The AFL Grand Final is on in Melbourne this weekend so it is a great time to get out of the place for a long weekend away and any excuse to go caching.I checked the weather conditions of North, South, East and West in my part of the country and West won out so Im heading over to Murray Bridge for 3 nights as I was able to get Thursday off and make it a 4 day break. The weather is looking good and I left Melbourne nice and early to make the most of my break.I have crossed the border into SA so let the fun begin. The ice cream series and the new Straya challenge caches was the main reason for heading this way when I picked which direction I was heading. After completing the Ice cream series yesterday and now the Straya series then some lunch in Tailem Bend then some of the Wandering Heros and GEOPETS caches its time to head back to Murray Bridge.Heading back to camp and I was doing an Ad Lab point here and soon realised that there was a cache here as well.Off for a walk to GZ.Thanks itsandbits TFTC.
We walked to Bellas Beautiful Billabong and saw a beautiful view and found your cache Tftc
Found with puponyx on our trip to attend CPWanderers event tomorrow, gotta love a road trip. We went the wrong way the first time, but it was a lovely walk with hevwalker. Once on the right track a quick find at GZ, Took tb. TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches. Beautiful spot. Thanks for the hide
TFTC some confusion with gates & fences but once found I went back to my school days with the (tree) smell
Find # 13980I'm in the Adelaide area for the Great Leap Forward event. Not just for the days event, but making it a week long trip of caching n catching up with mates.Flying solo......Day 8. Homeward-bound.Day started off with a tree climb and a big stretch off the ground. Then a bit of a look around Mt Barker. Then it was the trails. It's been a while since I've hit a long trail and being alone it was just me and the caches to fill the rest of the day in. Some power trails are tougher than others, ie parking locations and barriers can be annoying and chew up time. But happily I managed all hurdles. Even the odd orb spider that made some tracks mazes. Happily that what I'd pland out fell into place with only a couple of DNFs.End of day was a surprise with my biggest solo grab of over 300 in a day. But I have plenty more trails in SA to utilise if I want to better that score TFTC itsandbits & CPwanderer
TFTC. Setting up camp for a week in Murray Bridge before the MEGA for 29th Feb!Moving to Ballarat for another week afterwards. Last hurrah travelling before wooding season at home starts!Happy caching and safe travels!
Awesome spot. Not wrong about the view. I wore thongs. Possibly a mistake on my part haha
TFTC out for a drive for my sons birthday and decided to stop and found the cache
This is certainly a beautiful billabong - the birdlife in the area was plentiful. After a short walk, the cache was located in a position consistent with the hint. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks itsandbits & CPwanderer for the cache in a area with a lovely view.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
Devilish
Brilliant and Clever
I like it

Lovely morning walk before we pack up and go home. Beautiful place, shame about the toilet paper. Why can't people clean up. Obviously not cachers
TYFTC walking from the road I had a family of rabbits running in front. Thankfully no other creatures out today.
out for a quick drive this morning with geopup and decided to stop here on my way past, nice location, cache and log in very good condition TYFTC
Found on a caching day in Murray Bridge. Woild never have come to this beautiful spot without geocaching. Tftc
We even saw the easter bunny.
We even saw the easter bunny.
Cache was out in the open, a few meters from where I think it belongs. Lid was on firmly and contents all good. Do rabbits move caches? Lots of evidence of rabbit activity here. Cache moved back and covered, thanks for bringing me to another nice river spot on the east side.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I had a general plan to head towards Murray Bridge, and do some walks and hiking in one of the many parks in the vicinity. It turned out that there were a few FTFs still available, and so we called past the Monarto area first to find those, before walking through the Monarto Woodlands. We then made a long detour drive past a couple of oldie caches, and called into Murray Bridge for an enjoyable bakery lunch. We then spent the afternoon around the foreshore of Murray Bridge, and completed the new *Port Mobilong* Adventure Lab in the area. A final drive to across the Murray to Riverglades, Avoca Dell, and Murray Bridge East to check out a few new areas, and then returning home in the late afternoon. An enjoyable day with only a few minor showers, but otherwise not too bad.
We parked nearby to this cache, and wandered across the reserve, past the nice lookout seat, and down towards GZ. Thankfully, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks itsandbits and CPwanderer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Some nice views from here.

Lovely spot for a bite of lunch. Plenty of frogs singing. Only spoilt by the constant noise from speed boats and jet ski's. TFTC
Today wasn't about numbers it was about a) finding a cache to complete my DT matrix after almost 6 years of caching and b) finding my Wandering Heroes cache. Both of these missions were accomplished, which meant this was a very special day of caching.
Set off from home at 10.30 to head to Hahndorf where the geohusband and I went for a gin tasting which was brilliant, 2 bottles were purchased one of which I am enjoying now whilst writing my logs. We then did a bit of shopping and the crappy weather put the husband off so he and the hound headed back down the hill home.
I called Davidwazza who was meeting me to help with my final DT square. Met him to do that and then continued on with the rest of my caching.
All up around 25 caches were found for the day, many km driven, got very wet, then got dry. Excellent day of varied caching including one bonus find from 2001. Home happy!
It was lovely down by the river this arvo, enjoyed the walk and the nice find here. TFTC itsandbits & CPwanderer.

Found ourselves caching around Murray Bridge while spending a week house-sitting at Nairne. Gorgeous weather too.
All caches were found and log books signed. Took TB's to visit and help one little duck (in a race) gain some mileage.
