After lunch at ettalong with the family thought grab a few quick caches on the way home this was the first stop quick and easy surprised that it isn't muggled but just shows how much people really pay attention
I am surprised that this cache doesn't get muggled on the weekends..The cache was wet, but the log is still usable.
Total Caches Found 5981
Have benn sitting on this one for quite a while to see what would happen to it. Set off late this afternoon with the GeoDawg in tow to try for it. Well Rory against the odds and all the expert Cacher advice in past logs it's still there, Well done
PS
Notebook needs a baggie it's a little damp. Didn't have any sorry
Thanks for the great cache jlcrwaite

Found 6:24 pm with SkyPirate~. I had to get out and do a Cache for my daily streak. So this cache is one that is in striking distance from home. SkyPirate~ came along with me and we arrived at GZ. My initial suspicion given where we were and could see was not where it was but when we walked around to where GZ seemed to be I noticed something else and soon had the cache in hand. The location was a bit surprising given potential muggle activity. We signed the log and replaced. Anyway thanks for the cache.
This time the field was deserted and with the place to myself and the updated coordinates I was able to make the find. The log is becoming a bit damp as the container isn't really waterproof. TFTC.
Incredibly easy. Biggest surprise that it hadn't been taken. Bit waterlogged on the inside, might need some TLC
This cache really won't last long, in fact I'm surprised it's still here. It seems this is a popular place for muggles so its only a matter of time before someone stumbles across it.
Oh well, for the time being it's still here and it's a place I hadn't been before. TFTC

It will be interesting to see which will come first: the log becoming to wet to write on, or the cache getting muggled.

I have been waiting for a chance to get a FTF and lo and behold, the opportunity came last Monday when emails hit my in-box announcing that 2 new caches, less than 5 minutes from home, had been placed. Alas, I was sitting at Sydney Airport waiting to fly out to Fiji at the time, so my wait for a FTF continues. My first, well almost my first, order of business on my return home, though, was to find these caches.
I picked the wrong area to start my search for Rory but I soon had cache in hand ... just took a little longer than I thought it would. A nice hide for a first attempt and given the terrain and location of the hide, I actually didn't mind that the coords pointed to the middle of the carpark rather than right at the spot ... it just made for a more interesting search. And I am pleased to note that despite it being in the open, the cache survived its first weekend of soccer!
Thanks Rory and jlcrwaite ... I enjoyed the find and the geo-dog enjoyed exploring new territory.

There were games aplenty in spite of the wet morning and it was too crowded to do a proper search, with the coordinates putting it in the middle of the paved car park (as is apparent from the satellite image). Will try again on a non-sporting day.

Cache found, like others say, this won't last where it is. My advice move it to a more secluded place before you lose it.

My first FTF! Very exciting. Persistence paid off today while I played with my son on the oval. He was very excited to help me today! TFTC!!
Found 3rd to find, with mrs and mr fish. Cords out. Don't think this one will last Long.
Another one on the list that came out today. Hoping for three FTF for the day but was beaten. Caught up again with Mr&Mrs Fish. So this made a 3rd to find. Heading off for some more.
We called in here not long after publishing and met up with selyndamaree and her little fella. We left them to it after I lost interest with the cache, another one obviously nowhere near GZ. After finding a different cache nearby, we returned to meet up with Roz65 and dlturner again, then found the cache straightaway, with the GPS saying GZ was 25m away. Unfortunately this cache is very exposed to the public and will probably be taken on the first day of soccer. Thanks for the hide.
Thought we weren't going to get this one due to a group of people flying small helicopters, but fortunately they were on 'the other side' of a certain structure and we were out of view. TFTC.
Doing a spot of dogsitting, or dog walking in this case, I was pretty much a passenger on this one as the littlies ran off ahead with the compass to fing the treasure.
Thanks, great to get some caching in while visiting from Melbourne.

After collecting the Geokids from school we needed to deliver GazaC to his Accommodation nearby this cache, so we headed out for a walk...I handed the GPS reins over to the Geokids who madly dashed about following the readings, which simply had them criss crossing the Carpark (lucky it was a quiet afternoon here) - with a reminder to think about where these things like to hide, they settled down and made the simple find - TFTC jlcrwaite.
