Checked on this yesterday and no sign of the cache. As we've had a few problems with this one, sadly we've decided it's time to archive.
Had a good look where the gps took us and around area, but unfortunately couldn't find.
We were norty and drove right up to gz. Unfortunately we had no luck finding the cache.
Kewl lil camo cache and a shinny new log. I found this log relatively easy the gps is right on the money. I parked naughty tho and ran across the street, twice if im honest coz i forgot my pen an had to run back. Now i jus have to get back the other way. Thanks for the cache. Signed teq. Rite at the bottom just to be different
Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and location
Pleased to have knocked this one off, and using the cover of darkness it was fairly quiet everywhere which meant we could search freely. A bit of searching but soon found it in the obvious spot.

Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Being very early on a Sunday Morning meant that traffic here was almost non-existent so it allowed us to park very close to the cache. A small search needed but a bad look in the most obvious place meant we didn't find it as quick as we should of. Thanks for the hide.

This was one of more than fifty Geocaches I found today in the company of HKB and 11hpg11. We signed the logs HI1, an anachronism of our handles to save on log space. We travelled over to the Mount and Papamoa from Hamilton, leaving at the end of the All Black/ South Africa test at about 5am and didn’t roll back into Hamilton until after 8pm. It was a long day, and the weather wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring the area and enjoying the wide variety of high quality hides.
Due to the unsociable hour of the morning it was all quiet around GZ. I donned my head lamp and fumbled about in the dark for a bit but it was 11hpg11 who spotted the cache first. TFTC.

Really missed timed my cache today and hit full on 5pm traffic, still managed to get to GZ and had a nice little walk, Amazing how busy this road gets. Was walking quite a bit past the cache while I was waiting for the GPS to get signal and in the end checked my phone and had to turn around and head back to GZ, Phone took me exactly to the right spot and soon had cache in hand. Cheers NZkites for another cool cache and helping keeping this streak going
A nice quick drive by. We have driven past these two caches hundreds of times. Today we were in no hurry and on our way to find some others, so decided to stop for a these 2. lovely views if it wasn't for all the traffic would make a good spot for a picnic. Tftc

Having only found 17 caches so far this year our aim was to at least double that on our first decent cache run in a long time.
Having driven past here many times we finally managed to remember to stop and pick up this cache, surprisingly easy to find after reading some logs........
Come on Murray and Janet, give it another go......
Got tooted at and given the finger by someone as we pulled back onto the road, maybe he thought we were gonna take him out.... he stormed off and turned off at Maungatapu and over the causeway, we gave him the finger back as he crossed above us, we thought he might need it back.....
Grow up Geckoh's, LOL.

Little off roading required, busy today as whole group of kids picking up conkers. So I grabbed a bag and joined in, which was cool as my daughter didn't know what they were so found the cache and returned home with a bag of Conker's. TFTC.
Second one found. Decided to go back up along the main road rather than off roading the 600 metres between caches!
A nice hide and easy to get to drive by.
Tftc.

Managed to park almost right on top of the cache, perfect distance away for my partner to stay sitting in the drivers seat and still figure out where it was before I did *sigh* second time he did that today!! TFTC
Took the day off from caravan renovations, (yes still ongoing after three years but getting there,) and after cleaning up 2 new caches in Rotorua, one up on the Mamaku's and the four new ones in Matamata came over to Tauranga to do a bit of caravan research and get some paint .
After a subway for lunch it was time to clean up a few more caches around the Mt. After doing the one just along the road and driving back up on to the road we overshot this one as well and had to once again drive down onto the grass and back along towards GZ and hope no Mr Plod comes by. Felt a bit conspicuous.!!
This time Mrs S made the find, with a loud screech when something small and black crawled on her hand. Yetch, don't like small crawly black things, but think it was only a beetle, not a cocky.
Signed and replaced and back on the road.
Thanks nzlites.

Quickly found this afternoon after also being successful on the cache just back up the road. No problems with the cache or hide. Returned as found. TFTC.
Had to hunt for a little for this good camod cache, first on our way over the hill today
The highway was busy today .... the beach will be a popular destination on such a glorious spring day; thanks for the cache.
Okay so after searching the third tree we found it. Sometimes the phone gps is all over the place. Nice views to the east.
What a beautiful day for caching and yes it is a lovely view. Found this cache on the ground so put it back where we thought it should be tftc
2 days off from work and haven't been for a good drive in a while. Lovely day today. Mum found this cache on the ground but its all good.
I remember finding the last cache in this area, it was a great view then and its a great view now. A quick in and out and got safely back onto the highway which is always a plus
She overshot this twice last week, but today She got sorted, then tested her cross-country driving --- and drove right to it!!
Nice little cache in a convenient spot --- a bit exposed so covered it up some more.
Then it was back across country again to pull out into the traffic at the widest verge.
TFTC on a sunny bay day!

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's
We spent a full day of caching from Rotorus to Tauranga. Travelling along your beautful sea front, forestry & close to the town centre.
We found a great selection of caches.
Thanks for placing this cache nzkites

Cats&Dragons tested his vehicles offroad capability here so not too much of a walk.
Many thanks

Out and about for a days caching over in the Bay with Zorgon, to see what we can find, before Mrs Dragon and I head out of town for a short time.
This was our fourteenth cache of the day and we arrived nice and early.
The Easterly wind was doing a great job at keeping the muggles away which is all fine by these cachers
A little bit of inventive car maneuvering and we were headed for the next cache
Thanks for the placement

On the road again... I had my phone on silent all day and was surprised to see Gap (of Fap and Gap) on my doorstep... To the Gapmobile... Gap had jobs in Matamata and Tauranga. But after that, we were going to do a mini cache raid...
The super moon was fighting through the clouds and throwing its silvery light across the bay. Gap drove as close as possible to ground zone, making this a park and grab. TFTC.

We didn’t want to get stuck in the grass so parked safely and walked to GZ, a nice spot by the Bay, our last cache before heading back to Auckland, many thanks for all your caches in the BOP.
Found with NZFlossy - not there very long, but long enough for my battery to die in the car. Not a member of AA so called BB Bob Batchelor Toyota to the rescue
Going past this one today with NZBiscuit. Very busy road not sure about the parking, bit scary just off the road and the grass could get rather boggy. TFTC
Quick grab on our way home from running errands. Last cache with nzkeko until he comes back on holiday.
Had to go past this way & managed to drive right to gz,the wind was freezing & decided I wanted minimum time out of the car at the risk of getting stuck.I didn't.Thanks guys, quick find.
We took the long way home from Bayfair this afternoon to pick up this new cache. Parked on the roadside but in a safe place away from the busy traffic. I set off with my iPhone and it sent me halfway into the water, while Mrs Tparty stayed on the land to find the cache with her C:geo app. We didn't linger today to enjoy the view across the water as the wind was biting and we are both sick with "man flu". Thanks nzkites for your placement... our first find in 6 weeks.
FTF @ 21:26. I saw this listing email while I was having dinner with a friend and put it in the back of my mind. When I got home I thought I might as well jump in the car and go seek the two Rangataua Bay View cache, because the wife and kids have ditched me and I was home alone tonight. I knew there was an event on at BayPark and thought I would chance the traffic. Turns out, there was almost no traffic at that time. I quickly located the first of the Rangataua series as I was passing anyway and hadnt previously got that one yet, then headed to this one. Found it quickly. I know it can be a great view of the bay from here, but not in the dark of night. I spend a lot of time sailing in this bay. Its a great place. Thanks for bringing me here tonight.
