Logs
TFTC:). A bit of mosquitoes but managed to make the find.Of note, log was quite full but managed to squeeze my name on there. Only noticed after the fact that a small mini log was added. C.C
I didn't see any moths as I searched for the cache. Following the path, I avoided any bush bashing. Cheers!
Came here to pick up a particular cache for its placed date. Decided to do the walk and grab them all whilst in the area
My gps had me searching a little off target this morning which looks like it happens a bit. After widening my search perimeter i soon had the little blighter in hand. Yesterday afternoon i realized that i had a clear day where i could sneak off for a cache or two today. I wasnt feeling a long day in the car so decided to head to Melb on the train. After starting the day at an event and cito in Newmarket i headed for Seaholme and Altona to find caches along the shore. The worst thing about living inland is that i miss the sea so this jaunt will satisfy at least two desires. If i finish the caches along here then i will take the train and get off at various stations to get some nearby ones until i head home. Skipper is find number 3,744 for me. A fun micro sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Hobsons Bay City. I am logging this one on Tuesday 27 Aug 2024 at 12:43 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 19C 59% 8 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Robmc.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Finally found after a long search. Just off the path. After consulting the hint we discovered that its not fixed in the ground!
I journeyed from Melbourne's CBD to this region for a power trail walk. The weather was pleasant in the morning, but it transitioned into a rainy day around noon. It was a rewarding geocaching excursion that allowed me to appreciate the natural surroundings and rural landscapes immensely.61st cache of today, Nice hide. TFTC
Thank his god there was a gate to get onto this path. I nearly missed it and was considering jumping the fence! Found the cache nice and quickly, in good condition.TFTC
Spent half an hour looking looked everywhere and still couldnt find it even with the hint
Found during the Victorian COTY Awards nomination event. Robmc, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
On our way back to where we parked the car, we left the path for this cache. Searched around a while, and finally found it, may a few meters off the suggested coordinates.
With dot558 on a trip to Lara to visit friends and thought it was time to visit the area fir smilesThank you
A nice little detour away from the muggles. A few creepy crawlers keeping this one company, tftc
After a beautiful morning at the Altona Dog Beach we walked back along the trail to head home but not before a quick stop to look for Skipper. Found by the Bomb Squad after a few minutes of looking at the wrong stump. TFTC
Late to log this one as little miss had a big tumble afterwards and we had to cut our day short. Found this one beforehand thankfully!! TFTC
Nice hide, easy find. Another find on my bike ride along the foreshore trail. Thanks for bringing me here. tftc
Out and about collecting some caches on a not so great weather day. Nice quick find.
My thanks for the cache, Robmc.
My thanks for the cache, Robmc.
After this morning's parkrun at Newport Lakes I did the usual and looked for some nearby caches. Turns out that I have surprisingly found all the caches at the Newport Lakes Park, including the CO's new one published last weekend (actually the parkrun course goes past that GZ location at exactly the 1km mark).
So on the way home I stopped at this familiar location and made my way to GZ for a quick find. I don't know how or why I have not picked up this cache before, considering how close to home it is and how often I have walked past it (particularly during Covid lockdowns, but I recall geocaching was not permitted at the time).
That takes care of the daily find for the geocaching streak - now on day 27 of 28. Just one more!
Thanks, Robmc.

TFTC. Out on this beautiful day with Turrific and SandaClaus. The hint was essential, easy once we read it
Was a nice and sunny day for a change, So i decided to take the opportunity to go out and take the bike for a ride and cleanup some caching trails in altona,
Found that this cache is in need of a new logbook. If another cacher could help out, or may need fixing up in the next maintenance run.
Thanks for all the cache owners for placing these caches for me and others to enjoy!.
