Went and checked on this today after dropping off another load to storage. It has indeed been taken from the branch it was attached to. As my caching containers are packed away I am archiving this cache. Good luck to the person who took it as you are a thief. This is where it was and the container that was there.
I checked the other logs and gave up easily, to be fair.
Cheers and thanks,

As we are now allowed to 'break our bubbles' I have re-enabled this cache. Will also check on it as we had a couple of DNF's before lockdown.
Happy hunting.
Happy hunting.
Due to Covid-19 requirements for us ALL TO STAY HOME it should have been obvious that no one goes Caching. However I've received two DNF logs which I will reply to. Once we are out of lockdown I will go see what's happened to it.

Enjoying a very nice walk along the river. We are pet sitters from California doing a Petsit here in Christchurch for two weeks having a good time
The last of five caches I located in South Brighton on a bike ride from Pleasant Point Domain northwards past the estuary and alongside the river. Arrived at this one thinking it might take a little while to find. Fortunately that wasn’t the case. Thankfully I spotted it reasonably quickly! #3005. TFTC.
There were some muggles who had somehow driven a car here and parked on the river bank nearby. Trying to extract the cache without drawing their attention was a bit of an effort. We probably spent longer about it than we needed to, but finally had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Did some maintenance on this today. Replaced log etc Cache is all good and ready for more finds to take place.
Ni e hide. GPS'er lead me right to it. After my find owner did maintenance in it. TFTC.
Thoroughly enjoyed the days caching. Wonderful view and came across some lovely dogs along the walk
Found while visiting the area to take some brownies fishing. They enjoyed hunting for the cache! TFTC
Another simple find here as I go up and down the spit.
TFTC MadCat9.
A few days in the Christchurch area catching up with family in the Easter/ANZAC break and doing a bit of impromptu caching. Today’s targets were on the northern entrance and out by New Brighton.
Thanks to all COs

Out and about in New Brighton. This area is looking really sad now.
I had a nice walk down to here.
Cheers for the cache.

A really interesting look around the area today collecting a number of caches. Had not been out this way since the big earthquake. Thanks to the many CO's for maintaining your caches in such a great spot, which is quite unique in a number of ways. TFTC
Out on a geodog and pine cone gathering mission. Not a lot of flora around it when we found it! Tftc
This took a lot longer than we thought it would and just as we were about to give up . . . found it!
In Christchurch for the weekend with my partner and while she is doing a 2 day course I came up with her as it is the perfect time to log lots of caches and try to log 2000 before next year. TFTC sadly I did find this one. But the dog next door made lots of noise while I was there.

Found on a dog walk. Was checking the more obvious native flora first but to my surprise turned out that the cache is not in these, usual ones!

Had to time the retrieval and return in between a muggle and his dog trying to decide where they were going. TFTC MadCat9

A beautiful day for a walk and some caching. This cache was a quick find. TFTC.
I have decided to fall in love with Christchurch. After waiting for the city to come up with ways I could embrace it, I realised it was time for me to take some steps instead. And what better way to do that than finding a few caches and exploring the area! To that effect, I left the house nice and early while the temperature was still well below zero, and set off to find some in town before continuing on a walk or two of some sort. Quick find here after letting a muggle family pass by and pretending to take pictures. The parking coordinates are no longer accessible by vehicle btw, the road is closed before Evans Ave turnoff. TFTC!!
Out for a walk to this easy find during a break from the Coastal Restoration meeting at New Brighton. Sad to see all the sections that used to have houses.

From Melbourne and doing a tiki tour of the South Island after visiting family in Nelson. Grabbing a few caches on our travels. TFTC.
What a great walkway and area! I especially love the sculpture. Very creative. Found the cache easily enough. Thank you MadCat9!
Took us a while to nab this one.- and then Corunnaroad spotted it. Glad to tick it off our list. tftc
Glad to get this one. Think I have tried before but made the find and onto the next one.
Lovely day to cycle along the river, see the nearby sculpture and view our lovely port hills. TFTC TNLNSL
Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Long trip, but surprisingly we arrived there very tired, almost two days and two nights without sleep, but it took just 24 hours we got used to the new day.
Having Been to Akaroa and Kaukoura, and trail AHHH FRESH, today we decide to go down to South New Brighton, along the river, beautiful landscape reminds us of the Camargue in France, many water birds, there is a lot of wind at times you walk fatigue, then we follow the dunes by the sea.
Greetings from Italy

Another GC bites the dust! Stopped off to find this whilst on our family SI road trip
Quick find. Not a soul around Sunday 7pm. A few birds only. Too cold to be out now. Tftc
I was a little nervous walking this path alone. Soon realised it was very popular with dog walkers which put me at ease. Quickly got catch. Thanks
Cache 56. trail was actually quite busy and got some weird looks from an old couple. TFTC
A fun road trip with tmann421 enjoying the sights and collecting some caches.

I was keen to visit Southshore this afternoon for a spot of geocaching as we hadn't been to that area for several years and heaps of new caches had popped up in the meantime. It was a bit chilly to start with but the sun made an appearance later on and our extremities finally warmed up.
This was the last cache of the afternoon and we parked on the northern end of the walk way. A few dog walkers around here but we grabbed the cache in between passers by. It was located a bit higher than I was expecting from the hint but an easy find never the less. Took a photo of a bit of urban art we passed en route, cool.
Now time to head home for a well deserved cup of coffee. TFTC.

#12573. I had taken over the driving for the trip home, but Troodles found one more cache for us to do en route. It involved a short walk, but was a quick find. TFTC.
Little bit of a wander around till GPS decided to point in the right direction cache soon in hand after that left a couple of TB's in exchange.
Went out with injeanious after work to pick up a few caches. This was a nice wee walk with not many people around. Left TB. TFTC!
After a few detours we made our way to the area and soon found ourselves at GZ. We grabbed the cache before we could get sprung by muggles. Tftc.
Didn't have my gps with me and had to rely on Victoriousone's cell phone to find - just on dusk and I left her to try to locate - without success. Will really need to have all the gear next time - gps and torch for starters if doing at this time of night. Did talk to dog walking muggle drinking a beer at the same time who wondered if we had lost something. We had - the cache
I tried to come in from the northern end (Hardy St area) but there were people working and fences up so I walked south until I found a way in. Cache was quickly located and I was pleased to get the smiley after that extra walking. Dropped off a TB.
