Tried this one on the way and on the way back!
No luck today! Only thing I gained was a Bull ant sting!!!! So the return hunt I was a little less enthusiastic!
Thanks for maintaining the cache

Another day completing this trail. Another late start. We have split up to knock a few off. Great cache idea. Thought the container was meant to keep contents dry. Log book soaked.
Wasn’t expecting that one!! Spent a long time looking but didn’t realise it was right in front of us!
As 2021 draws to a close I find myself with some time off work for a couple of trips, first to Narrabri for a funeral and a day later heading to Bermagui for some well earned rest and relaxation. Oh what a year it has been.
Found whilst in Bermigui and slowly working towards my goal of 2000 finds by the end of the year...
A clever pun and a cool cache. Well worth a fav point

Found . No pen on me today . And the pencil in the cache was broken. Also the log was a bit soggy. Great little walk though
Thought we would stop and look for a couple of caches while we are staying in bermagui. Thankyou for making our day!!! - cheers Jesse and Chloe
Another great hide along a beautiful beach track. Left a “Scrabble” trackable. TFTC
Found on a mini-day trip from Narooma to Bermagui. We made our way around some big puddles in the middle of the track, and then made a quick find at GZ. A funny hide! Excellent views once again: TFTC dghoffy and elysium_au!
You’d really boot yourself if you didn’t find this one. I managed in the rain and dark.

My geo-partner found it straight away, which we shrugged off because that surely wouldn't be it. Looked about and ended up coming back to the original spot.
Good hide, thank you
Good hide, thank you
Spent a lot of time searching with a group of three, to no avail. Even though it’s already been logged today. A real head scratcher, even though rated an easy find!!
Looked for this one on a solitary walk with sterilised hands before and after
No luck with the cache although I thought I knew what I was looking for
Maybe another time

Found what we believe could have been the cache, was laying the ground, wet, with no log to be seen.
Pretty sure we found what was meant to be it, was on the ground, wet and dirty with no log in site.
Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.

Been a lovely walk.
last day at the beautiful coast. It’s been an awesome weekend.
Found with Smittengranny, Kittykatch and Grimraider caching as Capital Crunchers. The caching catchup was a great success. TFTC

So cute man I love this trail!! A fav from me
Spending a glorious weekend down the Sappire Coast as part of the Canberra Invasion. Whilst the invasion meant the chance to catch up with many cachers at events and at different spots (and a delightful excuse to celebrate Lovetherabbitohs 18th birthday), I spent most of the weekend on the hunt with the CGI crew: Fitzy_1965, DarzeeDi, Minniek , K8TYBEE , GLISS!, GSC2000 Lovetherabbitohs, B0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Thanks so much for keeping all the caches alive and making this weekend a possibility! Tftc

Out and about with nibletricecakes and the Goulburn/Canberra crew. Scouting the coastline for treasures... my first big caching weekend! TFTC (and trail)
Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Day 2 saw us head towards Tathra with all caches along the way in our sights, most of which was the SST series. All caches were quickly found. We certainly loved the variety.
What a lovely walk this is....stopped along the way to enjoy the views....oh and grab a few caches.

This weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals, camping at Wallaga Lake Big4.
Today was day 2 of our adventure and once again the weather was glorious a little warmer than yesterday, loved the company, lots of laughs and stories making a great day. I just loved the different caches and ability to park safely and enjoy the experience, some a little harder to find than others but found in the end. It didn't take long to find this one and the container fitted in well with the name of the cache, log was a little damp but thank god I had my water pen We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and we all enjoyed ourselves, we all had a great day and all said how much a fantastic series it was. The long weekend had arrived and off I go as part of the Canberra geocachers invasion for the SST series and any others along the way! A great weekend of camping, caching and socialising with a great bunch of people!
Took me a few looks before I spied a suspicious looking pile which uncovered another fun but squelchy hide!
Thanks for the hide, dghoffy

Cache 5144 on 9 Jun 2019.
This was a long awaited and planned geocaching mission to the south coast with a few other Canberra cachers. Bobl27, TikvaNZ and I drove down Saturday morning and picked up a few caches on the way to the main goal which was the SST. We picked up 19 caches Saturday getting warmed up for the main day today, Sunday. And such pretty views from so many cache spots.
This cache: yes indeed, hop along!
Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the fun!

Found with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ on a lovely long weekend down the coast. Great caches and good variety, some tricky and some easier. TFTC
I was hopping along the track from the last cache back
A great relief from the stop, start caching on the main road
Lots of little places along the way,
to lookout over the cliffs today [^]
And here when I stopped another time,
the cache was found and this line will rhyme [:o)]
Good views here over the sea,
and what's that there ??
A cache I see [^]

We have had our eye on this geocaching trail for a long time now, and so with our current travels taking us south down the coast we of course wanted to gain a few smilies. We enjoyed the trail with its many varied cache hides and the locations the caches led us to. Some of the caches were quite challenging to find while others gave themselves up much easier. It was a very windy day with a bit of drizzly rain, but certainly nothing to deter us from another great day out geocaching, and so many thanks to the CO for the extraordinary amount of time and effort put into laying this trail, although we will have to wait for another visit to complete the north bound section - something to look forward to! We soon found this well named cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Back in February I was in training for a half marathon and so did a 10km run and found some caches along the way. For some reason I neglected to log those cache. Sorry for the late log
Checked on this one and it was indeed missing its contents. With the COs permission have replaced log book, pencil and waterproof container.
Found what we thought was the obvious blue clue, but no luck. The kids were terrified of spiders and snakes, so we had to leave
We found a point to access the coastal track and it was a very enjoyable walk along the cliff top. The views were spectacular. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find of a novel cache. There was water inside the cache but by being bagged, the logbook was dry.. Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the enjoyable series.
Awesome find by Geoson number 2 after a good search. Love these kinds of caches that make you think. Thanks SST
I was just about to log this one off as a DNF when something suspicious caught my eye. Once again the title of this cache is your greatest clue. TFTC!
This one took a bit longer to find than it should have... So many possible hiding spots!

G&T had planned a raid on the SST series in the hope of ticking off the required 100 finds for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. So we came down and had a very successful weekend, with 50 finds on the Saturday and at least 60 on the Sunday, and only 2 or 3 DNFs overall. We completed the SST loop, although we skipped a few here and there when we missed a turnoff or it looked like a given cache might take too long to get to, given we were on a numbers run. But I was really impressed with this series, finding it much more interesting than a boring power trail. There's obviously been genuine thought and in many cases clever workmanship going into the hides. To have so many of such quality and variety is quite an achievement and made the numbers run much more enjoyable than it could have been, were we pursuing endless "tupperware under a bush" hides. People concerned about the lack of hints just need to pay more attention to the clever naming system, in most cases. I also appreciate the thought that went into planning a particular route around the caches - clockwise, which we followed as advised - and the selection of safe places to pull over.
We decided to divide and conquer this small sub-series. This one took a little while to track down. TFTC!

Find Number 1551, found at 12:22
With the current Groundspeak promotion encouraging caching for the numbers, GeoSon NationalSteel and I decided to try for all 100 finds in a two day weekend. The only signifiicant series that neither of us had found was the SST, so we set off down South to try our luck.
This took me far longer than it should. I probably spent 10 minutes looking in all the wrong places until I suddenly spotted something obvious. Yes, there was the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log using the signature GT/NS and replaced the container as found
Thanks dghoffy for the cache.

This series is very challenging, each cache is different and ain’t a simple drive-by. These were placed by die-hard cachers so be warned. Day 2. Well hidden beneath local debris. Tftc
Found on a few days away from work. Nice to be out caching. Thankyou for the cache .
