Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Our last day in the area so making the most of it. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches. The drive down to gz was certainly spectacular- glad we didnt encounter another car going the opposite direction to us. The climb gave the calves a workout - thanks Bruce! Thanks LizandBruce
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are staying in Murray Bridge for a few days and doing a bit of sightseeing around the area using geocaching as our guide. TFTC Liz&Bruce.
Its day 6 and Team SQUIRM are heading east, weve picked up a QLD hitchhiker to make a team of seven for the day. After an event in Mannum we are touring around the area seeing the sights.Tftc Liz and BruceFind #5652
The Leap Day Mega was a great excuse to come down from Queensland and weve had a busy time exploring Adelaide and surrounds cache by cache. Meeting up with friends old and new, we sometimes cached with them and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Although I have been to Adelaide before, this trip has shown me so many new and interesting places as Ive chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches for everyone to enjoy.
Found in our group of seven Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing. Stacey's mom has not got it going on so Stacey has to step up to the plate again. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce
Another day in Adelaide and SQUIRM are on the road again this time with a hitchhiker from QueenslandAn early start saw us soon stopping to wait for the little man from the village who got Staceys Mum back on the road again after her second flat tyre in two days Weve been too hard on Staceys MumFirst stop was Mannum to attend The Best Breakfast Event in the world ever then more targeted caching challenges, D/Ts, high faves and anything else we stepped over along the way there might even have been a new LGA in thereThanks Liz and Bruce
I can’t think why I haven’t detoured to this 2002 Liz and Bruce cache before. Nice day for it today, and fortunately no other vehicles on Sunnyside Rd, because an oncoming vehicle would have been a nightmare. The geocaching.com trails map doesn’t show the “road” that takes you pretty much right to the cache. I wouldn’t want to drive on it but it’s fine for pedestrians.
Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce.
Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce.
The road to this one is closed currently " due to high flood levels ". Will come back in the future for the find.
Day 2 of my three day weekend camping and geocaching around Murray Bridge.
Today I concentrated on the area between Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend.
An enjoyable day with lots of great caches.

Day 4 of my Adelaide adventure with my sister jendavo01. Onboard the Murray Princess for a 7 day cruise along the river, hopefully we stop long enough to claim some smilies today . Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their for others to find .
Went out for the day with M-dolphin and her dog and thought we would go for an Adventure today tftc
Found it.......what a Lovely sunny day....... not.......it's raining but it's the weekend having fun with geodog voodoo and Yatesy222 tftc
An amazing little bit of paradise in here. Who would have known. A long weekend is not idea to search this area - lots of looks as the area was pretty busy. As previous finders have mentioned, the road up the hill is totally washed out, likely worse since March making the walk up difficult. A quick find, and now to the walk back down, trying not to slip. TFTC
Found during the long weekend with TIC_TAC_TOM, gnomes and DNAblue2112, and others. We had to work for this one! Because the road had eroded away, there was no chance any of our cars were attempting this path. So we got there on foot, a steep and rocky slope on a very hot day. Ah, the things we do to find a cache. The cache was a quick find once we got there and the view was pretty nice too. Tftc!
Bit of a hike up the road, wouldn't recommend driving up since the road is getting washed away. Great cache all the same.
Wonderful being able to collect a smiley here ️

A nice little adventure....hevwalker gave me hints of what not to do including falling over....we climbed up the easier way than she did the time she did it.....After my legs were telling me that they didn't agree with my decision I made it to GZ.... signed the cache and took a selfie with hevwalker.....on my way down...being very careful.... I was thinking that I would be proud to have made it without falling and.......famous last words.....down I went...slippery little stones/pebbles....owwwww...squished fingers and sore hip as these were the things I landed on. Still, I was glad I did it... TFTC Liz and Bruce
A fun journey down the narrow winding path to discover another world of shacks and weekenders. A great location. TFTC
Fantastic. Thank you. Our kind of cache. Getting there takes you somewhere special then when you arrive, all out of breath, the cache is there waiting for you.
Found on the way to Adelaide to meet up with Pacman, Jacko83, SedgewickDave, Tritonz and Homburg for a caching trip adventure that would include many hikes, kayaking and getting some tricky D/T's.
Thanks for the cache.

After kayaking all day on the river made the quick stop on the way home to find this one TFTC
Great walk, I reckon the track is more than a T2 by itself! Looked like we were going to quickly get into higher terrain, but Ol made a quick find down low. Great spot, fave. TFTC
From where I expected it to be a tougher that 2 terrain slog but soon discovered a sloping track near by. TFTC.
Today we explored Murray Bridge and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An excellent view from the road as we watched a house boat travelling down the Murray River. Up the hill we went and made an easy find at GZ. What an excellent location and adding to our favourites. This is why we love geocaching, bring us to places like this, thanks Liz and Bruce for bringing us here!

Mr Tardis went out today to find a heap of caches around Murray Bridge. I stopped here and enjoyed this quiet place along the river, a quick climb up to GZ to enjoy the sunnyside views. Great to see this old cache is still going strong.

I was out with JJ52 today to help her get some numbers, with the main aim of the day for JJ52 to pick up the GEOPETS series, with me doing a maintenace check as we went, and then us both finding Oz Mega arrow. We had a great day with only 1 DNF on the Oz Mega series. Enjoyed lunch at Fasta Pasta and then ended the day with dinner at Wong's Happy Gathering Restaurant before heading home.
Decided to take a break from the Oz Mega series and find this cache. The road in was a surprise, the number of houses at river was a surprise. So tucked away and secret.
We made it up the hill and discovered the cache in the 2nd place we looked. The view was lovely.

After nearly finishing the Oz Mega arrow Ismartis and I decided to take a bit of a break and come here to have a look at the river and find this cache.
An interesting drive in and quite a thriving community once we were in sight of the river.
Found our way to GZ which got the hearts pumping, but it was worth it for the view. Cache was found in the second place we looked. [^]

Made that way harder than it needed to be nearly lost footing climbing where I didn't need to be tftc great spot

Cleverly hidden cache that was eventually located in what was an obvious location once it was viewed from the correct angle.

Had a great day out caching with clare007. We started by completing this OZ Mega Trail but took a detour to get this cache. So glad we did such a gorgeous little fishing village by the river. We found a place to park and started our ascent up the pebbly hill. All was going great but both our GPS's were sending us crazy, don't know why but up the hill further I went and down I came...Ouch. My knee was near my shoulder, I reckon I saw it there. It was okay I kept on (though we had a trip to the chemist for some anti-inflammatory rub and a knee support). I kept caching though. [^] Left a TB. TFTC Liz and Bruce
havwalker12 & I decided to make a break from the Oz Mega trail and drive down to the river.
After a chilly start, the sun was out and people were busy in a little community I didn't even know was here
It was quite picturesque as we trekked up the hill and a hawk hovered above.
But our GPS decided it would no longer help us, and had Heather further up the hill,
and me looking left and right near GZ.
She let go of the tree and came crashing down rather quickly,
jerking her leg at a peculiar angle, oh dear.
It was a difficult way to discover the cache, but she did it.
After hobbling down, we decided that morning tea was in order.
So now we need to finish the Oz Mega series and buy a strap for the knee.
Always an adventure caching with someone else.
Awesome spot with added wildlife, thanks for the cache Liz & Bruce

Started our Road trip and decided this was a cache that suited. Steep ascent and breath-taking views at GZ. Quiet day at Sunnyside. Thanks for the cache. Liz and Bruce.
Today was Oz Mega 2014 geo-art day. We contacted the CO a few weeks before hand and got a bunch of new caches to replace all the missing ones in front of the chicken farm.
We replaced all the ones that multiple people had DNF’d except for #113 and #114 because we just ran short of containers so had to DNF those 2.
Project “Centroid” road trip continued today...after a bit of planning Fleabag and I decided to head towards Adelaide again for the long weekend to get 500 or so caches to move our centroid far enough away from home to complete a challenge cache in Melbourne. We managed to get 501 just for good measure.
At the same time we tried to get a few areas of Victoria done on the way there and back to start working on another challenge cache back in Melbourne.
A quick diversion down to a beautiful place by the river which would be lovely to have a holiday house at. After a short trek up the nice steep hill a quick find was made by fleabag, so I took a quick photo and headed back to the geo-art. A nice diversion and a favourite from me.
Thanks for the cache, the puzzles, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy- and I were on a project to get 500 caches in 4 days that were over 100km from our home locations. We made the detour off the power trail for this one and much enjoyed this area. Spiffy- was busy searching tougher terrain turning the DT to a 4 4 while I stayed on the track an uncovered the cache. Thanks to Liz and Bruce for the cache. A favorite for bringing me to this nice place.
Ah, a Liz and Bruce cache. You can always count on your caches taking you to interesting places. Dennis remembers this place from many many years ago, the houses have certainly changed since then. The cache hide is a good choice, we found that when looking at the hide from one direction the hide is not obvious but from a different angle it was quite clear. SL L 1 x Pathtag. TFTC
Hmm that was a pretty narrow dirt road, fortunately no bigger (or smaller) vehicles were travelling in the opposite direction to us. Geomum and I set off for a trek, saw where the GPS was pointing geomum was puzzled, then a nicer path was noticed. Had some fun hunting, but finally looked at the hint and I was hunting in all the wrong locations. The cache was located in good condition. Giving a favourite because it took way longer than it should have and I really enjoyed the walk TNL- Small water pistol. TFTC
Seems a long time since I have found a 'Liz and Bruce' cache, so it nice to be able to carefully drive on down and search for this one. Rather rocky and uneven on the walk up, but with good coordinates the cache was soon found - @ 1900.
TNLN Then it was a careful return drive up the windy and narrow road.

I enjoyed spending a weekend up in Murray Bridge with my folks Sylken, and after a very fun and successful evening of night caching last night, we were up with the birds again today to grab some more caches on our way to Swan Reach to do La Cueva.
Having learned about the ferocious mosquitoes in the area from last weeks geocaching expedition, this week we came fully armed and prepared before we even attempted our first cache for the day. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery and some really fun caches = perfect Saturday

Found at 2:08:00 PM, GAFF3, I returned to Murray Bridge today after spending the weekend in Adelaide catching up on some caches I missed during the Mega earlier this year.
After driving down the narrow track past the nice homes on the water (this would be a cracker spot in summer) I pulled up at the bottom of the track.
I made this one harder than it need be and soon located the well protected hide.
SL, cache in good condition.

Day 6 of RobS72 and my caching binge in SA for the 2014 Mega Event. This was cache #72 out of 82 for the day. The final day of Oz Mega and we had to complete one of the power trails which we abandoned a few days ago due to bad light We decided to take the old road from where we are staying instead of the freeway and grab some caches on the way before the hard work of the power trail. We came from the wrong direction but it turned out to be a nice scenic drive. Thanks Liz and Bruce for the cache.
Traveled down to South Australia from Townsville, North Queensland, with MattCNS to attend the 2014 Oz Mega Event being held at Murray Bridge.
Day 6 of our S.A. geocaching holiday and our last day caching as part of the Oz Mega Event. We started the morning caching along the Old Princes Highway from Littlehampton to Murray Bridge. After lunch, we mopped up the last of the Oz Mega Power Trail that we had missed earlier in the week. The afternoon was spent caching around the Tailem Bend area. All up 87 finds and 1 DNF's.
Interesting drive to get into this spot and well worth it.

Having loaded our caches last week in preparation for the Mega Event we hadn't realized this one was "Offline" so we headed down the road anyway. When we got the houses at the bottom we discovered we have passed these houses many times as we have traveled up and down the Murray on the Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises and was always a little envious of the lucky ones staying there. We drove on and finally came upon the location but Mrs Sandalwood Cottage has the flu so decided to sit this one out so up the Mountain Mr Sandalwood Cottage went but she could see him doing the Geocachers walk and knew that he was about to give up. Reluctantly she headed off up the hill after him muttering "You're not really going to make me come up there are you" and yes she did have to and despite him ensuring her he had looked "EVERYWHERE" she looked where the handheld Gizmo told her and there was the cache. So really she deserves triple points for this one, 1 for having to climb that damn hill even though she was sick, 2 for finding the cache, and 3 for finding a cache that is supposedly not even there?????
What a lovely hidden spot for a cache. The view as we drove down the hill towards GZ was fantastic. We drove quietly through this hidden village and then parked and climbed the hill towards the cache. Another great spot. Thanks Liz and Bruce for hiding one here.
So glad that I didn't notice this was offline. This is a beautiful little piece of paradise hidden away from the everyday world. TFTC
We're glad we visited this unexpected area, and glad we had loaded an older database before leaving Queensland as we see now it's offline. Plenty of places for sale down here, and an interesting road in- can't imagine two boats meeting on that road! Plenty of people about for the Easter weekend, and some very shiny boats, which you had a good view of from GZ. Cache safe and dry. TFTC, Liz and Bruce. =^.^=
3295 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1530. We are here for OZ MEGA 2014 at Murray Bridge. On logging this find we saw that it was unavailable. Made the walk from the parking area and had several yarns with the locals as we went. The cache is in good condition and well protected. SL Tnx Liz and Bruce.
We didn't realise this was offline but we are glad we visited as the place is so unexpected. Wouldn't like to be towing a boat and meet another car towing one from the opposite direction. A bit of a tricky situation that. TFTC
Found with Tassiegirl13 while attending the SA Oz Mega Event.
Well this little area was a real unexpected surprise, from up on the main road we didn't even think something like this little town would be here.
We found a park nearby and climbed up a bit of an old track to where Tassiegirl found the cache.
This is really one of those places we wouldn't come to or known about if not for the cache.
Thanks for placing it L&B

We made the drive to GZ, traveling along a road that was like being in a canyon! We made our way down past the houses, offering a great place to relax on the weekend for sure. We managed to park within about 100m of GZ, nit bad considering the people and cars about. The cache was quickly spotted by myself and the log book signed before we wandered back and watched some of the water skiing,

A great spot to be drawn to as Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I worked our way along the Oz Mega power trail. The place was buzzing with holiday makes in the houses, anglers on the banks and skiiers on the water... All topped off with perfect weather, it was a fantastic detour and nice distraction from the roadside caches... [^]
A short walk and little climb from where we parked the car, the container was elusive for a minute or so until Ghostgums spotted it and pulled it out for business. Names added to the log, it was tucked back and we headed back to the waters edge for a bite to eat before heading off.
Thanks for showing us a great little hide away.
Cheers Liz and Bruce.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Seemed easy enough to find. Perhaps its down because of Easter and the influx of muggles in their holiday homes, and we would attract attention.
