Reperio 14:06Day 4 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I travelled from Batemans Bay to Eden. The biggest factor of our travels today was the wind. Often blowing so hard it was a challenge to both get the log signed and hang onto zip lock bags. The journey along the coast was fantastic. With rain threatening to arrive early the next day, we aimed to get as much done as we could, and so concentrated our effort on ticking off the caches along Bengello Beach. As we continued down the coast, we turned our focus to finding the SST series. Found most of the caches we searched for, so it was a great day out. Found easily enough off the path. Thought it was rubbish but it had a log inside! TFTC, SL at 10:40am.

This one had us scratching our heads and scratching around in the bush for at least 5 minutes. Eventually spotted something that would hide a cache. Yes there it was.
#12739 13:45A short walk from the roadside where Brewmaker wanted to avenge a DNF. This time around the cache was found easily as Everest High already found it a minute before our arrival. A great beach was spotted below and it was tempting to find a way down for a dip. But we were thirsty and we had to go back to the Tathra Hotel for the Beer O'Clock event.TFTC
All this geocaching is thirsty work. It's good to avenge a DNF from 5 years ago. TFTV
Quick find near awesome views down to a secluded beach. OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC
Visiting the South Coast and happy to be back on an enjoyable dghoffy trail again. Just one DNF during today's efforts. All the rest were found in good condition and logs signed. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series dghoffy and elysium_au
May have inadvertently dropped a credit card on my travels. No problem if it's found as it is now inactive.

Used the coordinates to easily find this very nicely concealed cache. Beautiful clifftop walk on a gorgeous sunny winter day. Thankyou

Cache stuffed with trash... we removed them. Logbook usable and signed.

Suspected what we would be looking for, bingo geoson9 caught this one! Thanks for cache. Great hideaway down there.
As 2021 draws to a close I find myself with some time off work for a couple of trips, first to Narrabri for a funeral and a day later heading to Bermagui for some well earned rest and relaxation. Oh what a year it has been.
Found whilst in Bermigui and slowly working towards my goal of 2000 finds by the end of the year...
Started this end od the track and found after a little while, gps doesn't seem to like accuracy in here...

Found on a mini-day trip from Narooma to Bermagui. We parked at the suggested coords and took a lovely cliff walk to get a good set of SST caches. This one was probably our favourite location: after finding the funny cache all and well, we looked around to find a beautiful, crisp view of the beach below with a deep blue ocean surrounding it. It's a top location that only geocaching, and nothing else, would have ever shown us. TFTC dghoffy and elysium_au!
Woot! Did all the ones along this path. Some last night in the dark and rain, the ones I missed with the kids and Nana this morning. Lovely walk and great little caches.
Wow the view from here is spectacular! Thank you for being us here this morning, we enjoyed the little trail
Found in the world of solitary caching with sanitised hands before and after the find
Loved the view and the cache and left a star to shine
Keep safe and keep caching

Predominantly creative hides on this series kept things interesting. Got this one. Scenery beautiful. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.
