Hi there 3 Lost Girls.
This is the 2nd of 4 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, there's a silica gel packet at GZ, but definitely no cache. We wonder if the farmer has come back and removed the cache.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Hi there 3 Lost Girls,
RE: Your cache **"Bingara Airstrip"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is missing. (See our DNF log).
Normally we would have replaced/maintained the cache but we suspect it would just go missing again if the local farmer sees it.
Regards
Ian & Penny

A farmer came to se what I was doing. Just to make sure that I did not interfear with the plane parked on the strip. I ignored him and he eventually lost interest and drove off.
Goodness this one sticks out like the previable dog's whatsit. How come it has not been muggled?

I am on my way home from the OZ Geomuster in Morisset.
Today's geocaching adventure has taken me from Bingara to Emmaville.
This was my another stop along the way for the day.
And I continue to make my way north back to Toowoomba.
A short search before spotting this one.
Thanks for the cache.

On the road again as we slowly move south towards home having completed our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Not a huge drive today just as far as Bingara.
This was find #2 for the day.
Almost a DIDO. It would have been except the container was so badly broken up, I returned to the caravan and grabbed a spare one. Luckily the same size so the old lid could be retained. Placed log in a ziplock bag after signing duties were completed and returned cache to its hidey hole.
Thanks for yet another of your caches 3 Lost Girls.

Found at 4:09 PM GAFF1.
We were able to enter the air field with our van and get right up next to GZ as there was no one about today. Found the fractured container and was interested to see that there was an access from the nearby farm as well.
Thanks 3 Lost Girls.

All Good .. TFTC ..
The poor old container has seen better days, but all contents are dry.

Working in the area i decided to stop by here and find a cache for a break. made a quick find. TFTC
No jets landing today, gave us a free run to locate this cache. All good, thanks.
Great country grass airstrip - reminds me of New Guinea (less the jungle!).
Good hint had us on to this one in seconds.
Found at 6.08pm on 4th January, 2016. TFTC.

#2758 th - Was not worth the effort cycling up the soft gravel road. Easier walking instead of cycling with a full load aboard. Quick find of the fighter jet though.
All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour via the highest peak in each State and mainland Territory.

Many thanks to the cache owner 3 Lost Girls for establishing and maintaining yet another local cache.

Who would have thought there was a runway here. Loving your containers and love the hints, no damage done to the area but showing us the area. TFTC
thought it was going to be easy but then the GPS wanted us to keep walking, oh there, still an easy find but great container. TFTC
After disturbing the cows - sorry! We started the search and cache was found quickly hiding in its special hangar. TFTC.
Still clocking up a few more caches while in the area. 3 Lost Girls have kept us busy.
Thanks for the hide.
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet - sour pathtag, a grannysmith path tag, a geo achievement 500 caches award, and an f14 Tomcat and a scotch and soda, oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 23)

It's great to have some good finds in a nice area on a beautiful day. TNLN. Liked the container! Thanks.
Found on journey away from the Mega. Today we travelling form Watrialda to Tamworth so we are only stopping for the occasional cache.

Found this cache and thankfully there were no aircraft to be seen or heard while we were there. TFTC.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
On our way to Stanthorpe for the Mega 2015. Cool spot.
Thanks for placing a cache here 3 Lost Girls!

A nice little detour from the roadside today
As for access, well, it is a landing strip, or Authorised Landing Area to be correct
There could be cattle on the strip, so a stray cacher should be no surprise to pilots [;P]
"If" has a lot of experience with airfields big and small
They are full of surprises !!
Having said that, please lookout for aircraft
Park near the shed, and stroll to GZ with ears open !!
YBIA is a neat little strip and probably doesn't get too many flying visits, but you know Murphy's Law !!
I do have to agree with au.fait though, this cache would be better located at the cattle grid
Nice spot, TFTC

An easy find in a highly illegal and dangerous place. Nothing and nobody is allowed on airfields unless they are an authorised person. I am very surprised this one has been published TFTC 3Lost Girls

Fourth day in a row with rain, and we decided to move west instead of continuing our camping trip towards the north.
First time we have driven on an airstrip towing the camper trailer.
First time we have driven on an airstrip towing the camper trailer.
We are on a road trip heading to the ACT. We are towing our caravan and are enjoying traversing the back road where quite often there is an opportunity to stop and do a cache without being annoying to any other traffic. We have also based ourselves in Cecil Plains and Warialda and done some of the most enjoyable and creative caches we have ever done. We are so impressed with the standard of these caches. [^][^] Thanks to 3 Lost Girls.
We had an overnight stop here at Bingara , camping beside the peaceful river.
We were up early to find the local caches before back on the road again heading to Goondawindi.
This was like having a local tiki tour of the town. Lots of good caches for a small town.
The airstrip was not what we expected to see.

Moderate flight condition today with winds from the north gusting to 10 knots. Funnily enough the plane with the cache could land at this strip. Scary! TFTH
Found ok but watch out for snakes. Thanks 3 Lost Girls for the great variety of caches.
Looked at the map at this cache's location. Woah! that IS close to the airfield. No wonder we love country caching so much . . . and we love a {FTF}, found at 2.25pm. TFTC 3 Lost Girls.
