Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and now in the Flinders Ranges. We haven’t been further than Hawker on previous trips and are in awe of the stunning scenery. This hadn’t had a visitor for a year so happy to add our names. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way. We headed off on a round trip from Hawker to Blinman. The scenery was stunning. We also enjoyed the history of the area. Thanks for the cache desertfox.
After refuelling we headed off on todays adventure PAR 3, PAR 4 and PAR 5 side trip today with Mattycat and Perfect Di, the last 15km was completed after the sun was set making for a interesting change in the adventure, was nice to finally get to a smoother road so we could high tail to our accomadation, cache was a quick find for us today

So we went to the north finding stuff with satelites!! On the great Frog'n'cat adventure of '22...
There might have been some scenic shots. We may have done some 4wding. We did look for boxes in the bush of course !!! Priorities
Excellent !!!! Having come from West to East, and taken a couple of side tours on PAR 3 and 5, we were happy in the dark to finally come to the start cache which was our finish !!!
Many thanks to desertfox41 for placing and maintaining this cache on our geo-travel map

Up in the donga, searching, spotting and signing cache logs with Purrfect Di, Jack, and the Froghoppin Duo, using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that luck stuff actually !!!
*Logs are composed and published with love using GSAK of course.*

Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Watch out for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and sharp rocks in your tyres
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on
Now that there are no real restrictions - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thanks so much for reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again !

After bumping up the gorges yesterday we headed out along Glass Gorge then to Nuccaleena Mine on PAR 3 across PAR 4 with a detour up PAR 5 and the eventually reaching the Artimore ruins well after dark and then finding a creek bed to camp near Wirrealpa for the night.
A welcome stop to stretch the legs

A long weekend away with sir_spectre in the Flinders Ranges. We had each been here before and strangely had few double ups so some revisiting was in order to try to get our maps similar. The weather threw everything at us but we just made our plans suit the conditions. Lots of 4WD and walks included.
Thanks to desertfox41 from mogni

This was a really good way to start our PAR drive today, a cache to mark the turn-off .
TNLNSL.
Just replaced the cache and starting to air down the tyres when another vehicle arrived [^].
Thanks Desertfox41.

Another great part of the world accessed by the 80 series cruiser. There were a few black clouds that ended up dropping a few drops on to the swag. No need to worry though as they evaporated and all was good. I don't even think it kept down the dust! [^]
Thanks to desertfox41 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Found with Jac-Jam on our second daytrip out from Willow Springs. Today we toured the area tothe north east of WS to Blinman ten returned along the main road. TFTC.
Quick find while passing through with Poelypoel on our post COVID isolation Flinders and Gammons Tour.

Came out here after driving the PAR via Patawarta Gap and the Artimore Ruins. Great day out. Thanks
Found in 2012 when we put these out, as I helped I guess i can claim a find. Thanks desertfox41.
Found while we toured a circuit of the Flinders Ranges, Marree, Roxby Downs, Woomera and Port Augusta for the week, mostly touring the backroads and visiting many scenic and interesting locations. Thanks for the cache desertfox41!
Whilst nearby we came over to here.
Alas could not do the track today with no clutch or 4wd working.
A quick find.

found on day 3 of a 5 day trip around the flinders rangers. took a detour leaving chambers gorge to grab this one. quick find.
I was showing a friend from Tasmania around SA, travelling to the Flinders Ranges NP after spending the night at Chambers Gorge, and decided to take the more circuitous route via the Artimore track and Moolooloo to pick up a few caches that had been placed since my previous visit to the area in 2011.
This was a quick find.
Thanks desertfox41 for the cache.

A quick find on our PAR tour. Replaced the mint tin with a real cache container and a logbook that will never fill up.
This was the weekend of the "unloved road trip". A series of caches with various amounts of unloved were on the hit list. All of them were in the areas near Parachilna and Hawker and in between. Freddo and Malco! were in the Pahero while Brad, B2, and Cache_or_Check (aka FunkyGibbon) were in the ReverseTardis. Sadly janet had stayed home along with Ruff_Ruff, but B2 (like her brother J2) is a well qualified albeit only occasional member of the Brad&Janet team.
This was day 2 which was the PAR day. Having been out to Nucaleena on PAR3 the rest of the loop was spent on PAR5 and PAR4.
By this stage we were at the end of the gnarly stuff. Freddo replaced the mint tin as it seems a bit disappointing to come all this way and not find a decent container. We also replaced the scrappy piece of paper with a logbook which will take a very long time to fill

Angorichina Adventure.
Brad&Janet , B2, *Cache or Check* and yours truly were conscripted by Freddo to further his ambitious plans… Plans to travel by 4WD into the heart of the copper country around Blinman, picking up targets of opportunity along the way, and to reset the clock on many lonely and unloved caches.
A quick stop on our circuit of Nuccaleena, Moolooloo, Patawarta & Artimore. Updated the container.
Thanks for the cache, desertfox41

This is the story of the Flinders Ranges trip of 4 men and a muggle, looking for ‘unlove’.
Freddo, Malco!, Brad (minus Janet but with B2) and myself spent 3 days in a 4WD exploring the remote sections of the Flinders Ranges in search of caches that had not been found for 6 months or more.
After 7.5 hours on pretty rough 4WD tracks we finally got back to some ‘proper’ roads. Sad though to say goodbye to such a stunning part of the world.

Easy find for the Newbie Geodude and makeshift tour guide.. Breezy day with beautiful scenery. TFTC
A glorious winter's day, thankfully dry, because the tracks and PARs up here would be challenging in the wet. We had an interesting afternoon on this PAR, loved the driving, the scenery and the wildlife! Even found a few caches! TFTC
Out for a drive through a few of the gorges and a couple of the PAR's in the Flinders on a perfect winter day. [^]
We had worked out our route after driving through Parachilna Gorge to Blinman then on to Glass Gorge Road and up the track past Moolooloo station.
What a great drive through some stunning country which took us longer than we initially thought, but that didn't matter it was a fun afternoon with a couple of bonus caches along the way.
This was our last cache for the day after visiting the Artimore ruins and was a quick find as we headed back towards Blinman and then on to Rawnsley Park in the dark trying to avoid all the kangaroos on the roads.
Thanks for the cache desertfox41.

Very nice drive along the creeks to get to the start of the PAR. From what I understand, investing in a Bulldozer would take care of the washaways on the PAR..
Or there is a private backtrack in to Artimore ruins from one of the local stations.
Thanks for the cache desertfox41.
Good to see the beginning of the PAR. Will be back when it's cooler to do the track. TFTC
Found after a short search. GPS had GZ 10m from cache.
The end of an enjoyable track.
TFTC!

This has to be one of the most remote mint tins in caching. It was kinda nostalgic to find one. It was also nice to get a silver. Had fun driving along the road/creek bed to get here. TFTC
Silver to the raccoon and squirrel! On our way into Blinman, we thought we'd check out this one. Surprised it hasn't had more finds - our car (AWD and lowish clearance with all our gear on board) managed it fine! Surprised to see a cache container of this type out here - but can confirm it was still in its hidey hole. We didn't proceed on to the Artimore PAR TFTC
Joint FTF with Adrian Mc. After an already amazing adventure we thought we
would continue the high and head out to try our luck on this one. My heart
sank a little when the tin was found outside the hide but a blank log lifted
my spirits once more. We returned the cache to where it should have been
and headed up the 'road' to the ruins.
