at sister-in-law's, we decided to head to nearby Botany Town Centre to look for a few caches while the area was deserted.
This cache would be nigh on impossible to get if anyone else was waiting at the bus stop - that was not a problem today. Not sure if I would be able to retrieve by myself. Thanks for the series of caches in one of my least favourite places. TFTC.

Humf!!! Spent some time on this and nothing came to hand. Studied the logs and still nothing to hand so we gave up.
Tftc. Had me going on this one. All the traffic going past must have thought I was crazy. Don't care i found it.
Headed out to Botany this evening to find another cache in this series with Mr HeMaLuDy, Mr Stik-a-crane and Mr NZTravellers. After finding that one, we headed off for refreshments, and then I mentioned that I hadn't found another couple of the series, and very cheekily asked for a hint, as I had DNF'd this cache a couple of times now. Very kindly, Mr NZTravellers and Mr Stik-a-crane offered to accompany me, so off we went.
I had attempted this one previously with mini NewlynFam, on a quiet evening in the dark, when no one was around. This night was like that too, so a perfect night for hunting. As we got close, I was explaining to Mr NZtravellers and Mr Stik-a-crane how I had hunted last time, and that I had thought I was searching in the right place. They made some encouraging noises, so once we got to GZ, I demonstrated this searching technique again, to more encouraging noises. Frustratingly, I then quickly found the cache WITHIN INCHES of where I had been hunting last time.... I just hadn't hunted hard enough last time!!!!
TFTC keylev.... glad to have found this "evil" (as described once by Mr NZTravellers) cache

After doing some evening shopping, miss said i had just enough time to have a go at this one before heading home. Spent a few minutes searching until the cache was located. Glad to do this one in darkness rather than daylight. TFTC keylev
Out with beconaze for some caching not shopping (well not much). Mrs beconaze hunted this one out. Very satisfying after the DNFs. TFTC
This one had 3 of us looking for a while. Eventually Mrs beconaze made the find aided by a helpful temporary change to the structure
Was out and about with little miss NewlynFam, and we were going right past, so we thought we would give it a try, even though I had heard from NZTravellers that this was a rather "evil" hide. But it was late, dark, and no people around, so I couldn't resist. Parked up just about on top of it, and began searching.... looked up.....l looked over..... looked all around.... did a bit of clambouring.... but nope, no cache to be found. Had to give up, as we had promised friend that we would drop something off in 10 minutes, and that was now 15 minutes ago- and we still had to get there!!! We will return!!!
keylev- this is the second of your BTC series that I can't find!!!! Starting to bug me lol.... gonna have to come back soon and have a real good look, or else I'm going to start worrying that I'm losing my touch!!!

I have a hate hate relationship with shopping malls - way too many people to feel comfortable. However with this many caches up for grabs I just had to make the effort. Quite successful as it turns out.
After a DNF a couple of minutes ago I panicked when I got to 0m on my GPSr and nothing matched the hint. I backtracked a few paces and then panicked when too much matched the hint at the obvious GZ. Gave it a once over, checked the cache details, noticed something being slightly higher than I had first thought in the description, adjusted my approach and spotted the cache nicely tucked away. Phew! Panic over. Thanks!
Wow took some hunting to find this one! Not too many muggles but it is very well hidden!! TFTC.
Monies you were right! Check out Auckland Geocaches Facebook for competitions and games
Found after a nearby event with team Hemaludy.
All 3 phones put us in the same place, but no cigar... Widened the search a little and Mr Hemaludy made the find.

After Mrs HeMaLuDy, and the minis had tried to find this a week or so ago around 5 pm - with quite a few muggles around and buses stopping they were unsuccessful. Returned tonight after the geo bowling event with Stik-a-crane. Mr HeMaLuDy was successful this time. Very clever container. Police sirens heading in our direction as we left the scene prompted much speculation as to what they would have thought seeing 3 adults and 3 children clambouring all over here.
Unfortunately a DNF for us, searched every where but couldn't find anything. The only cache in the series we couldn't find
I thought I'd do a quick walk around and grab the caches at the shopping centre while Mrs TF was doing her best to ensure that the local retailers recession was over. Thanks.
This was a tricky one! I found it eventually, but only with a hint from jgbeau. A good one to do after dark.
Mr F found this one while I waited with the (sleeping) kids in the carpark. He said it was pretty sneaky and it was probably good he went as I'm a shorty and may not have had the reach for it! Pfft. I'm sure I would've managed.
Well third visit here. Today sent us to the roadside on two GPS 's. We searched hi and lo with no success. This cache has been an annoyance and might have to eventually concede defeat. Have no PAF option so will have to rely on the CO sympathy for a clue to helps us change this to a smile! !

Well a HUGE thanks to keylev for his immediate response to our dnf. Don't know how I hadn't seen this the first time with little Miss NZTtavellers as we scoured this place all over. Very relieved to make this a smiley albeit with a hint from the CO. TFTC and clue.

Got this one on my second attempt after some help from the CO - thanks heaps. A very clever find indeed. +FP
Clever camo. Thanks, a quick find while taking my grandson for a walk in his pushchair.
Walked up to this cache with yorkshirekiwi83 after the event at Nandos and just before the Geobowling event, with the intention of grabbing some more of this series as well. However, this find took us a little longer than anticipated, and resulted in us PAF for some help with this find! Very cleverly placed, TFTC! Now off to do some bowling.....
Headed out with vamber after dinner at Nandos, we had some time before the GeoBowling event and we thought we might be able to grab a couple of caches.
Got to site and we were all using mobiles, got to the correct side and we were looking, and looking, still looking but getting close to Geobowling time, quick PAF and had a better idea where to look further, finally found the tricky little hide and wearing heels as well!!

I was able to focus my efforts thanks to a geo-whisperer and then found it in the 83rd spot I searched. TFTC.
Had a fair bit of shopping to do at BTC so did a cache/shop combo. Caching before the shops opened, then the shopping.
Arrived at GZ and made a few glances in every direction. No luck. Looked here, looked over there, looked anywhere. Aha, there it is. Nice hide!

Awesome cache. Love the container. Timing needed to be perfect. Gets a fav point from me
Took a little bit to work out the ideal parking spot. Gave the area a good search but couldn't find the tricky thing. Noted the terrain rating so changed my approach. But, evidently, not enough. Resorted to the PAH option, quick find after that. Interesting container. Cheers for the hide!
Took a few minutes of looking around - had a rough idea of where it would be but just had to find the right spot! Got dirty hands in the process!! TFTC
After success at #3 in the series, I headed around to this one and found Gorby already looking. Joined in the search and it was not long before the container revealed itself for a joint FTF. Nice one. {FTF} #1615 TFTC!!!
Yes indeed! I made a frantic drive across town to have a go at these 3 caches in the wee hours of this morning! This happened to be the first I attempted, got there, just started searching and who should turn up? That's a familiar face I have seen before! FMZ then joined in the search with me and we soon had the cache in hand, I wouldn't want to try this during a busy period! Thanks for the cache keylev Joint FTF with FMZ. FTF #16
